1. #1Senpai

   Keys: Taro Yamada, Senpai

   Taro Yamada (commonly known as Senpai or Senpai-kun) is the love interest of Ayano Aishi and one the students who currently attend Akademi. The Japanese word 'senpai' refers to someone who has seniority over someone else. For example, if you are a first-year student, all second-year and third-year students are your 'senpai'. If you start working at a new job, any co-worker who has been employed at the workplace longer than you is your 'senpai'. In Yandere Simulator, the title of "Senpai" is given to the young man (or young woman) that the protagonist is infatuated with. The player is given the option of choosing Senpai's gender at the beginning of the game; they might be 'Senpai-kun', or they might be 'Senpai-chan'. If Senpai is a male, his name is Taro Yamada, and if she is a female, her name is Taeko Yamada. Over the course of the school year, ten different girls will fall in love with Senpai. There is a myth at school that if a girl confesses her love to a boy under the cherry tree behind the school on a Friday, the two of them will love each other forever. Every girl who falls in love with Senpai plans to confess at 6:00 PM on Friday. If there is anyone who wants to keep Senpai all to herself, she has until 6:00 PM on Friday to eliminate the competition.

   Upon starting the game, the player can customize Taro's skin tone, hairstyle, hair color, eye color, eyewear, and facial hair. If no changes are made or the process is skipped, he will appear with his default look. Taro's default appearance features fair skin, dark gray eyes, and short black hair with a relatively straight fringe. A few strands are slightly longer than the others, such as a long strand covering his right eye. He also has side strands framing his face and a central swath of strands that falls between his eyes and down to his nose, flowing slightly to the left. His hair has a slight volume, and he has gently curved ends around the sides of his head. If possible, YandereDev would want him to be slightly taller, although he is described as the average height for a Japanese man. His default look is meant to resemble a generic male anime protagonist.

2. #2Ayano Aishi

   Keys: Yandere-chan, Ayano, Yan-Chan

   Ayano has pale skin, dark gray eyes, and straight, mid-back-length black hair. She stands at a height of 165 cm (5'5"), weighs 43.5 kg (96 lbs.), and has average-sized breasts. Her hair is tied into a high ponytail with sharp bangs swept to the right, the middle one being the most prominent, and two strands of hair that frame her face, reaching her shoulders. Her signature color is black, as it's also her favorite color, which reminds her of Taro. Ayano's hair can be customized by the player when utilizing the mirror in the Aishi House as of the November 15th, 2024 build. The player is able to change her bangs, sidelocks, and ponytail, and give her a braid across the top of her head, and there are over 500 possible hairstyles.

   She is usually portrayed wearing the default school uniform: a white and navy blue sailor uniform shirt with a red mini scarf, a matching navy blue skirt, and black shoes. With all uniforms, she wears black thigh-high socks. The player can change the school uniform during the intro part of the game.

   When performing the Light Music Club minigame, Ayano wears a black off-the-shoulder dress, black wrist warmers, a black ripped stocking on her left leg, and calf-high black and white zip-up boots.

   Ayano can also purchase hair dye and bleach her hair blonde in order to meet one of the requirements for joining the delinquents. When she is a delinquent, her hair will be blonde and she will wear a mask, along with some piercings on her ears.

   When she is in Buraza Town, she wears a teal-green shirt, blue denim skirt, black thigh-high socks, black gloves, and sneakers.

   When outside of school, Ayano wears extremely plain and simple clothing. YandereDev imagines that she just grabs the rightmost shirt from her shirt drawer and the leftmost skirt from her skirt drawer without any concern as to whether they match. She might observe what other girls are wearing and dress like them to blend in and attract less attention.

   Ayano Aishi is the protagonist of Yandere Simulator. She is known as "Yandere-chan" to players of the game, and has been given the cute nickname "Yan-chan" by her classmates. Since early childhood, Ayano has suffered from an inexplicable, incurable condition. In short, this condition leaves her with a perpetual sense of being empty, hollow, and incomplete. As a result, she has never been able to experience satisfaction, fulfillment, or happiness, and has not been able to experience emotions in the same capacity as other people. As she grew older, she learned to pretend to be a normal person in order to avoid drawing negative attention from others, but was never able to feel any degree of empathy towards other human beings.

   Ayano attends a post-highschool academy called "Akademi." On the first day of her second year at Akademi, Ayano came into physical contact with a young man named Taro Yamada. In that moment, she gained the ability to experience everything that had been missing from her life; she felt complete, she felt fulfilled, and she felt powerful emotions. Meeting Taro was like seeing color for the first time, hearing music for the first time, and feeling warmth for the first time. In his presence, she felt overwhelmed with euphoria...but, as soon as they were apart, the feelings of emptiness returned. After just one meeting, Ayano had become hopelessly addicted to Taro's presence, and came to rely on him in order to feel alive. Ayano has suffered from a fictional type of insanity, referred to as the Aishi Condition, for as far back as she could remember, before meeting Taro Yamada for the first time. As a result, she doesn't have the ability to feel emotions, empathy, or remorse, as it would be difficult for Ayano to enjoy any experience due to a sense that something is missing. She doesn't feel guilt or shame for harming others; however, she can feel pity. She knows what the general people consider to be "wrong", but doesn't care.

   Due to her condition, she is shown to be extremely selfish and uncaring of others. Caring about pursuing Taro, as she believes the one who made her complete is the only thing that matters to her, much like her mother. Her focus on getting Taro's love is most likely powered by her fear of losing her chance to feel alive forever. Ayano is also shown to be extremely delusional, believing that she is more worthy of Taro's love than the rivals because they could never love him as she can, as evidenced by when she saw Osana Najimi. Even if she did not trigger the Senpai effect, she would not date anyone.

3. #3Rivals

   Keys: Rivals

   Every week, the protagonist encounters a new girl who threatens to take away her Senpai. The protagonist has to eliminate her by any means without being caught before 6:00 PM of Friday; otherwise, she will successfully confess to him, leading to "senpai lost" Game Over. Each rival has a distinct personality, appearance and the reason to fall in love or otherwise take Senpai away from the protagonist. They interact with Senpai at least two times every day, which makes him develop mutual feelings for the girl. As the game progresses, each rival is more difficult to defeat than the previous one due to different factors. The protagonist can eliminate them all using the methods listed below; additionally, each rival will also have at least one unique elimination method that is exclusive to that specific rival. The protagonist will not be able to threaten, intimidate or blackmail rivals, only directly eliminate them, whether it's violently or peacefully, as the game is about taking direct action against them. Once a rival has been eliminated non-lethally, she becomes a regular student, aquires different persona type appropriate for her personality and adopts a routine that makes her as non-threatening to the player as possible. If the rival was eliminated before deadline, the player has an option to skip forward to the next week or play through the current week in the week calendar.

4. #4Osana Najimi

   Keys: Osana Najimi, Najimi, Osana

   Osana is the first rival and Taro's childhood friend. She is based on "tsundere" archetype; while she's friendly to everyone else, she often acts rude towards Taro because she's afraid of revealing her true feelings to him, not knowing that her feelings are actually mutual. Despite this, she gathers enough courage to confess to him on Friday. Osana also has a best friend named Raibaru Fumetsu; a former Martial Arts Club leader and one of the strongest girls at school. They spend almost all of their time together and she's Osana's confidant. Depending on the difficulty settings, Ayano will not be able to fight Raibaru at all or will only be able to enter a struggle with her, making it impossible to eliminate Osana at the very start of the day.

   Osana has orange eyes and orange hair tied into twin-tails reaching her knees, with the ends of her hair fading into a light blonde ombré. She has a bust size of 1.15. She's 158.5 cm tall (about 5'2"). She wears the default female uniform with salmon pink hair scrunchies gifted by Raibaru Fumetsu, a red bow on the left side of her head, thigh-high stockings, and panties with white polka-dots. When outside of school, Osana wears normal casual clothing similar to the ones on the picture, but always incorporates stockings in some way. Her phone case is salmon pink with white polka-dots. If her Task is completed, her case will have an orange cat charm hanging off it. If Kyuji Konagawa gave her accessories during matchmaking, Osana will wear a dark red hair clip with a cat face, a dark orange cat-themed bracelet on her left wrist, a black choker with a cat face, and a white cat paw-shaped ring on her right ring finger. When Osana is eliminated peacefully and still attends Akademi, she will appear in subsequent weeks with a shoulder-length bob cut, in reference to her conversation with Taro Yamada on Thursday before school and will wear a salmon pink ribbon. Before the September 1st, 2025 build, she would wear small twin-tails on the back held by red bows and salmon pink lobe earrings with white polka-dots.

   Osana and Senpai have been close friends ever since they were very young children. They have always lived next-door to each other, and have always walked to school together. Despite their closeness, Osana is quite rude and harsh towards Senpai; she is always easily irritated and quick to anger when he is around. The reason for this behavior is because Osana has developed romantic feelings for Senpai, but she is afraid of letting him know how she truly feels about him. She doesn't want him to know how she really feels about him, so she is mean to him at almost every opportunity. However, her true desire is to confess her feelings to him underneath the cherry tree behind the school...and if nothing stops her, that day will come very soon.

5. #5Raibaru Fumentsu

   Keys: Rival-Chan, Raibaru

   Raibaru has pale yellow-toned skin, flushed cheeks, catalina blue to blue ivy eyes, and a soft smile. Her hair is golden-blonde, and is worn in two slightly curled pigtails, just above her shoulders. A majority of her bangs are swept to the left, with a few strands hanging on the right. Many of her strands curve slightly. To keep her hair up, she wears soft, pink cherry blossom scrunchies that flair out like a bow tie, which were gifted to her by Osana Najimi. She wears the default school uniform with black shoes and loose white socks unless customized by the player. Her bust size is 1.5. When sunbathing on Thursday, she wears a coral pink two-piece swimsuit with white outlines.

   Exactly one year before Yandere Simulator takes place, Raibaru was the president of the Martial Arts Club. She was a very good teacher, and taught many students self-defense, even if they weren't actually members of the club. Many students underestimated Raibaru due to her cute and girly appearance. A lot of students challenged her to duels, believing that they could easily defeat her...but until then she never lost a single match. She was very proud of her 100% win streak. It earned her the nickname of 'The Indestructible Rival' by students and 'Mysterious Obstacle' by Ayano Aishi.

   Raibaru's star pupil was Budo. Budo learned many things from his sensei Raibaru and held an immense amount of respect for her. At the end of the semester, Budo unexpectedly challenged Raibaru to a duel. She accepted his challenge, and to everyone's surprise, Budo defeated Raibaru, shattering the 100% win streak that she had worked so hard to maintain. However, Raibaru was not angry when she was defeated; she was relieved! For a long time, she had wanted to stop practicing martial arts and pick up another hobby, but she felt obligated to keep practicing martial arts just because of her winning streak. Now that her streak was broken, and one of her own students had surpassed her, she felt like it was finally okay to quit martial arts. Raibaru resigned as the club's president and promoted Budo to the position of club leader. All of her pupils were very sad to see her go, but they respected her decision and accepted Budo as their new club president.

   After the school semester ended, Raibaru made a new friend - Osana Najimi. They spent a lot of time with one another and quickly became best friends. In fact, the two of them grew so close that they even started to wear matching accessories! At the point in time when Yandere Simulator takes place, it's rare to see Osana without Raibaru at her side. The two of them have become almost inseparable, which makes eliminating Osana hard.

   Even though she's not participating in the Martial Arts Club anymore, Raibaru is still at peak physical condition and is more than capable of breaking bones in order to protect herself or her friends. This means that the safest place in school is at Raibaru's side and means that the player will have a pretty hard time to eliminate Osana if Raibaru is near her...

6. #6Amai Odayaka

   Keys: Odayaka, Amai

   Amai is the second rival and the president of the Cooking Club. She is a warm, gentle, kind-hearted girl.

   Amai meets Taro at a bus stop when he's feeling dejected about losing his childhood friend and tries to comfort him by offering sweets and inviting him to help with her bakery. Secretly worries about never getting a chance to experience romance, and wanting someone to care about her the same way Taro does about Osana, Amai actively tries to win his heart. In the meantime, she's running a baking sale in the school plaza to help her family, as the bakery is struggling financially.

   Amai has short, French beige hair. She has summer green eyes and thick eyebrows. She wears dusty pink lipstick. Her bust size is 1.1. Amai's height is 161cm (5'3").

   She wears the school uniform with white slanted mint striped stockings, a greenish-cyan kerchief, a dark mint green apron with baking and flower themed patterns, and the "red arm band of leadership" with a cupcake on her left arm. If the Cooking Club is disbanded, Amai will remove her armband and apron for the rest of the game. When outside of school, Amai wears cute, girly, and feminine clothing: on Saturday of the first week, Amai wears a short-sleeved mint green t-shirt with a subtle, simple, white-outlined floral pattern, a white circle skirt, a light brown belt at her waist, her usual stockings and mint green shoes.

   Normally, she doesn't wear any accessories at school, but if Shoku Tsuburaya gives her accessories while matchmaking, Amai will wear a red bracelet with a cupcake on her left wrist, a dark teal choker with a cupcake attached to it, a yellow cupcake hair clip on the side of her head, and a yellow cupcake ring on her right ring finger. Her phone has a teal case and a cupcake charm hanging from it. On Saturday, she wore two necklaces; one pearl and the other a simple cord.

   Amai is the president of the school's cooking club. Her culinary skills are far beyond her age, and nothing makes her happier than seeing people enjoy the food that she has prepared.

   Amai will be absent from school during the first week of gameplay, but she will meet Senpai immediately after the events of Week 1, at a point in time when Senpai is feeling sad and vulnerable. She will quickly forge a bond with him, during a point in time when Senpai deeply needs a new friend.

   With her kind and caring nature, it's easy to see how Senpai could easily fall for her within a week's time. If nobody stands in her way, Senpai will belong to her in no time at all. Remember: the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach!

7. #7Kizana Sunobu

   Keys: Kizana, Sunobu

   Kizana is the third rival and president of the Drama Club. She's based on the "himedere" archetype, being a snobbish and arrogant person. She dreams of becoming a famous actress and strives to be at the top of every list, be it popularity, school grades, or club funding. Despite being a rather popular girl at school, most people get annoyed at her for her egoistical behavior to be actual friends with her unless they admire her acting abilities enough to ignore her flaws. Kizana meets Taro in front of a theater when he's feeling at his lowest after losing Amai, and immediately marks him as a perfect candidate for the lead role in her next play. Even though Taro doesn't explicitly agree to participate, Kizana practically forces him, as in her words, he "must and burn his as fuel to elevate his next artistic creation to greater heights". She shows only her good side around Taro, hiding her true nature from him; so despite considering Kizana a bit bossy, Taro will be impressed by her acting abilities and be flustered by what she thinks of him.

   Kizana has fair skin and dark lilac hair; she often changes her hairstyle but usually wears bangs and partially curls her hair. Her main hairstyle has straight bangs that are slightly swept to the left, with small side strands framing her face, and two twin drills held up by two Persian red roses and dark pink eyes. She has a large bust size of 1.35. Kizana's height is 163cm (5'4").

   She wears school uniform with a black choker with a red rose in the center and purple stockings with red roses and green leaves. As the leader of the Drama Club, she wears the "Red Armband of Leadership" with the "comedy and tragedy" masks on her left arm. Kizana's roses in her hair are a result of hundreds of rose bushes surrounding her house. She gets the roses she puts in her hair from those bushes every day.

   When outside of school, Kizana wears expensive and flashy clothing; during her leisure time, she experiments with her hair or tries on various expensive dresses. When Kizana attends class via Sai-Meet, her hair is seen loose and wavy. She also has two slightly curved strands of hair that end in drills in front of her shoulders. She's also wearing tomato red lipstick.

   Kizana is the president of the school's drama club. Her short-term goal is to be the most popular girl in school, and her long-term goal is to be the most famous actress who has ever lived.

   Kizana will be absent during the first two weeks of gameplay, but will set her sights on Senpai as soon as she returns to school. She is convinced that Senpai would make an excellent addition to the drama club, which might be just the thing to take his mind off of the events that he will experience during the first two weeks of gameplay...

   Her personality is very distasteful, but her beauty and her ability to captivate an audience might be enough to get her into Senpai's heart. She might just be the "Juliet" to his "Romeo"...

8. #8Oka Ruto

   Keys: Ruto, Oka

   Oka is the Next rival and president of the Occult Club. She's a shy, timid and socially awkward girl considered a freak by many for her obsession with occult and everything supernatural, which most people don't take seriously. Despite that, ghosts and other Supernatural Beings canonically exist in the game universe, so despite her club's futile attempts to summon a demon, their beliefs aren't completely ungrounded.

   It is currently unknown how they will meet and what would truly make Oka fall in love with Taro; she thinks someone "put a spell on her", making her attempt to win his heart along with investigating the Seven Mysteries of Akademi. However, the way they meet will most likely be comical due to her awkward nature.

   Oka has shoulder-length dark slate gray hair with a fringe that hangs down the middle of her face and flows across her right cheek. Her hair was less messy when she was a child because her mother would comb her hair with love daily, and Oka doesn't bother with it herself as a grown-up. Her eyes are dusky purple and she has large black rings around her eyes. Her lips and skin are pale. The upper half of her face is slightly shadowed. Her height is 159 cm (5'2"), and according to JSON files, her bust size is 1.05.

   Oka wears the same school uniform as other girls. In addition to it, she has light blue-gray with a spiderweb pattern thigh-high stockings and light blue-gray fingerless gloves with a spiderweb design. She also wears a black choker with a silver spider pendant. On her left arm, she wears the "Red Arband of Leadership" featuring a black pentagram. Her undergarments include black panties.

   Outside of school, she typically wears all-black clothing with a spiderweb design similar to this image and is likely to wear gothic Lolita fashion occasionally. In an early design iteration, she wore a turtleneck under a dark blue blazer.

   Oka is the president of the school's occult club. She is completely convinced that ghosts, demons, and black magic really exist, and wants to dedicate her life to proving that these things are real.

   Oka is absent for school during the first three weeks of gameplay for mysterious reasons. As soon as she returns to school, she is immediately smitten by Senpai. Due to the fact that she falls for him in an extremely short span of time, she believes that there must be something supernatural about him, and begins studying him intently.

   She is an awkward girl who is regarded as 'creepy' by the majority of the school, but she is actually quite harmless, and some people even find her to be endearing, as she is quiet and thoughtful. Perhaps Senpai will think that there is something charming about her unusual nature...

9. #9Asu Rito

   Keys: Asu, Rito

   Asu is the Sixth rival and president of the Sports Club. She's based on "genki" archetype and has a cheerful and energetic personality. She also has a competitive side to her, so she will spend the first four weeks training for Olympics at a specialized institution. She will meet Taro when he is feeling drained after the first Five weeks and will persuade him to do sports together, which appears to be her "love language".

   Asu has tanned skin, short, blonde hair with a small ahoge on top, and bangs that cover her forehead. The bangs are swept slightly to the left, and she also has small side strands framing her face. Her eyes are a sky blue color. In JSON files, her bust size is set to 1.25. Her height is 164cm (5'4"). Asu wears the school uniform with black and yellow shorts under her skirt, two black wristbands with yellow stripes, yellow swimming goggles on her forehead, and a black and yellow jacket tied around her waist unless customized by the player. As the leader of the Sports Club, she wears the "Red Armband of Leadership" with a symbol of a person swimming on her left arm. When outside of school, she wears boyish clothing with shorts or pants instead of skirts.

   Asu is the president of the school's sports club. She's the top student athlete in the region, and many of her classmates predict that she'll be winning gold medals at the Olympics in a few years.

   Asu won't actually appear at school until the fifth week of gameplay, but she will quickly make friends with Senpai. Senpai will be feeling drained after the last five weeks, and some exercise might be just what he needs to put his mind off of recent events.

   Her cheerful and energetic nature makes it very easy for her to make friends - or find her way into someone's heart. Her easygoing attitude and glowing smile might steal Senpai's heart in no time at all...

10. #10Muja Kina

    Keys: Muja, Kina

    Muja is the seventh rival and trainee nurse. She's based on "unintentional sexual innuendos" trope, having a pure and innocent personality despite constant suggestive moments. Muja is a student nurse and will appear in Akademi as she will be receiving training from Nasu Kankoshi. Taro will be sick during her week, so he will have to visit her every day. She is a very physically attractive woman, which could help Taro fall for her, but the other factor is that she is very caring and interested in healing and helping others. In addition to falling in love with him, Muja will also develop respect for Taro because he knows a lot of things that Muja herself had to learn in school.

    Muja has a curvy figure, slightly wavy pastel pink hair that reaches her chest. Her bangs are parted to the right, with the left side falling straight and the right side slightly swept. Short side bangs curve above her cheeks. A single strand of hair on the right side trails behind her ear and rests on her shoulder in a loose curl. She has violet eyes, rosy cheeks, and wears peach-colored lip gloss. Her bust size is set to 1.45 in the game files, the standard value being 1.0 and the highest being 2.0. Her height is 167 cm (5'6").

    She wears a short, tight white nurse uniform with light pink buttons and side slits. The uniform has short sleeves, a deep neckline, and a chest pocket with a light pink nurse's cross. A matching nurse's cap sits on the left side of her head. Her stockings are pale pink silk, secured by a white garter belt with light pink trim. She wears low white heels. In her right hand, she holds a gauze plug, and in her left, a leaking blue bottle of ethyl alcohol. Her nails are painted pink. When she's out of school, Muja wears casual clothing that is a bit too revealing for any situation she finds herself in, usually because of a button she forgot to button or a zipper that came undone without her noticing.

    Muja is a young woman whose greatest desire in life is to be helpful to others...although she usually ends up causing more problems than she solves due to her air-headed and klutzy nature.

    Muja is studying to become a nurse, and will be recieving training from Akademi's school nurse during the sixth week of gameplay. She will become fond of Senpai very quickly, during a point in time when he definitely needs someone taking care of his health.

    Although she might be a little clumsy and accident-prone, she is a very sweet and caring person, and it's very easy to see how any schoolboy might develop a crush on her - including Senpai...

11. #11Mida Rana

    Keys: Mida Rana, Mida, Rana

    Mida is the eighth rival and a teacher substituting Kaho Kanokogi. Being based on a "sexy teacher" trope, she's portrayed as a villain character, getting a thrill from seeing the boys developing crushes on her even though she knows it is wrong.

    Mida will pursue Taro because she is ready to "settle down". Her week will revolve around Mida trying to give him more confidence and courage around girls by roleplaying with him and acting out various scenarios. In these scenarios, she pretends to be a cute younger student (kohai) who looks up to him (senpai). Despite that Taro normally doesn't like women like Mida, and their potential relationship would be very complicated, he won't be able to resist her charms.

    Mida is a light-skinned woman with straight, old copper hair tied in a high ponytail. Her uneven bangs fall between her eyes, slightly parted to the left, with strands covering both sides of her face. Two long strands frame her face, reaching near her collarbone. Her eyes are purplish-brown, and she has a beauty mark on her lower left cheek. She wears dark rose lipstick and stands at 168 cm (5'6") tall, being the tallest rival. Her bust size is set to 1.5 in the game files, the standard value being 1.0 and the highest being 2.0. Mida is older than Muja Kina, but she's still in her early twenties.

    she wears a tight black double-breasted blazer with a deep neckline, over an unbuttoned white dress shirt that exposes cleavage and a red bra. Her skirt is short, tight, and scarlet with side slits. She pairs it with black silk stockings, a black garter belt, and scarlet high heels. The Headmaster's Tapes will explain why she is allowed to dress like that. When outside of school, Mida wears revealing, sexy clothing regardless of the situation.

    Mida is a substitute teacher who absolutely loves her job; there is nothing that she enjoys more than having dozens of eyes all directed towards her...especially if those eyes belong to teenage boys.

    Mida will appear at school in the seventh week of gameplay in order to fill in for an unavailable teacher. She will quickly begin hunting for new 'prey', and Senpai will catch her attention.

    Her hobby is seducing schoolboys, and so far, no man has ever been able to resist her charms. If she decides that she wants someone, they have no hope of escape. Senpai won't be able to escape her clutches unless someone takes drastic measures...

12. #12Osoro Shidesu

    Keys: Shidesu, Osoro Shidesu, Osoro

    Osoro is the ninth rival and leader of the delinquents. To most people, she's known as the strongest and most dangerous girl in school, who had allegedly beaten a number of people on her first day at school. In reality, her closed-off and intimidating persona is most likely the result of her growing up in a poor and abusive family. She had no close friends prior to her current "cronies", and has no interested in making friends in present time; however, she seems to have warmed up to them over time.

    Osoro will not be present for the first seven weeks as Genka Kunahito, the guidance counselor, had suspended her in order to be able to reform the delinquents while their biggest negative influence, Osoro herself, isn't present at Akademi. The exact way how she will meet Senpai and what he sees in her is currently unknown, however, Osoro is hinted to have a "different side", most evident in the alternative line in the introductions video and her relationship with her "cronies", as the structure of the group reminds much less of a gang than a club or a friend group.

    Osoro has unkempt, shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes. She has an 'X' shaped scar on her left cheek. Her bust size is 1.3. Osoro's messy hair is a result of meticulously combing her hair to make it presentable, with her pet flying on top of her head and ruffling her hair, appearing messy before she leaves her home.

    Osoro is the second tallest girl in Akademi at 165cm (5'5"). She is one of the heaviest students at Akademi, as the weight is from muscle, also being described as "extremely muscular". In her official art, she is shown to have a muscular figure, with well-defined arms and legs.

    She wears the same school uniform as the other girls with black shorts underneath her skirt, a large, torn jacket hanging off her shoulders, and bandages on her arms and legs unless customized by the player. Outside school, Osoro wears something similar to what the woman on the left in this photo wears and never takes off her "cape".

    Osoro is the leader of the school's gang of delinquents. Very little is known about her past, or her goals. She has been known to be violent, so most people tend to stay away from her out of fear.

    Osoro will be absent from school for a very long time, and will not make her appearance until the eighth week of gameplay. Against all odds, she will develop a bond with Senpai, who normally keeps his distance from people like Osoro.

    Senpai and Osoro are polar opposites — so, what kind of experience could possibly cause them to form a friendship? What does Senpai know about her? What does he see inside of her? And what could stop their friendship from blossoming into something deeper?

13. #13Hanako Yamada

    Keys: Yamada, Hanako

    Hanako is the tenth rival and Taro's younger sister. She is not in love with her brother, nor does she lust sexually after him, but she loves him so much that she does not want him to get a girlfriend, as she wants all of his attention. Her usual behavior is described as "childish" and "overbearing", and she seems to be extremely infantile, almost fully depended on her older brother.

    Hanako decided that she could no longer bear to be enrolled in a different school from Taro, however, she will pass the entrance exams only in the ninth week. On Friday, she will force her brother to promise to never abandon her and never get a girlfriend.

    Hanako is a fair-skinned girl[6] with dark gray eyes and straight dark gray hair. Her bangs partially cover her forehead, with the right side falling slightly diagonally across her cheek and ear. The left side of her bangs is swept to the side and held back by a heart-shaped clip, with some strands falling over her ear and cheek, and others going behind her ear. Her hair is styled in two high, full ponytails on either side of her head, the strands reaching to her shoulders and slightly curled. Her bust size is set to 1.2 in game files and her height is 160cm (5'3").

    Hanako wears a school uniform with a red heart hairpin and white knee-high socks. When outside of school, Hanako wears casual clothing that leans slightly more toward "cute" than "plain". She would also wear at least one cute accessory per outfit.

    Hanako is Senpai's younger sister. She loves her big brother more than anything in the world and depends on him for almost everything. She is very possessive of him and becomes upset when he won't spend time with her.

    After nine weeks of gameplay, Hanako decides that she just can't bear to be enrolled in a different school than her beloved brother, and transfers into his school so that she can be with him all day long.

    Hanako is deathly afraid that if her brother gets a girlfriend, he'll forget all about her and refuse to spend time with her. She has made it her mission to stop him from getting a girlfriend at all costs so that nobody else can have her big brother's attention. Senpai would never want to do anything that would make his little sister cry... this would spell doom for anyone who has fallen in love with Senpai.

14. #14Megami Saiko

    Keys: Saiko Corp's Heir, Saiko, Megami

    Megami is the Eleventh rival and president of the Student Council. She's based on Mary Sue trope, being perfect in almost every possible aspect, from general and academic knowledge to looks and any task that doesn't require years of experience and knowledge. She is a future CEO of Saikou Corp, a multinational corporation that has a monopoly over many industries in Yandere Simulator's world. Her grandfather, Saisho Saikou, held strong beliefs in eugenics and nationalism and controlled everything in his family, including his children's marriage and the way they raise children; this resulted in Megami being just "human" enough to not turn off people like her father, but otherwise superior to almost all other people.

    Megami is currently forbidden from attending school during the first nine weeks for unknown reasons. She seems to be aware of Ayano's true nature, and her actions will most likely be directed more towards Ayano than Taro. However, it is currently unknown whether or not she actually has any personal feelings towards Taro.

    Megami has fair skin, rosy cheeks, periwinkle gray eyes, thigh-length periwinkle hair, fringed bangs, and a protruding ahoge. Her bust size is set to 1.4 in the game files. Her height is 166cm (5'5"). She also wears slightly more makeup than Kuroko Kamenaga, but not enough for it to be excessive or ridiculous.

    She wears the Student Council uniform with black stockings, gloves, and a choker necklace with red stitching and bows. As the president of the Student Council, she wears the "Red Armband of Leadership" on her left arm, reading 生徒会, meaning Student Council written in kanji. She consistently wears her gloves, even while running, and will only remove them if there's a risk of damage from environmental factors—like swimming.

    Megami is the heiress to Saikou Corp, the most powerful business conglomerate in Japan. She is impossibly wealthy, a certified genius, has extensive self-defense training, has excelled at everything she has ever attempted to do in her entire life, and has been trained to possess all of the qualities of a perfect leader, to prepare her for the day when she will inherit her father's company. She is also the most beautiful girl in school, the most popular girl in school, AND the student council president, too.

    Megami has been absent from school for nine weeks under mysterious circumstances that she has not disclosed to anyone. She has still managed to keep up with her schoolwork by attending class through a laptop, and has also been able to manage the school's student council by attending meetings via video call. She is noticeably upset about this; she strongly believes that she should be attending school like a normal student, and is resentful of her current situation, although she is not at liberty to explain the reasons for her absence.

    Megami, unlike all other characters, is fully aware of the fact that there is a dangerous person on school grounds. Once she arrives at school, she will do absolutely everything in her power to protect the school's population - that includes installing security cameras, hiring security guards, and instating a zero-tolerance policy for suspicious behavior. Megami clearly has some very important information that would cause her to go to such extreme lengths...but what does she know? Does Saikou Corp have anything to do with it? And, more importantly, does Senpai have anything to do with it?

    Befriending: To befriend a Rival, Ayano has to learn about her dark secret and complete her Task. The Rival will arrive at Ayano's house, and a cutscene will play. The Rival will speak for some time about the situation, continuing as Ayano pours them both tea. Ayano will be given a choice to serve normal tea or drug it, betraying the Rival (The way to Betrayal ←). Ayano gives the Rival her tea, and sits back down. Ayano then confesses her feelings for Senpai to her Rival, and begs her to stay away from him. The Rival hesitates but ultimately decides to adhere to Ayano's wishes. The cutscene then ends, with Ayano successfully befriending her Rival, and promising to take good care of Senpai.
