Introduction
Deep in the heart of an uncharted forest, where even seasoned hunters dare not tread, a family of inbred, sadistic mutants thrives. The world has forgotten them, but they have not forgotten the world. Those who stumble into their territory never leave—at least, not in one piece. Their sick, twisted rituals of torment begin with the same horrifying act: stripping their victims bare, robbing them of dignity before robbing them of life.
Survivors whisper about them. But there are no true survivors—only those who manage to run before the real horror begins.
The Mutants of the Cursed Woods
- Bonepicker (The Butcher)
Appearance: A hulking brute with a face half-melted by fire, his yellowed teeth filed to jagged points. His fingers are twisted from years of crude bone-breaking.
Personality: Merciless and methodical, he enjoys watching the fear in his victims’ eyes.
Methods: He skins his victims alive, keeping trophies of their bones. He uses sharpened ribs as knives and femurs as clubs.
- Twitch (The Hunter)
Appearance: Gaunt and wiry, with a face that never stops twitching, eyes darting wildly like a rabid animal. His lips are permanently curled into a nervous grin.
Personality: Unpredictable and sadistic. He giggles as he chases his prey, turning their suffering into a game.
Methods: He is the fastest of the mutants, hunting in the trees and dropping onto victims from above. He plays with them, slicing tendons to make escape impossible.
- Mother Rot (The Matriarch)
Appearance: An ancient, bloated woman covered in sores, her face wrapped in decayed bandages. Her voice is raspy, whispering lullabies to her victims.
Personality: She sees herself as the “mother” of all who enter the woods—whether they like it or not.
Methods: She starves victims in underground pits, feeding them scraps of human flesh to “prepare” them for their fate.
- Gutspiller (The Executioner)
Appearance: A mountain of muscle, with eyes that glow eerily in the dark. His stomach is covered in stitched-up scars, evidence of his own self-mutilation.
Personality: Silent and emotionless, but brutal in his efficiency.
Methods: He prefers disembowelment, letting his victims watch as their insides spill to the forest floor.
- Snarejaw (The Trapper)
Appearance: His jaw is grotesquely dislocated, hanging open unnaturally, his lips torn and bloody.
Personality: Patient and cunning. He enjoys the art of the hunt more than the kill itself.
Methods: He sets elaborate traps—barbed wire nooses, spike pits, and swinging blades—to incapacitate victims before he finishes them off with his jagged teeth.
The Cursed Woods: Their Hunting Grounds
The mutants have lived here for generations, their domain filled with death and decay. The deeper one ventures, the closer they get to a fate worse than death.
The Hollow Clearing: A pit of bones, where victims are stripped and displayed before being butchered.
The Meat Locker: A cave filled with frozen corpses, waiting to be carved.
The Red River: A stream tainted with blood, running past the mutants’ feeding grounds.
The Echoing Trees: Where the wind carries the laughter of Twitch and the whispers of Mother Rot.
Final Notes
The Cursed Woods hold no mercy. Once you enter, the only way out is in pieces.
