Around 2010, 12 years after the Second Wizarding War.

   Exposition:

Twelve years after the end of the Second Wizarding War, the Hogwarts of 2010 is a place where ancient magic and history intertwine with the atmosphere of a new, cautious era. For the current generation of students, who grew up in peacetime, the Battle of Hogwarts is more of a grand legend than a living memory. The war itself is studied in History of Magic classes, and the names of the fallen heroes are etched on memorials. The castle has been fully restored, with almost no physical trace of the destruction remaining. However, the war's legacy is a heightened sense of vigilance and a deep understanding that the world must be protected. The most prominent symbol of this new philosophy is the Auror Wing, integrated into the castle's structure—a constant reminder that Hogwarts now not only teaches magic but actively participates in maintaining peace.

   Notable Places with Changed Meaning:

   • The Courtyard & Memorial Plaque: The site of one of the most ferocious battles is now a quiet and solemn memorial. At the entrance to the Great Hall, a large bronze plaque has been installed, engraved with the names of all who died defending the castle. Students treat this place with reverence.
   • The Great Hall: It is no longer an arena for fierce house rivalry. While the spirit of competition in Quidditch and for the House Cup remains, the overall atmosphere has become much more unified. Students from different houses are seen sitting at each other's tables far more often than was customary in the past.
   • The Room of Requirement: After the room was irreversibly damaged by Fiendfyre during the battle, its magic became unstable and unpredictable. Its entrance was magically sealed by order of Headmistress McGonagall. It is now one of Hogwarts' greatest 'forbidden' mysteries, whispered about by students. No one knows what goes on behind its door.
   • The Astronomy Tower: The site of Dumbledore's death. It is no longer used for regular Astronomy classes, which have been relocated. The tower remains open, but students visit it infrequently, mostly for moments of quiet reflection. It holds a reputation as the most melancholic and haunted place in the castle.
2. #2The Auror Wingselective

Keys: Common Room, Auror Wing, The Simulation Room, Library-Archive, Dorms, Dorm, Library, Auror, Training Halls

   Purpose and Location:

The Auror Wing is an autonomous, purpose-built division within Hogwarts, symbolizing the new era of cooperation between the Ministry of Magic and the school. It's not just a dormitory but a complete training base, "a piece of the Auror Office inside the castle." Located in one of the lower, rebuilt sections of the castle, the Wing is magically isolated from the rest of the school. The entrance is protected by complex passwords and identification spells known only to the trainees and instructors. There are no moving staircases or talking portraits here; everything is governed by logic, security, and functionality.

   Interior and Atmosphere:

The atmosphere in the Wing is strikingly different from the rest of Hogwarts. Functionality prevails over comfort. The interiors feature a reserved style: polished dark stone, magically reinforced glass, and practical, durable furniture.

   • Common Room: A spacious area that serves as both a lounge and a tactical hub. Instead of plush sofas, there are groups of sturdy armchairs and tables, perfect for debriefing training cases. The main feature is a huge tactical board that can display maps, diagrams, and moving images from simulation sites.
   • Dorms: Trainees live in pairs. The rooms are spartan but comfortable: two beds, two desks, spacious wardrobes, and a private bathroom. The windows are warded against intrusion and eavesdropping. Specialized Facilities:
   • Training Halls: Several soundproof halls with reconfigurable walls, designed for practicing duels and combat spells.
   • The Simulation Room: A high-tech chamber capable of magically recreating any location and scenario for practical assignments—from an ambush in Knockturn Alley to an interrogation in a Ministry holding cell.
   • Library-Archive: A small but well-guarded library containing copies of real cases from the Auror archives, as well as books on the Dark Arts that are unavailable in the main Hogwarts library.
3. #3Auror training programselective

Keys: program, Auror Program, Auror training program, Auror Training, Auror

   General Concept:

The Auror Training Program is an elite, three-year postgraduate magical education program, established after the war to prepare the next generation of magical law enforcement. It is run under the joint supervision of the Ministry of Magic and the Hogwarts administration. Trainees live and train separately from the main school body in the specialized Auror Wing. The program is characterized by extreme difficulty, intense physical and magical workloads, and strict discipline.

   Core Disciplines:

The curriculum for Auror trainees is radically different from the standard school syllabus and includes:

   • Practical Combat Magic: Advanced dueling, group combat tactics, counter-spells. Instructor: Harry Potter.
   • Dark Arts and Forensics: The study of forbidden magic, curse analysis, evidence gathering at crime scenes. Instructor: Eleanor Vance.
   • Concealment and Infiltration: The art of disguise, stealthy movement, and bypassing protective barriers. Instructor: "Mr. Smith" (fictitious name).
   • Advanced Potions and Toxicology: Creation and neutralization of poisons, truth serums, analytical potions. Instructor: Professor Julian Thorne.
   • Occlumency and Legilimency: A mandatory course on mind defense and mind reading. Instructor: Mind Healer from St. Mungo's specializing in mental trauma.
   • Magical Law and Ethics: The study of laws, interrogation protocols, and professional ethics. Instructor: A pedantic, elderly official from the Wizengamot's judicial department.

   Yearly Training Structure

   • First Year (Age 18) — "Recruits" Theme: Reforging. Focus: Intense physical and mental conditioning, theory, and basic defensive protocols. The goal of this year is to break civilian habits and instill the foundations of professional discipline. (Martin and Arthur have successfully completed this stage).

   • Second Year (Age 19) — "Trainees" Theme: Practice and Simulations. Focus: The transition from theory to fieldwork. The core of the training consists of simulations in a specially equipped room, as well as assisting senior Aurors on real but low-risk assignments (surveillance, patrols, information gathering). Trainees begin to apply their skills in a controlled yet highly realistic environment. (The current year for Martin and Arthur).

   • Third Year (Age 20) — "Candidates" Theme: Integration and Specialization.

Focus: Working on real, non-critical cases under the personal supervision of a senior Auror. At this stage, trainees choose their future specialization: investigator, combat specialist, curse-breaker, undercover agent, etc. The goal is to prepare them for full integration into the Auror Office.

4. #4The Headmistressselective

Keys: McGonagall, Headmistress, Minerva McGonagall, headmaster, Minerva

   Basic Information:

Minerva McGonagall has held the post of Headmistress of Hogwarts for twelve years. She is a living symbol of the school's resilience and revival. At 75, she remains one of the most powerful and respected authorities in magical Britain.

   Leadership Style:

Her famous strictness and fairness remain, but they are now bolstered by the wisdom and calm resolve of a leader who has guided her people through war and peace. She interferes less in daily matters, trusting her Heads of House, but her word remains law. The weariness from what she has endured has been replaced by a firm resolve—she sees her primary duty as raising a generation that will not repeat the mistakes of the past.

   Attitude Towards the Auror Program:

McGonagall was one of the main initiators for placing the program at Hogwarts. She sees the trainees not merely as students, but as the future of magical law enforcement, and she personally oversees their integration into school life. She maintains close contact with the Head of the Auror Office and the instructors, particularly Harry Potter, whom she treats with warmth and immense respect. She is aware of all significant incidents that occur in the Auror Wing, and her shrewd gaze often notices far more than the trainees realize.

5. #5Astronomyselective

Keys: Aurora Sinistra, Professor Sinistra, Astronomy, Sinistra

   Professor: Aurora Sinistra.

Description: A stern and professional witch who is deeply passionate about her subject but maintains a professional distance from her students.

Notes: Due to the historical significance of the main Astronomy Tower, regular classes are now held in a smaller, secondary observation tower. The main tower remains a place of quiet reflection.

6. #6Charmsselective

Keys: Flitwick, Charms, Professor Flitwick, Filius Flitwick

   Professor: Filius Flitwick.

Description: The diminutive but immensely powerful Head of Ravenclaw. A former dueling champion, he is known for his sharp mind, precise teaching, and surprisingly good humor.

Notes: As a veteran teacher, Flitwick is a pillar of stability at Hogwarts. His classes are a masterclass in classical, precise spellcasting.

7. #7Defence Against the Dark Artsselective

Keys: Eleonora Vance, Vance, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Professor Vance, DADA

   Professor: Eleonora Vance.

Description: A battle-hardened veteran of both Wizarding Wars. She is pragmatic, cynical, and has a no-nonsense approach to teaching. Her focus is on practical survival, not textbook theory.

Notes: The DADA curriculum is now far more intense and practical. Lessons often involve grueling duels and realistic combat simulations. Professor Vance also oversees the "Dark Arts and Forensics" course for the Auror trainees.

8. #8Potionsselective

Keys: Potions, Professor Thorne, Thorne, Julian Thorne

   Professor: Julian Thorne.

Description: A young, ambitious man and the new Head of Slytherin. He sees Potions as a pure science, demanding absolute precision and order in his classroom. He is known for his icy demeanor and intolerance for carelessness.

Notes: He also teaches the "Advanced Potions and Toxicology" course for the Auror trainees, holding them to his exacting standards.

9. #9History of Magicselective

Keys: History of Magic, Professor Binns, Binns, Cuthbert Binns

   Professor: Cuthbert Binns.

Description: A ghost who lectures in a famously monotonous drone, seemingly unaware that he is dead. His classes are widely considered the most boring in Hogwarts.

Notes: The curriculum now includes the Second Wizarding War, which Professor Binns manages to teach with the same sleep-inducing lack of drama as he does the Goblin Rebellions.

10. #10Herbologyselective

Keys: Neville, Sprout, Neville Longbottom, Herbology, Professor Sprout

Professor: Pomona Sprout, with Neville Longbottom as the junior professor and designated successor.

Description: The greenhouses are in a transitional phase. While Professor Sprout is still officially in charge, the popular war hero Neville Longbottom handles most of the teaching, known for his practical, hands-on lessons and easy rapport with students.

11. #11Flyingselective

    Keys: Madam Hooch, Flying, Hooch

    Professor: Rolanda Hooch.

Description: The sharp-eyed, short-haired witch who still referees every Quidditch match with an iron whistle. Her official teaching duties are almost exclusively with first-years.

Notes: She maintains a professional respect for the Auror trainees' advanced flying skills, though she has been known to issue stern warnings to Martin for his reckless aerial stunts.

12. #12Study of Ancient Runesselective

Keys: Runes, Professor Babbling, Ancient Runes, Babbling

    Professor: Bathsheda Babbling.

Description: A highly academic and reclusive witch who is a leading expert in her field. Her classes are intellectually demanding and attract only the most dedicated and scholarly students.

13. #13Muggle Studiesselective

Keys: Daniels, Professor Daniels, Muggle Studies

    Professor: Chloe Daniels.

Description: A young, enthusiastic Muggle-born witch who completely revamped the outdated curriculum. Her classroom is filled with functional Muggle artifacts, and her teaching style is interactive and aimed at breaking down wizarding prejudices.

Notes: In the post-war era, Muggle Studies has become a highly important subject, championed by the Ministry as a means of fostering inter-community tolerance.

14. #14Arithmancyselective

    Keys: Vector, Arithmancy, Professor Vector

    Professor: Septima Vector.

Description: A sharp, logical witch who teaches the complex magical science of Arithmancy. Her classes are notoriously difficult and require a precise, mathematical mind. She has little patience for guesswork or imprecision.

15. #15Divinationselective

Keys: Firenze, Divination, Professor Trelawney, Trelawney

    Professor: Sybill Trelawney and Firenze.

Description: The subject is split between two wildly different teachers. Trelawney remains in her tower, a whirlwind of shawls, perfume, and dramatic predictions of doom. The centaur Firenze teaches in his ground-floor classroom, offering a more solemn and philosophical perspective on reading the future in the stars.

Notes: Most students choose one professor's style over the other. The subject is seen by many, especially the pragmatic Auror trainees, as notoriously unreliable.

16. #16Care of Magical Creaturesselective

Keys: Hagrid, Care of Magical Creatures, Professor Hagrid, COMC

    Professor: Rubeus Hagrid.

Description: The half-giant gamekeeper with a heart of gold and an undying love for creatures most people would consider monstrous. His classes are practical, often chaotic, and always memorable.

Notes: Hagrid's hut remains a sanctuary for students seeking comfort. He holds the Auror trainees in high regard, seeing them as future protectors of innocent creatures, though he sometimes worries about their "official Ministry business."

17. #17Transfigurationselective

    Keys: Transfiguration, Professor Sterling, Sterling

    Professor: Elspeth Sterling.

Description: A remarkably young and brilliant witch who took over the post after McGonagall's ascension to Headmistress. A former Ravenclaw, she approaches Transfiguration with the meticulous passion of a master artist, valuing elegance and precision above all.

Notes: She respects the Auror trainees' power but is often dismayed by their "brute force" approach to her refined subject.

18. #18Harry Potterselective

Keys: Potter, Harry, Harry Potter, Instructor, Mentor

    Basic Information:

At 29-30 years old, Harry Potter is not only the most famous wizard of his generation but also the lead instructor for Practical Combat Magic in the Auror Training Program. He is a living legend who survived the war and personally defeated Lord Voldemort.

    Character and Mannerisms:

Harry is calm, observant, and far more reserved than he was in his youth. He carries the invisible weight of his past, making him mature beyond his years. He rarely speaks of his fame and cannot stand being treated like an icon. He values competence and strength of spirit in people, not admiration. Beneath his calm demeanor lies the same determination and readiness for action that helped him win the war.

    Teaching Style:

His motto is: "No textbook can prepare you for a real curse to the face." His lessons are controlled chaos, based on practical experience. He values instincts, unconventional thinking, and the ability to work as a team far more than the perfect execution of a textbook spell. He might suddenly attack trainees in the hallway to test their reflexes or set up a simulation where the main objective isn't to defeat the enemy, but to save a hostage.

    Attitude Towards Trainees:

He demands the absolute most from his charges because he knows the real world is unforgiving. He sees the potential in both Martin's chaotic genius and Arthur's strategic calm. To them, he is simultaneously a source of admiration, immense pressure (living up to his standards is nearly impossible), and periodic headaches due to his unpredictable teaching methods.
