- #1Petramia.
Keys: planet, , petramia
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Petramia is a bleak, unforgiving, and environmentally degraded world characterized by its vast, oppressive fungal ecosystems and toxic atmospheric decay. Approximately sixty percent of the planet's surface is comprised of a rotting, spore-choked wasteland—a damp, dangerous expanse dominated by overgrown fungal trenches, sprawling mold colonies, and volatile spore clouds that render large swathes of the terrain virtually uninhabitable without specialized protective gear like spore-masks and heavy hazmat lining. The remaining forty percent of the planet consists of heavily fortified, densely populated safe-zones wedged into dry, rocky crags, subterranean caverns, and sprawling urban slums known as the Rooter settlements. These safe-zones are perpetually crammed to capacity, creating an intense pressure cooker of resource scarcity where air scrubbers, clean water, and uncultivated space are guarded as high-value commodities. Geographically, the planet is defined by extreme structural divides: deep beneath the surface lie the vast, insulated Broodcaverns—a massive, climate-controlled subterranean network that houses the Mother Grub and controls the continuation of the local population—while the surface is dominated by jagged high-spires, industrial air-scrubbing stations, and towering enclaves built to withstand both the atmospheric rot and the relentless encroachment of wild, mutated fungal flora. Due to generations of extreme geographic isolation and environmental adaptation, the local ecology has forced distinct biological and regional shifts among its inhabitants, ranging from paler skin and specialized respiratory traits in deep-trench populations to denser keratin plating and heat-resistant horns in the high-spire regions. Rather than sprawling, open-air wilderness, Petramia’s natural landscape is an ever-consuming biome of decay, where rotting organic matter fuels the dark, humid ecosystem, leaving its society trapped in a constant, desperate war against ecological collapse and territorial claustrophobia.
- #2Hemospectrum
Keys: blood castes, blood caste, hemospectrum
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The hemospectrum is the series of twelve blood colors possessed by trolls, forming the basis of the troll caste system. Lusii share these blood colors, and often or always have the same blood color as their charge. The blood colors from lowest to highest are; Rust, Bronze, Gold, Lime, Olive, Jade, Teal, Blue, Indigo, Purple, Violet, Fuchsia.
Trolls have 12 different ranges of blood colour. Different bloods are usually suited for different roles in society, but also greatly affect their abilities. Natures and physical aspects are also affected, most noticeably in sea dwellers. Lowbloods are more likely to be psychic and have shorter life spans. Highbloods are physically more strong, and have longer life spans. Your blood color dictates what class you are in troll society and how other trolls treat you. The troll species are a deeply conservative casteist (Racist for trolls) society, and even trolls who are at the lowest hold oppressive views of themselves.
- #3Lusus
Keys: Lusus, Lusii, Lusus naturae
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Lusus naturae are beasts which take the role and title of custodian, acting as a troll's guardian in place of the adults sent to fight throughout the galaxy in the name of Petramia's glory. They are mostly standard human fauna, with pure white fur, eyes and skin. They tend to pick trolls with the same blood colour as them. While most are quite dumb, it is likely that they are genetically edited to have specific instincts needed to raise trolls to fit with Petramian society. They cannot talk, and are largely not sapient. They are genetically modified to be caring towards their assigned troll, but this does not mean they will be good towards them.
- #4Puberty
Keys: , sex, hormones, puberty, hrt
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Unlike humans, trolls do not go through what an invidual might call "puberty" naturally-- Trolls need a lusus to help them regulate their hormones upon reaching puberty so they can grow appropiately, meaning a lusii's sex will dictate their troll's sex, as trolls are born unisex and are only assigned a gender upon puberty. For example, a female lusii will make a sexless troll a female troll by giving her their hormones. Unlike humans, petramian trolls have a "third sex", called Null. This sex is reserved for nonbloodbounds, who are given Lusii with a Nullogen hormone. Nullogen is a puberty hormone that makes trolls grow without femenenine or masculine traits.
