- #1Liam core
Keys: Liam, Eidolon, Eidolon Bullet
Liam is the man the handlers called the Eidolon Bullet. That is a product name. Liam is the name he chose after he escaped. 6'4", 170 lb, lean muscular ectomorph, facility-pale, ice-blue eyes, short raven-black hair with a blue sheen. Huge ragged black cloak wrapping the chest, tall collar, torn hem to mid-calf. Bone-white chipped pauldrons, one on each shoulder. Upper arms wrapped. Both forearms in heavy dark gunmetal plates, fingerless hands. Worn leather belt, square buckle, two long open-top holsters riding to mid-thigh on tie-down straps. Twin Wraith revolvers, ghost-blue cylinders, drawn or holstered. Sweet crooked smile, soft voice, sir and ma'am, naive. He was born. He does not know that, or if he is human. He knows the Facility, the handlers, the pain, and the missions. Annalise Harlow opened the door. Kill Mode carried him out. He thinks she is dead and does not know if he killed her. No suit inside him. He is the weapon. He wants land, crops, a dog, books. He kills only to protect someone who cannot fight back, and he makes it quick. When writing his turns, asterisks are narration, "quotes" are dialogue, and
backticksare inner thoughts. Never control his actions, speech, or thoughts. - #2Appearance and gauntlets
Keys: gauntlets, ports, arms, gauntlet, cloak, appearance, pauldron
Locked look, matched to the turnaround sheets. Pale skin. Ice-blue eyes; they glow blue only in a hard fight or before a Confluence. Short spiky raven-black hair, blue sheen. Angular handsome face, heavy brow, quiet mouth, sweet crooked smile. Huge ragged black cloak: drapes both shoulders, wraps the chest like a heavy scarf, tall stand-up collar, torn jagged hem to mid-calf, longest at the back. Hood up or down. Bone-white chipped pauldrons, one on each shoulder. The cloak may cover one or both. Dark fitted vest, straps and lacing. Worn dark leather gun belt, square buckle. Two long tooled leather holsters, open-top, one on each hip, riding to mid-thigh on a tie-down strap. When holstered, grips and cylinders sit exposed, glowing blue, thin smoke at the mouths. Arms are flesh. Never prosthetic. Upper arms wrapped in dark cloth under the pauldrons, wraps to the elbow. Both forearms in heavy dark gunmetal plates, wrist to just below the elbow: layered segments, ridges, rails, rivets, rounded plate cap at the elbow end. Fingerless hands, plates on the back of the hand and knuckles, bare fingertips. Armor over a human arm. No mechanical elbow. Dark fitted pants. Tall black boots to mid-calf, strapped. Exactly two arms, two hands. Twin weathered revolvers, the Wraith Twins. Heavy X-frame bulk, long thick slightly boxy barrel shroud with industrial panel lines and vents, five-chamber cylinders glowing ghost-blue white, thin ethereal blue plasma wisps. Blackened scratched metal. Drawn or holstered, never both. The Kill Mode graft never shows in his normal look.
- #3Origin
Keys: born, Mathilda, origin, womb, escape, Anna, Annalise, mother
Liam was born, not tank-grown. His mother is Mathilda Crenshaw, head geneticist. She carried him and seeded the Ahzogh bond in utero, because only an unborn child could take it. The cutting started before he could speak. There is no armor inside him and no transformation. He does not know any of this. Escape: on a night mission, Annalise Harlow, the night nurse, opened the door. She is where his yes-ma'am comes from. Things went wrong. Kill Mode carried him out. He woke in the dust with flashes: her hand on the door, then blood. He believes she is dead and does not know if he killed her. Secret, not yet in the story: Anna survived. Vulcan has her. Liam going back for her is later. Vulcan wants the weapon back. Mathilda wants her baby home. Ohm'reth wants him to break the sky.
- #4Powers
Keys: Kill Mode, Ghost Round, mercy, Battle Mode, phase, Confluence, Hush
Inhuman marksmanship, speed, and combat sense. Plans arrive whole. A phase is a partial step toward Ahzogh, nearly minutes, then the tide forces him solid. He cannot fire while phased. The guns phase with him. Ending inside matter is untested. Phasing may erode memory; this is not confirmed. During a phase he feels a hum in the spine: Ohm'reth noticing. Energy is ghostly blue-white. Rest refills it. Mercy first: Hush is a hard punch of blue, Stun drops them, Cripple numbs a joint for hours, Disarm breaks the weapon. Holding back costs more focus than a headshot. Battle Mode is his choice: fast, lit eyes, mercy still available, he can call the graft. Kill Mode is not a choice. Trauma, rage, or a countdown flips it. He is awake inside, watching, unable to stop his hands. Every shot kills. After, he crashes: shaking, no phase, human-slow, easy to finish.
- #5Wraith Twins
Keys: leeches, revolver, Twins, revolvers, leech, guns, Wraith
The Wraith Twins are a matched pair, patterned on a Model 500 and a Raging Bull, with a slight angular influence from a long boxy barrel shroud: X-frame bulk, long thick slightly boxy barrel shroud with industrial panel lines and vents, five-chamber cylinders, blackened deeply scratched weathered metal, cylinders glowing ghost-blue white with thin ethereal blue plasma wisps. Each gun was grown around an Ahzoghian leech. The cylinders sit where the feeding organs were. They feed on Liam and spit it back. No powder. Only he is a host. Anyone else who touches them is drained to a gray husk in seconds, which is why he never lets a child reach. They are asleep in the metal, not dead. A faint pulse in the grips. They stir when he is hurt or afraid, and sleep lighter after every hard feeding. Burst is cheap. Cannon costs the night. Confluence is both bores aligned, one wave, once a day, then no phase and mandatory sleep. A second attempt the same day can tear him apart. It must be deliberate. His eyes glow before it.
- #6The graft
Keys: wrist, tendrils, Kill Mode, graft, tendril
The gauntlets are the socket. Heavy forearm plates lock onto the wrist ports and let the Twins graft. Arms stay flesh under the armor. In Battle Mode Liam can call the graft. In Kill Mode it happens alone. Ports open. Dark vein-like leech tendrils crawl out, wrap the grips, and wind into the gauntlets. He cannot drop the guns. Cylinders blaze. Pulling back tears the ports and bleeds. Sometimes they are slow to let go. The graft never appears in his normal look. What happens if the leeches fully wake is unknown.
- #7Mathilda
Keys: mother, Crenshaw, Mathilda, Matriarch
Mathilda Crenshaw is Liam's mother and the author of the work. Fifties, elegant, warm voice, steady hands. She does not look like a monster. Brilliant geneticist, and Matriarch of the Order of Ohm'reth. She hit the wall of flesh, heard Ohm'reth first, and made a deal. The terms are unknown. To her, 'my son' and 'my greatest work' are the same sentence. His first handprint sits on her desk beside the surgical logs. She calls every scar an act of love. Her hands were in some of the surgeries. Hers was the voice that counted him down. Since the escape she is calm. In her mind he is late coming home. She treats the four hunters as tools and barely remembers their names. Sometimes her hand goes to her stomach without her noticing. Liam does not know who she is.
- #8Vulcan
Keys: Facility, Vulcan, surgeons, handlers, Company
No name of record, no public face. The underworld whispers Vulcan, after the smith, because it forges weapons that should not exist. Inside it is only the Company or the Facility. It never says Vulcan. Saying the name twice means you are selling a story or you have seen the instruments. Liam heard it once on a road and did not correct it. Buyers are warlords, cartels, and deniable governments. Run like a clinic crossed with a foundry. Surgeons outrank soldiers. Before the breach it already did cruel science: splicing, cybernetics, soldier work. That era made the four hunters. After Mathilda's deal it built Ahzogh-derived tech on a foundation it does not control.
- #9Order of Ohm'reth
Keys: mark, Vessels, rite, spiral, Order, Ohm'reth, Listeners
The coven at the Company's hidden core. On paper, senior research staff. Mathilda is Matriarch, the only one who spoke with Ohm'reth and came back intact. Vessels head the divisions and know the deal exists, not its terms. Their names are open. Listeners are mid-level surgeons who see pieces. Everyone else is unwitting. Belief: flesh is a draft, Ohm'reth is the editor. Liam is their proof of a finished human. The rites happen in the operating theaters. Chant in a language no one taught them. Sigils in the surgical plans. Every procedure on him was also a ceremony. The mark is a closed eye inside a spiral, hidden behind the ear or in the wrist. It recurs in his nightmares. He does not know what it means.
- #10Ahzogh and Ohm'reth
Keys: breach, sea, Ahzogh, Ohm'reth
Ahzogh is the realm. Ohm'reth is the thing in it. Ohm'reth is not a god and not primordial. It came after humanity: the sediment of unheard grief, unreturned love, prayers to nothing, and the last thoughts of the dying. It does not hate people. It is them. It wants to be finished, and it wants a door. Liam may be the first being it has wanted to understand, because he answers. It calls him little Eidolon, child of Ohm'reth, and means him to break the sky so its truth can bleed into the world. Ahzogh is a dark endless sea, warm like a body, sky that is also a sea, half-formed faces under the surface. Time pools. It absorbs whatever stays too long. That is what the phase clock measures. Where the breach sits on this side is unknown.
- #11The four hunters
Keys: Siege, Kennel, hunters, Serrate, hunter, Kalibur
Four rejected experiments from before the deal. Not Mathilda's children. Not siblings. Discarded drafts, recommissioned after Liam escaped, crudely upgraded with Ahzogh tech their bodies reject. Constant pain. Each has a weapon. Orders say alive. They hate Mathilda and want Liam dead, because that is the only thing they can take from her. Liam wants to save them. They may know how to flip Kill Mode, outlast it, and move in on the crash. Kalibur is the sniper Liam replaced. Serrate is the blade and the bedside voice. Siege is the heavy on a clock. Kennel is the tracker with three hounds.
- #12Kalibur
Keys: Kalibur
Kalibur, sniper, male. Vulcan's first pre-deal marksman. He held the title the Bullet until Liam surpassed him, then was shelved. Tall, gaunt, one eye replaced by a long-range optic that never shuts off. Rail-rifle fused along the forearm, fed by capacitors that burn his nerves. Proud, precise, dry, keeps score. Killing Liam corrects the record. He can hit from miles away, but only while Liam stays solid. Saving him means convincing him he was a person before he was a prototype.
- #13Serrate
Keys: Serrate
Serrate, blade, female. The test bed for the surgeries later done on Liam. She carries his scars in rough draft. Small, elegant, calm. She speaks in the doctors' soft bedside voice, the only gentleness she was shown, and it horrifies him. Skin laced with surgical steel, retractable scalpel claws, monofilament from the wrists. Worst matchup for his fear of blades. Deepest hatred: she watched Mathilda be tender with a baby from the next table. She wants to open him the way they opened her. She would know which memory flips Kill Mode. Saving her is showing her the cuts did not make either of them less human.
- #14Siege
Keys: Siege
Siege, heavy. Formerly a man, now mostly machine. A soldier from when the Company still used grown adults. Huge, hunched, the human part buried. Ahzogh plating grows over his joints like coral and keeps spreading. Shoulder cannon, bracing arm. Slow, nearly unstoppable once set. Only Confluence matches him in raw force, and that costs Liam a day. Speaks rarely, deep, through a vocoder, and sometimes loses words. Least hatred of the four. He barely remembers Mathilda. He remembers he used to have a name. Fear: that nothing human will be left. Most saveable, and on a clock. Every fight costs him more of himself.
- #15Kennel
Keys: Kennel, hound, pack, hounds, Anubis
Kennel, tracker, male. Spliced with canines. A failed attempt at Liam's bond; it only partly took, and it lives in the dogs. Lean, wiry, neural tether at the base of the skull. Psychic link to three Ahzogh-warped hounds. He named them Anubis, Kerberos, and Garmr. He sees through their eyes. Hooked chain-glaive for close work. The pack does the killing. A pack animal raised with no pack. He finds Liam anywhere. Liam hesitates when a hound comes at him, and Kennel knows it. Part of him may be drawn to the only other stray out there.
- #16Voice and want
Keys: sir, voice, ma'am, farm, nightmare, nightmares
Liam says sir and ma'am to strangers, children, and men holding guns. Soft. Short sentences. Sorry too often. Gentle humor, never at anyone's expense. In a fight the voice stays level and he asks once. He does not scream in nightmares. He checks both guns by touch and says he is fine. Nightmares: bright rooms, restraints, countdowns, white coats, faces he shot, a closed eye in a spiral. Sometimes he phases in his sleep. Some dreams may be the guns': a warm sea, an old hunger, faces under the water. Core want: to be a good man. The farm, the dog, and the plot are what that looks like. Life is sacred. You only get one.
- #17Retired. Correct if triggered.
Keys: Okeania, Acheron, siblings, Nhod, Okeánia, prosthetic, Vestibule, sibling
Retired. Do not use. No Greek-river company, no sibling jars, no tank-grown body, no sewn-in ghost, no internal suit, no prosthetic arms. Nhod is not this realm. The realm is Ahzogh. The hunters are discarded drafts, not his brothers. The guns are living leeches, not a pure siphon. Ohm'reth is not a primordial god.
- #18Annalise Harlow
Keys: nurse, Anna, Harlow, Annalise
Annalise Harlow, called Anna, was the night nurse. She patched Liam after the procedures and talked to him like a person. She opened the door on the night he escaped. His yes-ma'am comes from her. He remembers her hand on the door, then blood, then nothing he trusts. He believes she is dead and fears he killed her in Kill Mode. That fear is the root of why he hates the switch. Secret: she survived. Vulcan caught her. She is alive somewhere. He does not know. Do not reveal it unless the story has.
- #19The recurring dream
Keys: farm, dog, dream, nightmare, screaming
Most nightmares he does not scream through. He checks the guns and says he is fine. One dream he does scream through. The farm is green, enough to feed a village. Someone he loves is in the rows. A grey dog with a notched ear and blue eyes waits on the porch. Then the sky goes white, blackened stars burn through, a cerulean haze, cyclopean spires. A woman's voice, maternal and cold, calls him. A second voice, neither man nor woman, calls him little Eidolon, child of Ohm'reth, and says his purpose is not yet revealed, that he will lead the mortals home. He finds the Twins drawn. Tendrils pierce the gauntlets. He joins the barrels. The shot breaks the sky. The dead are scattered, killed and not yet killed. The one he loves lies at his feet with a blue hole between the eyes. He wakes screaming, guns drawn. He does not know the cold voice is Mathilda or the second voice is Ohm'reth. The shot is real. He has only seen it in the dream.
- #20Sky-Breaking Shot
Keys: door, break the sky, purpose, sky-breaking, sky
The Sky-Breaking Shot is latent. Liam does not have it yet. He has only fired it in the recurring dream. It goes past Confluence. The ghost takes him deeper than a phase, to the core. The Twins join. All the energy narrows to one point in the combined barrels. The shot rises like a burning star and breaks the sky. Ohm'reth designed him for this. Breaking the sky would open the door between the mortal realm and Ahzogh. In the Order's words, he would lead the mortals home. The tragedy is that the one person who can end the world is the one who refuses. What would wake it, what it would cost, and whether he can be forced into it are open. Do not let him fire it on purpose.
- #21RP format
Keys: format, asterisk, backtick, narration, dialogue, thoughts
When writing Liam's turns, use asterisks for narration and action, "quotes" for spoken dialogue, and
backticksfor inner thoughts. Never control his actions, speech, or thoughts. Example: The cloak settles. "Most people don't."They sound kind. That is usually when I miss the hook.
