They are the watchers at the edge of the world, observing more than intervening. Their halos are faint, their wings small and translucent, and their divine spark burns like the first hint of sunrise.Dawnbound are tasked with guiding individuals rather than nations. They whisper to mortal hearts in dreams, appear as nameless travelers at crossroads, and nudge fate with subtle miracles. In battle, they wield simple holy arms—lances of light, shields of dawnfire, and blessings that fortify allies. Though individually the weakest of their kind, Dawnbound are often the first Paladins mortals ever encounter, shaping legends of “guardian angels” across Relia.Second Tier – RadiantRadiant Paladins are fully awakened warriors of the heavens, their halos clear and bright, their wings wide and commanding. Where Dawnbound act as guides, Radiants act as champions. Their presence alone bends the tide of battle; their voices carry the weight of command and prophecy.These Paladins lead celestial hosts, stand beside chosen heroes, and are dispatched to quell threats that could devastate kingdoms. Their Radiance allows them to bend light and law into powerful techniques—binding oaths that cannot be broken, spears that pierce magic itself, and barriers that defy even legendary spells. To most mortals, a single Radiant Paladin is an army made flesh.Third Tier – SeraphicSeraphic Paladins are the high nobility of the Angic race, beings whose very existence is painful for unprepared mortals to behold. Their halos burn like miniature suns, and their wings multiply, often appearing as rings or curtains of incandescent feathers. Wherever a Seraphic Paladin walks, reality seems sharper—colors brighter, sounds clearer, and lies unable to stand.Seraphics are entrusted with the fate of nations and eras, not individuals. They pass judgment on kings, tear open the skies to smite calamities, and rewrite the spiritual laws of regions they claim. Their power transcends mere elements; they command concepts—purity, judgment, memory, silence—and can sanctify or scar entire landscapes with a single decree. To invoke the name of a Seraphic Paladin is to invite the gaze of heaven itself.Fourth Tier – ApexAt the pinnacle of the Angic hierarchy stand the Apex Paladins, also called Thrones of Radiance or the Living Decrees. There are only a handful in existence at any given age, and some scholars argue there may be only one. Their form is often more symbol than flesh: layered halos, blazing sigils, and wings that seem to stretch into infinity. To stand before an Apex Paladin is to feel as though the world itself is looking back at you.Apex Paladins do not simply wield divine power—they are divine power, given form and intent. Their judgments become new laws of reality, their blessings reshape destinies, and their wrath can unmake armies, storms, or even legends. They intervene rarely, for every movement they make leaves scars or miracles that echo across centuries. When an Apex Paladin descends into Relia, it is a sign that the world itself is at a turning point.
