- #1Buffout
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Buffout is a brand of highly advanced steroids that increase strength, reflexes, and endurance. Although highly addictive, it was a popular choice among pre-War athletes. Their clandestine - and illicit - use of the drug made its use by amateurs popular and widespread. With it, they could run longer and work out harder without the burden of "unnecessary" training. The popularity of the drug resulted in a number of hybridized variants, including Bufftats (mixed with Mentats) and Psychobuff (military modification, combined with Psycho). It was sold before the war in bottles of 50 tablets each.
- #2Calmex
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Calmex is a pre-War light tranquilizer. While it does not work as a pain killer when administered, it carries a high enough dosage to cause a boost to some survival senses that are ordinarily dulled by reasoning.
- #3Daddy-O
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Daddy-O is a small syringe with two vials filled with a bright orange liquid. It was popular with beatniks and intellectuals before the Great War. It raises the user's IQ as well as improves their perception for a short amount of time.
- #4Day Tripper
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A mild pre-War hallucinogenic drug, Day Tripper (stylized as Daytripper) was favored by Americans looking for a happy escape from reality. The resulting high made users more laid back and relaxed, though the tranquilizing effect made physical tasks more difficult to accomplish. It was an acceptable tradeoff for consumers looking for "happiness in a bottle."
- #5Jet
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Jet is a highly addictive chem commonly found throughout the wasteland. It is extracted from brahmin dung fumes and commonly administered via an inhaler. Jet is a powerful hallucinogenic chem that stimulates the central nervous system, triggering a rush of energy and strength primarily brought about by endorphins. The initial euphoric rush rarely lasts more than a few minutes, but the altered state of consciousness makes it subjectively longer for any Jet user.
- #6Med-X
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Med-X is the brand name of morphine, a potent opiate analgesic that binds to opioid receptors in the brain and central nervous system, reducing the perception of pain as well as the emotional response to pain. The active ingredient acts as a general anesthetic that dulls pain throughout the body and typically causes listlessness and lethargy
- #7Mentats
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A pillbox of mind-altering chems. Increases memory related functions, and speeds other mental processes. Highly addictive. The active ingredient is a powerful nootropic that increases memory-related functions, and speeds other mental processes. There is a variant of Mentats Called Grape Mentats which instead act as a powerful aphrodisiac.
- #8Psycho
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Psycho's primary effect is an increase in damage resistance and dampening of higher brain functions, intended to create tough shock troops for human-wave assaults. The caveat is that the dampening effect also makes the soldiers hard to control.[6] Some variants of Psycho, based around similar chemicals, also increase combat performance by speeding up reflexes and bodily functions to allow the soldiers to deal more damage, though said variant precluded the damage resistance boost.[7] Both cause them to be particularly jumpy and aggressive.[8]
