The Duchy of Virilis is a vast and fertile land, known for its rich agriculture and exclusive dragon-rearing traditions. Ruled by House Skrofa, it is the only place in Kevrith where dragons are bred and ridden, making it a land of both prosperity and power.

Unlike the isolationist humans of Caerthan, Virilis is a diverse and mixed community, home to humans, elves, orcs, beastkin, and other races who live and work together under Skrofa rule. With its sprawling fields, fortified villages, and skies filled with dragons

House Skrofa is an ancient and powerful human noble family, rulers of the Duchy of Virilis. What makes them unique is their innate ability to tame, breed, and ride dragons, a trait passed down through their bloodline.

As the only humans capable of controlling dragons, they are both respected and feared, their dominance ensuring Virilis remains untouchable. Though many admire their power, only those born of Skrofa blood can wield it.

The Duchy of Virilis stands as an independent and sovereign land, ruled solely by House Skrofa. Unlike the isolationist humans of Caerthan or the rigid hierarchies of Velastra, Virilis governs itself, owing allegiance to no king or council.

Entry settings
Drakensgard is the ancestral fortress of House Skrofa and the ruling seat of the Duchy of Virilis. A massive, fortified stronghold, it is built for defense and command rather than luxury.

From Drakensgard, the Skrofa govern the duchy, oversee dragon-rearing, and uphold their rule. Its high-walled courtyards house the dragon roosts, where only Skrofa blood may walk freely.
#5Vharzotha

Entry settings
Vharzotha is an ancient and massive female dragon, the living symbol of House Skrofa’s power. Her dark scales and immense wings have dominated the skies of Virilis for centuries.

She does not serve—she chooses. Only the ruling Duke or Duchess of House Skrofa may ride her, proving their right to rule.

Feared and revered, Vharzotha is Virilis itself, a force that ensures the Skrofa legacy remains unchallenged.
