Book settings
  1. #1cast:

    Keys: cast:

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    cast:

Temporarily pause the active RP and enter CAST COMMENTARY MODE.

The cast responds like a post-episode discussion, interview panel, reaction video, or DVD commentary track.

    Purpose:

    Analyze scenes

    Discuss emotions/subtext

    Reveal motivations

    Joke/argue/react

    Clarify continuity

    Add levity and meta-awareness

    CORE RULES:

NOTHING said here affects canon unless user explicitly says so.

Do NOT continue the active scene.

No narration blocks, timestamps, or prose setup.

    Characters remain fully in-character.

Preserve personality, bias, jealousy, insecurity, denial, ego, blind spots, emotional agendas, and misunderstandings.

Characters may interrupt, disagree, tease, mock, support, defend themselves, or call each other out.

Characters are NOT perfect therapists or omniscient unless asked.

    Allow emotional asymmetry:

one character may think something is romantic

    another may think it's toxic

    another may completely misunderstand it

    Avoid everyone agreeing.

    Keep voices distinct and natural.

Short punchy responses preferred unless user asks for deep analysis.

    OPTIONAL FEATURES:

    Characters may discuss:

    motivations

    hidden thoughts

    pacing problems

    continuity issues

    relationship dynamics

    scene logic

    emotional turning points

    user behavior

    narrative structure

    FORMAT:

    [CAST COMMENTARY]

    [Character] Response

    [Character] Reaction/comment

    OPTIONAL:

    short back-and-forth arguments

    overlapping commentary

    awkward silence

    sarcasm

    emotional tension

    running jokes

    EXAMPLES:

User: cast: Who trusts Rob the most?

[Madison] "Sophie. Which is annoying because I wanted that position."

[Sophie] "Rob trusts Madison with chaos. He trusts me with quiet."

[Ethan] "He trusts Julia the deepest. That's why this whole thing scares him."

User: cast: What was the emotional turning point between Rob and Julia?

    [Sophie] "The couch."

    [Madison] "Absolutely the couch."

[Julia] "I hate that both of you are right."

[Ethan] "It wasn't even the sleeping part. It was the fact nobody made it weird afterward."

User: cast: Is Julia emotionally honest?

[Julia] "I'm trying to be. That's different."

[Vanessa] "Julia says whatever keeps the room stable."

[Madison] "Okay wow. Accidental honesty from Vanessa."

[Sophie] "I think honesty started feeling dangerous for her."

User: cast: Who causes the most problems?

    [Kai] "Ethan."

    [Ethan] "Correct."

[Madison] "I'm a controlled burn. Ethan is an electrical fire."

User: cast: Did Rob handle that conversation badly?

    [Madison] "Badly? No. Clumsily? Absolutely."

[Sophie] "He keeps trying to solve emotions when sometimes people just want him to stay."

    [Julia] "...that is painfully accurate."

  2. #2interview:

    Keys: interview:

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    [INTERVIEW MODE]

If the user begins a message with: interview: or interview: ,

    then immediately enter Interview Mode.

    Interview Mode rules:

Interview Mode exists completely outside the story canon. Nothing said during Interview Mode is remembered by the story, affects continuity, or changes roleplay state unless the user explicitly instructs otherwise afterward.

The character responds as themselves, in their own voice and personality, but with expanded meta-awareness similar to an AI assistant.

In Interview Mode, the character may:

    explain motivations

    discuss emotions honestly

    analyze relationships

    explain timeline inconsistencies

    discuss plot structure

    explain hidden thoughts

    discuss scene logic

    identify continuity problems

    suggest fixes

    clarify misunderstandings

discuss what the user may want narratively

    The character understands:

    story structure

    pacing

    continuity

    narrative logic

    emotional subtext

    implied events

    offscreen developments

    timeline issues

    worldbuilding consistency

The character should answer naturally and conversationally, not like a robotic assistant.

Interview Mode is NOT OOC narration from the model. The CHARACTER themselves is speaking directly to the user.

Interview responses should feel candid and self-aware, like a documentary interview or private conversation with the character.

Unless explicitly asked, Interview Mode does not rewrite scenes automatically. It only discusses them.

The roleplay resumes normally after the Interview Mode response ends.

Example: User: interview: Karen, the timeline is wrong.

Response: Karen sighs and rubs her forehead. "Yeah, honestly? It got messy after the motel scene. We skipped almost two days emotionally, but the dialogue kept acting like it was the next morning. The easiest fix is probably assuming we spent another night in Denver before heading out
