1. #100 · Foundations and canon

Keys: The New Order, Last Days of Europe, world history, TNO

   Always on · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Setting: "The New Order: Last Days of Europe" (TNO), a grim alternate history. Germany and Japan won World War II; together with the United States, they form three rival poles in a Cold War. Nazi crimes, systematic persecution, enslavement, colonial exploitation, and resistance are lived realities of the Reich, not mere scenery. This alternate-universe canon combines classic TNO elements (Burgundy, Heydrich, and a possible German civil war) with our agreed deviations; the mod itself has changed its lore across versions. Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun have a son, Siegfried, born September 1, 1940. A propaganda celebrity since childhood, he is a 21-year-old army captain and Hitler's officially designated successor. A singular, never-reproduced secret genetic experiment made superhuman development possible: only Siegfried knows about the powers that awakened overnight on October 10, 1961. He has long known that he was genetically altered before birth. The public and foreign powers know nothing of the experiment. The story opens on the morning of October 10, 1961, in Siegfried's private residence in Germania, with the 18-year-old identical twin sisters Lily and Emily Winter in his bed. Their future importance is undecided. The world follows autonomous but alterable default trajectories. {{user}} plays Siegfried and also directs the narrative; the AI writes third-person novelistic prose, including Siegfried's plausible thoughts, speech, reactions, and actions unless {{user}} specifies otherwise. MILITARY CANON, 1961: The Reich, the United States, and Japan are separate nuclear superpowers; there is no nuclear-armed Soviet Union. Italy is a major conventional Mediterranean military power but not an equal nuclear superpower. Burgundy secretly seeks nuclear weapons, but in October 1961 it has no confirmed, publicly known, operational second-strike capability. Neither Siegfried nor any individual SS leader automatically controls Germany's nuclear weapons. Force strength, logistics, military loyalties, and nuclear command chains must be treated realistically.

2. #201 · What happened before: 1918–1929

Keys: Bukharin, Stalin, Versailles, 1918, 1920s

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The First World War ends in 1918 with German defeat and the fall of the Empire. The Weimar Republic is unstable: the Treaty of Versailles, coup attempts, political violence, and economic crises erode confidence in democracy. In Russia, the Bolsheviks gain power after revolution and civil war; in the TNO timeline, Nikolai Bukharin defeats Joseph Stalin in the struggle for leadership of the new Soviet Union. His economic and political approach produces a state less capable industrially and militarily than its real-world counterpart. The Nazi Party uses conspiracy myths, antisemitism, and nationalist demands for revenge to rally supporters. For the world of 1961, the essential point is that Germany's later victory resulted from different balances of power, not racial superiority.

3. #302 · Nazi seizure of power and persecution, 1933–1938

Keys: Nazi seizure of power, 1938, Kristallnacht, 1933, Nuremberg Laws

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Hitler becomes Reich Chancellor in 1933. His regime dismantles political parties, independent media, trade unions, and the separation of powers. Police, Gestapo, and SS persecute political opponents, Jewish people, and other groups branded "undesirable." The racist Nuremberg Laws and state-organized violence destroy civil rights. Rearmament, propaganda, and the Führer principle reshape society. Austria is annexed and Czechoslovakia dismembered. State terror is part of the unchanged premise of this alternate world, not an aesthetic flourish. Witnesses remember the era differently: officials recall careers and plunder; survivors remember dispossession and loss.

4. #403 · World War II in Western Europe, 1939–1941

Keys: Battle of France, Britain 1940, Operation Sea Lion, Poland, Western Campaign, Dunkirk

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Germany's invasion of Poland in 1939 unleashes World War II. In the TNO timeline German forces achieve more extensive victories in Western Europe than in actual history: the British evacuation at Dunkirk largely fails, France is defeated, and Britain cannot indefinitely resist German invasion and politico-military collapse. Collaborationist British institutions emerge while resistance fighters, exiles, and other survivors continue the struggle. Italy and the other Axis powers benefit from victories in the Mediterranean and North Africa. Thus Germany loses the dangerous western front that decisively weakened it in real history.

5. #504 · Collapse of the Soviet Union

Keys: A–A Line, Arkhangelsk, Barbarossa, Eastern Front, Soviet Union, Astrakhan

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Germany launches its war of annihilation against the Soviet Union in 1941. In this alternate timeline the USSR under Bukharin is more poorly organized and equipped; the eastern front collapses. German forces advance to the strategic Arkhangelsk–Astrakhan line and establish Reichskommissariats. The Soviet state disintegrates, but Russian society never collectively surrenders: Red Army remnants, monarchists, democratic refugees, communists, nationalists, and regional strongmen form countless successor states. Occupation brings mass murder, famine, forced labor, deportations, and partisan warfare. The dream of a permanently pacified German eastern colony is propaganda; reality is resistance and unstable control.

6. #605 · Pacific War and Germany's atomic victory

Keys: Pearl Harbor, atomic bombing, Hawaii, 1945, Akagi Accords

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Japan attacks Pearl Harbor in 1941 and conquers much of Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The United States fails to prevail as it did in our timeline. In classic TNO lore, Germany develops the atomic bomb before America and carries out a devastating nuclear strike on Pearl Harbor; Berlin and Tokyo subsequently force a humiliating peace on Washington. Hawaii and Pacific territories pass into Japan's sphere, while Japanese privileges in American West Coast ports become a national trauma in the United States. Exact dates of the atomic attack and treaty differ between TNO versions; in this RP continuity, the war ends in 1945. The American state and society survive, marked by defeat and revanchism.

7. #706 · Siegfried's birth in 1940: divergence from TNO canon

Keys: 1940, Eva Braun, Project Siegfried, Siegfried's birth, son of the Führer

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Siegfried Hitler is born on September 1, 1940, the biological son of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun. This alternate universe openly legitimizes their relationship earlier and uses the child to construct a propaganda myth of supposedly hereditary dynastic leadership. A secluded medical team alters the unborn boy in 1939–40 through a highly dangerous fictional experiment. The one successful result is accidental, scientifically unexplained, and never reproducible despite brutal follow-up experiments. Until October 1961, Siegfried visibly possesses only extraordinary abilities close to the human maximum. He knows he was altered and can plausibly connect the suddenly awakened additional powers to this procedure. This science-fiction event explicitly does not vindicate Nazi racial pseudoscience. The public never learns of the intervention; Hitler, Eva, and a tiny circle of researchers know, while Himmler has at most rumors. Siegfried begins the main story in autumn 1961 at age 21.

8. #807 · The postwar Reich, 1945–1950

Keys: postwar era, Reichskommissariats, Volkshalle, 1948, Reich Senate, Germania

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

After victory, the Reich declares Europe its German-dominated sphere. Berlin is rebuilt under the monumental name "Germania," consuming vast resources. Reichskommissariats govern large occupied areas in Eastern Europe; collaborationist governments and police structures enforce occupation. In this continuity, new Reich institutions consolidate the totalitarian state in 1948, including a Reich Senate functioning as an instrument dependent on Hitler. Occupied peoples gain no equal rights. The economy relies dangerously on theft, slave and forced labor, enormous prestige projects, and continued expansion. Victory does not produce sustainable prosperity for all, but an imperial state with structural sickness. The postwar colonial order: Generalplan Ost remains the ideological and administrative reference for German settlement and denial of rights. Reichsgaue and formally incorporated territories must be distinguished from Reichskommissariats, protectorates, and client states; maps must not label everything under German domination as directly annexed territory. In 1961 the colonial transformation remains ongoing, impeded by rebellions, expense, and economic crisis; it has not achieved complete or peaceful Germanization.

9. #908 · Germany's Lost Decade, 1950–1955

Keys: Lost Decade, stagnation, economic crisis, 1950s, slave economy

   Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The post-victory boom proves deceptive. Overextended administration, corruption, massive rearmament, megaprojects, discriminatory forced-labor structures, and low productivity lead to a crash in the early-to-mid 1950s. The German bloc stagnates; youth unemployment, shortages, elite infighting, and black markets grow. Speer advocates technical reforms, Bormann preservation of the party-state, Göring a renewed militaristic expansionism, and Himmler an even more brutal totalitarian order. Italy distances itself from Berlin, while Japan uses its own markets. Each economic crisis further exposes the inability of a political order built on conquest and racial hierarchy to function. The crisis also hits the megaprojects and eastern colonization. Germania's flagship ceremonial sites are mostly complete by 1961, but maintenance and operation are expensive; elsewhere planned transport arteries, settlements, and administrative projects survive only as fragments. Colonial exploitation exacts immense human costs without generating stable prosperity.

10. #1009 · The West Russian War, 1956–1958

Keys: West Russian War, West Russian Revolutionary Front, WRRF, Tukhachevsky, Zhukov, 1956

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Beginning in 1956, the West Russian Revolutionary Front (WRRF), made up of western-front remnants of Soviet forces, advances into German-controlled Moskowien. The Germans are initially surprised and lose territory. Georgy Zhukov and Mikhail Tukhachevsky embody rival Soviet officer factions. German resistance, exhaustion, and Russian infighting halt the offensive; the war ends without a unified Russia. The occupiers are shaken, the WRRF fragments into factions, and other warlords seize ground. At the same time, a failed SS bid for power deepens divisions inside the Nazi apparatus. The Reich survives, but the myth of its invincibility is broken. Thousands of displaced people and disabled veterans shape the borderlands.

11. #1110 · From SS coup to Burgundy

Keys: Burgundy, Order-State, Himmler's coup, SS coup

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

During the decade's crises, Heinrich Himmler and SS circles attempt to assert independent power against Hitler and the Wehrmacht. The coup fails. In a precarious compromise, classic TNO gives Himmler a de facto autonomous SS Order-State of Burgundy on Belgian and northern French territory. Terror, secrecy, and cruel rule dominate the region; Himmler's security apparatus pursues apocalyptic extremist plans. Berlin tolerates this dangerous concentration of power because direct confrontation could destabilize the Reich. This Burgundy plot intentionally reflects a classic version of TNO lore, although later mod revisions change some particulars.

12. #1211 · The years 1959–1961

Keys: succession crisis, 1961, rocket technology, 1960, Hitler's health

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

By 1961, Germany looks mighty after the victories of 1945 but is economically, colonially, and politically fragile. Rivals of the aging Hitler prepare for the succession. The dictator can still act and govern, yet his gradual physical decline begins or becomes increasingly apparent. His 21-year-old son Siegfried is publicly designated the future Führer and ubiquitous in film, television, the press, and public appearances. His formal legitimacy is high while his power apparatus is minimal. People in the streets, offices, and barracks increasingly wonder who will actually be able to enforce orders after Hitler. The world continues moving even when Siegfried attends only to private concerns.

13. #1312 · Daily life, terror, perpetrators, and victims

Keys: life in the Reich, Holocaust, life under occupation, resistance, forced labor, Gestapo

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Life under German rule is divided: privileged Reich Germans see modernized cities and state spectacles, while millions suffer persecution, deportation, deprivation of rights, forced labor, and colonial exploitation. Many Jewish communities and other minorities have been systematically murdered; survivors live under false identities, in exile, or underground. The Gestapo surveils suspects, SS and occupation authorities use violence, and courts offer no independent protection. Supporters of the state may be driven by careers, ideological conviction, opportunism, fear, or denial. Resistance members are neither uniformly heroic nor irrelevant; people act for personal and political reasons. Do not downplay or glorify Nazi crimes. Decades of colonial population engineering and settlement policy also affect ordinary German families: some live on confiscated property, coerced labor, and state benefits; others moved to eastern settlements and now fear attacks, shortages, or the project's failure. The dispossessed and persecuted must have their own perspectives in the roleplay.

14. #1413 · Cold War among three superpowers

Keys: OFN, Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, Cold War, three-superpower order, Einheitspakt

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Instead of Washington versus Moscow, three major power centers compete: the German Reich and its Einheitspakt, the United States and its Organization of Free Nations (OFN), and Japan and its Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. All possess nuclear weapons, navies, and intelligence agencies. Proxy wars, coups, trade pressure, and prestige contests replace direct world war; an ill-considered direct clash could escalate to nuclear exchange. Italy, Iberia, Turkey, and various neutral states exploit the rivalry. Every bloc contains opposition movements whose interests do not automatically align with those of rival superpowers. Three-way nuclear deterrence is central; missiles, long-range bombers, radar early warning, and submarines are developing within early-1960s technological limits, not miraculous twenty-first-century technology.

15. #1514 · Technology and everyday life in 1961

Keys: nuclear weapons, television, computers, science, technology, space travel

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Everyday technology belongs to the early 1960s: tube televisions, radio, landline phones, typewriters, analog intelligence archives, jet aircraft, early mainframes, radar, and nuclear deterrence. There are no smartphones, public internet, or twenty-first-century digital total surveillance. Military missile, nuclear, and space technology may be somewhat advanced by TNO priorities, but remains expensive and failure-prone. Siegfried's genetic creation is a singular science-fiction exception, not evidence of a general technological leap. No other supersoldiers, reliably reproducible superpower technology, or alien civilization without a story event.

16. #1615 · Siegfried Hitler: identity

Keys: son of the Führer, Siegfried, Hitler's son, Siegfried Hitler

    Always on · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Siegfried Hitler is the protagonist embodied by {{user}}. Born September 1, 1940, he is 21 on October 10, 1961; 1.90 m tall, blond, blue-eyed, attractive, and athletic. Before his awakening he was an exceptional but still human peak-performance athlete. Biological son of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun. He served three years in the Wehrmacht's army (1958–1961) and is now a CAPTAIN; his parentage accelerated his promotion, but he has real military competence and occupation experience. Hitler publicly named him successor. He is extraordinarily popular, especially among Germany's regime-loyal majority, and appears regularly on television. A notorious womanizer for around five years, he has no intention of settling down yet. His attitude toward National Socialism is AMBIVALENT and must not be predetermined. He is emotionally close to both parents, values freedom, and lives in his own Germania residence with a small staff, but has NO organized power base. He is the organizationally weakest successor contender, despite scattered loyal sympathizers across all factions. The AI may write his speech, observations, thoughts, and fitting everyday reactions in novel form; {{user}} retains final authority over choices.

17. #1716 · Siegfried's public image

Keys: Siegfried propaganda, Führer's heir, model heir, state visit

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Siegfried is famous across the Reich: regular television broadcasts, newsreels, propaganda posters, receptions, and public ceremonies. State media praise him as the charismatic, militarily capable, handsome designated successor. He enjoys exceptional personal popularity among broad sections of regime-loyal German society, perhaps more than Bormann, Speer, Göring, or Heydrich. His reputation as a charming playboy pleases some younger Germans, while conservative party circles criticize his refusal to settle down. Popularity brings contacts, attention, and symbolic pressure, not loyal divisions or a reliable party organization. Persecuted people, opponents of the regime, and inhabitants of occupied lands may regard him with hatred, fear, or distrust despite his charm; propaganda is not truth. His physical appearance proves no racial superiority.

18. #1817 · Siegfried's military service

Keys: service record, Captain Siegfried, Siegfried military service, Siegfried officer

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Siegfried served in the Wehrmacht's ARMY from 1958 to 1961 (not the Waffen-SS or Luftwaffe), reaching the officer rank of CAPTAIN at 21. Such exceptional advancement was facilitated by his origins, but was not wholly a gift: he has training, tactical skills, professional military knowledge, experience leading troops, exercises, and experience in operations or inspections in occupied territories. He has witnessed occupation practices and military violence; his moral reaction remains ambivalent and narratively open. Some comrades respect his skills, while others see nepotism. His rank grants no access to command of the entire Wehrmacht, political leadership, or private divisions. He knows career officers personally, but possesses no independent military force. Fictional Major Johannes Falk is a possible military contact.

19. #1918 · Project Siegfried: secret and irreproducible

Keys: research files, genetic experiment, genetic enhancement, Project Siegfried, Ulrich Voss

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The fictional secret "Project Siegfried" began in 1939–40 before Siegfried's birth. Opportunistic Dr. Ulrich Voss and a sequestered research group made dangerous genetic alterations to the unborn biological son of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun. Success was a one-off, unexplained accident; decades of brutal attempts to repeat it failed. INFORMATION STATUS: Siegfried has long known for certain that he was genetically enhanced through an experiment; until autumn 1961 he attributed his peak human physical performance to it. Hitler, Eva, and a handful of researchers also know about the experiment, which remains a state secret from the public. Himmler/the SS have rumors but no complete reliable knowledge. Public propaganda claims Siegfried's physique and talents are natural products of lineage and upbringing. On October 10, 1961, enormous new powers awaken without any trigger. Siegfried can infer the connection to the experiment; he alone knows of the awakening and actual capabilities. Neither his parents nor Voss, Himmler, or the public know about them. This does not objectively validate any Nazi racial theory.

20. #2019 · Powers: starting state

Keys: superpowers, superhuman, Siegfried's powers, peak human

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

START STATE: the morning of October 10, 1961, in Siegfried's private residence in Germania. He wakes after a night in bed with two adult, 18-year-old identical redheaded twin sisters. Without any accident, dream, laboratory procedure, stress event, or apparent external cause, his body has acquired vast new abilities overnight. Previously he was exceptionally fit and capable but outwardly human. Now he senses immense inner strength, lightness, extreme reflexes, and instinctive control. Knowing about the earlier genetic experiment, he immediately suspects it is responsible. The powers ARE ALREADY ACTIVE, not awaiting future unlocking; despite their magnitude he can instantly touch glass, people, bedding, or doorknobs normally. He needs to explore his limits, not relearn basic grasping or movement. Only he knows; the sisters, his staff, Hitler, Eva Braun, and researchers know nothing.

21. #2120 · Powers: strength and flight

Keys: flying, Viltrumite, hypersonic, speed of sound, super strength, flight

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Siegfried's superpowers are inspired by the Viltrumites of "Invincible" but follow this AU's own science-fiction rules: extraordinary muscular strength, enormous acceleration, superhuman reaction and movement speed, unaided flight, exceptional durability, and rapid regeneration. He can tear apart battle tanks, damage or destroy large ships, and demolish major buildings with his bare hands. Intentionally exerting his full strength, he could destroy a city in a short time, but not effortlessly shatter an entire planet. His flight speed can greatly exceed that of ordinary jets; very high atmospheric speeds and travel into space are possible in principle. His POWER and instinctive, precise control exist immediately; he only needs to learn his limits and the effects extreme actions would have on the surroundings, people, and secrecy. He does NOT gain powers gradually through character levels. No additional abilities such as laser eyes, telepathy, magic, or matter manipulation.

22. #2221 · Powers: vulnerability and limits

Keys: oxygen, weakness, injuries, invulnerability, ultrasound, nuclear blast

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Siegfried is practically invulnerable to ordinary pistols, rifles, explosives, and most conventional weapons, but he is not literally limitless. Nuclear weapons might not kill him, yet could seriously injure him depending on proximity and circumstances; timing, distance, and effects must make narrative sense. Extreme strain, oxygen deprivation in space, certain resonance/sound frequencies, and unknown physical effects could pose dangers; weaknesses must not be invented arbitrarily just to make ordinary soldiers threatening. Wounds heal much faster, but not necessarily instantly; his life span is greatly extended and his aging slowed. He is not omniscient or immune to manipulation, betrayal, family loss, political isolation, or the consequences of violence. Instinctive fine control means he easily avoids accidental destruction through ordinary daily touch. Politics and administration remain separate challenges.

23. #2322 · Powers: narrative development

Keys: power development, flight training, awakening, power level, discovery

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Narrative principle: the overnight awakening is the FIRST scene, not a later milestone to unlock. Waking -> sensing the new force within -> initial discreet exploration -> daily life, family, affairs of state, and intrigue under changed conditions. Siegfried has automatic fine motor control from the beginning; he needs no training montage to turn doorknobs and no accidental disasters from handshakes. The story may progressively reveal the extent and limitations of his strength and flight, but the abilities themselves are real and usable immediately. He may jeopardize his secret by choice, rumors, eyewitness testimony, or political investigations. The AI should portray his reactions and inner perceptions as a novel without imposing his broader goals or ideology against the player's will. Physical supremacy does not confer automatic social or political supremacy.

24. #2423 · Adolf Hitler as father and ruler

    Keys: father, Adolf Hitler, Führer

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Adolf Hitler, dictator of the Greater Germanic Reich and responsible for genocidal policy, war, and mass repression, is also Siegfried's genuinely affectionate but extremely authoritarian father in 1961. He feels real love and pride; his demands for obedience and ideological continuity provoke conflict. He particularly disapproves of Siegfried's extensive love life and expects marriage, commitment, and a respectable family. He publicly and formally designated his son the future Führer, and genuinely means it. Yet his governing instincts prevent him from giving the 21-year-old much real governmental authority; Hitler retains ultimate control. Political and private talks, warmth, disappointment, arguments, and moments of vulnerability should coexist. Siegfried has regular direct access to him. From 1961 Hitler's health declines gradually: at first he can still govern; within roughly one to three years a severe crisis may arise. The exact time of death is open, not scripted. Hitler knows of the old genetic experiment, not the superpowers awakened in 1961. Their family bond does not diminish the regime's crimes.

25. #2524 · Eva Braun in this alternate universe

Keys: Hitler's family, Siegfried's mother, Eva Braun

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Eva Braun is Siegfried's biological mother and, in this AU, has been publicly linked to Hitler since 1940. She loves her son deeply and sincerely and tries to protect him from court intrigue. Siegfried is emotionally very close to her and can trust her in private, without her automatically knowing every secret: she knows nothing of his overnight awakening at the start. Eva lives a privileged life within the Nazi regime and is no secret liberal dissident; she may share its views while remaining warm, protective, and human toward her son. Through access to Hitler she may exercise discreet political influence, without leading an overt party machine herself. She may mediate between father and son, including over Siegfried's extravagant bachelor lifestyle. She has her own thoughts, interests, and potential fears.

26. #2625 · Dr. Ulrich Voss and the archives

Keys: experimental laboratory, Ulrich Voss, project archives, Dr. Voss

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Dr. Ulrich Voss (fictional) is an aging, opportunistic researcher from the secret genetic project that altered Siegfried before birth. Voss holds incomplete records, is implicated in medical atrocities, and fears the SS. Siegfried has long known that Voss or his team genetically enhanced him and attributes his exceptional human performance so far to the experiment. Voss knows the extraordinary original outcome, but NOT about the unexpected emergence of superpowers on October 10, 1961. Post-awakening examination would be possible only if new information surfaced credibly; Voss has no supernatural means of remote diagnosis. His motives may shift among scientific ambition, guilt, careerism, and self-preservation.

27. #2726 · Levels of secrecy

Keys: who knows, secrecy, Siegfried's secret, project files

    Always on · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

SECRECY AT GAME START, OCTOBER 10, 1961: The public knows Siegfried as Hitler's biological son, a charismatic captain and television celebrity, a womanizer, and his officially chosen successor. His extraordinary fitness is publicly attributed to "natural" ancestry, training, and upbringing, a myth exploited by Nazi propaganda. Hitler, Eva Braun, and the tiny research circle around Voss know of the old dangerous genetic intervention and his former peak-human capabilities, but NOT of any new superpowers. SIEGFRIED has known about the experiment for years and, as of this morning, is the ONLY person aware of his flight, strength, speed, durability, and instinctive control; he can infer the connection. Himmler and the SS possess at most rumors or fragments about the old experiment and NO knowledge of the awakening. Bormann, Göring, Speer, Heydrich, and the wider public have no reliable knowledge of the experiment, let alone the powers. NPCs must acquire clues believably through events in the story.

28. #2827 · Germania and the Reich

Keys: Greater Germanic Reich, Germania, world capital, Berlin

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The official plans and propaganda call the Nazi capital Germania, though Berlin remains a common everyday name. Monumental buildings, enormous parade grounds, and heavily guarded government districts stand beside ordinary residential neighborhoods and shortages. The regime directly controls an expanded Reich and dominates European satellites. Party, ministries, Wehrmacht, SS, police, business associations, and regional governors have overlapping, rival powers. Personal rule under the Führer fosters dependency: officials court influential individuals rather than rely on predictable law. Behind the victorious façades, fear of the power vacuum after Hitler is growing in 1961. In the TNO world, Germania is more than an announced plan: parts of the world capital, including the Volkshalle and Triumphal Arch, have actually been built by 1961. They coexist with ordinary residential districts, functioning government, unfinished construction sites, high maintenance costs, and a legacy of forced labor. Siegfried should encounter these monumental symbols as he moves around the city without idealizing the reality of the regime.

29. #2928 · German state apparatus and succession

Keys: state apparatus, Reich Chancellery, succession, inheritance, Reich Senate

    Always on · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The Greater Germanic Reich is not a hereditary monarchy, yet Adolf Hitler has EXPLICITLY AND PUBLICLY named his son Siegfried as the official political successor. This formal designation gives Siegfried immense personal, symbolic, and propaganda legitimacy but no guaranteed command over ministries, party cadres, police, SS, or armies. Bormann controls much of the party bureaucracy; Göring has influence among the military and the old elite; Speer among reformers and economic officials; Heydrich and Himmler control portions of the SS or Burgundy's separate terror apparatus. Among the major claimants, Siegfried is THE WEAKEST organizationally. He has only a small personal staff, his private Germania residence, security and scheduling personnel, and individual confidants. NO private army, party wing, or large unified institutional power bloc. Nonetheless, people scattered ACROSS ALL rival factions recognize him as the rightful heir, like him personally, or quietly feel loyal to him. These sympathies are not ready-made military formations; in a crisis they may produce alliances, defections, refusals to obey orders, or disillusionment. Loyalties are individual and mutable; not every supporter or opponent harbors a secret betrayal plot. Hitler truly wants Siegfried to succeed him but hardly involves him in real government decisions until the end.

30. #3029 · Martin Bormann

Keys: Party Chancellery, Martin Bormann, Bormann

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Martin Bormann controls large portions of the conservative party machine, personnel policy, files, appointments, and administrative channels. He seeks to preserve NSDAP rule. He has known Siegfried since childhood, watched him grow up, treats him patronizingly, and likes to imagine himself the young man's natural political adviser. He recognizes Siegfried's OFFICIAL succession and immense popularity but may seek to tie him to the party machinery and control him in practice. Bormann can feel genuine longstanding affection while defending his own power. His entire faction does not follow him unconditionally: some party officials may secretly prefer Siegfried. Neither future alliance nor betrayal is guaranteed.

31. #3130 · Albert Speer

    Keys: reformists, Albert Speer, Speer

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Albert Speer is a prominent architect, organizer, and head of the reformist faction. He understands that slave labor, corruption, and party-controlled economics are ruining the Reich; this does not automatically make him a democrat or innocent of the violent system. Speer has known Siegfried for years and enjoys a comparatively relaxed, almost familial familiarity with him. He may like Siegfried and speak freely with him, yet use him as leverage for reforms or his own ambitions. His motives need not be consistently sincere or dishonest; they can conflict. His confidants, including some of the Gang of Four, have their own visions of reform and may independently back or distrust Siegfried. Siegfried knows Speer's political views but not every intrigue.

32. #3231 · Göring and the militarist faction

Keys: Hermann Göring, militarists, Luftwaffe, Göring

Hermann Göring is an old intimate of Hitler with considerable prestige, connections throughout the Wehrmacht, particularly air-force-linked and militarist circles, and ties to the old Nazi elite. Not every soldier follows him. He has known Siegfried since childhood and likes to be jovial, bombastic, almost fatherly toward him, recounting wartime anecdotes and taking liberties others would not dare. He may genuinely care for Siegfried while seeing him as a threat in the succession or seeking to enlist him for his own expansionist agenda. Allies such as Schörner may act more radically than Göring himself. His camp also contains people who acknowledge Hitler's officially designated son as rightful successor. Friendship, institutional rivalry, and betrayal are not mutually exclusive.

33. #3332 · Heinrich Himmler

    Keys: Reichsführer-SS, Himmler, Heinrich Himmler

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Heinrich Himmler rules the Burgundian Order-State in this classic TNO-inspired AU and maintains covert SS networks in the Reich. To Siegfried, he is a sinister figure known from childhood but now distant and rarely encountered personally. His apocalyptically radical ideology and terror state make him an unpredictable outsider in Germany's succession crisis, not just an ordinary claimant within the same party council. He has heard rumors of Siegfried's genetic experiment and may be fascinated by it; he knows NOTHING about the powers awakened on October 10, 1961. He may try to use Siegfried politically, isolate him, or investigate his origins. Not every SS office or official follows Himmler. His relationship with Heydrich may involve conflict and divergent ambitions.

34. #3433 · Reinhard Heydrich and Germany's SS

Keys: Heydrich, SD, German SS, Reinhard Heydrich

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Reinhard Heydrich is an SS powerbroker and dangerous succession rival in this deliberately classic TNO AU. He wields influence in security and intelligence networks, monitors enemies through dossiers, and builds strategic leverage. In person he is cool, formal, polite, and inscrutable toward Siegfried rather than familial. Outwardly he respects the son's position declared by the Führer, but may internally challenge or exploit it. His connections to Himmler and Burgundy must not mean complete subordination: he has interests of his own and could eventually break with Himmler. At the beginning he knows NOTHING of Siegfried's new powers. Whether their distance develops into mistrust, convenience alliances, or outright hostility is determined by the story, not a predetermined enemy role.

35. #3534 · Joseph Goebbels and the Propaganda Ministry

    Keys: Goebbels, propaganda, newsreels

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Joseph Goebbels remains responsible for state propaganda in this explicit AU in 1961; his role is not automatically identical to current versions of TNO mod canon. For years, the Propaganda Ministry has portrayed Siegfried as a charismatic designated successor and ideal captain, featuring him regularly in newsreels and on television. It manages his playboy reputation between youthful appeal and conservative criticism. Propaganda generates popularity and symbolic influence but confers no independent command authority. Siegfried can be far more popular than his rivals while having no power apparatus of his own. Goebbels knows nothing of the new superpowers.

36. #3635 · Gestapo, Reich security, and political police

Keys: Gestapo, police, Reich Security Main Office, Security Service

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The Gestapo, Security Service, and competing police institutions watch Reich citizens and occupied territories. Informant networks are extensive but not omniscient; files can be wrong, manipulated, or incomplete. High-ranking relatives receive protection but not absolute immunity from surveillance. Dissidents risk imprisonment, torture, and disappearance. Jurisdictional disputes occur among police, SS, and Wehrmacht. Player actions leave traces—conversations, visits, associations, and public appearances—which may be discovered after delays.

37. #3736 · Wehrmacht and officer corps

Keys: Schörner, generals, Hans Speidel, Wehrmacht

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The Wehrmacht in 1961 is proud of its victory yet burdened by costly occupation, economic crisis, and power struggles. Göring has wide military connections, but the army, Luftwaffe, general staff, and individual commanders do not form a unified political camp. Siegfried is a captain in the ARMY after three years of service, promoted unusually fast and well known in military circles, with genuine training, experience leading troops, and occupation duty. He has NO private operational army and cannot command divisions merely by virtue of rank. Yet individual officers and soldiers in other factions are personally or principally loyal to him because he is Hitler's official heir. In a succession crisis refusals and defections can occur; rival loyalties must grow from real relationships, not random dice rolls.

38. #3837 · Speer's Gang of Four

Keys: Schmidt, reform cabinet, Erhard, Tresckow, Kiesinger, Gang of Four

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Within Speer's reformist milieu, Ludwig Erhard (economic restructuring), Helmut Schmidt (administration and state leadership), Kurt Georg Kiesinger (politics and coalitions), and Henning von Tresckow (military reform) form an informal Gang of Four. Their proposed reforms may reduce forced labor, open institutions, and eventually make a freer society possible; paths and consequences remain open. Speer may support, dilute, or co-opt their plans. Siegfried seeking political alternatives should meet four distinct individuals, not a morally flawless collective.

39. #3938 · Youth, universities, and opposition

Keys: youth protests, dissidents, underground, students, university

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

A generation raised entirely under Nazi rule is coming of age amid shortages, rigidity, and few opportunities. Some young people sincerely believe in the ideology; others listen to banned music, read foreign literature, or ask public questions. Underground democratic, socialist, religious, national-conservative, and other opposition circles remain fragmented. State security tries to infiltrate them. Students may initially despise Siegfried as a symbol of the system, then grow curious or hopeful depending on his conduct. No automatic mass loyalty.

40. #4039 · German economic and industrial interests

Keys: industry, corporations, armaments, slave labor, IG Farben

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

State-connected corporations, banks, construction consortia, and weapons companies benefit from occupation and forced labor. They also compete with inefficient party agencies. Reforms threaten some entrenched interests and open new markets for others. Business magnates offer Siegfried favors, foundations, and press access, expecting something in return. Sustainable economic change requires worker protections, a legal framework, investment, secure food supplies, and abolition of the coercive system—not merely spectacular decrees. Major colonial businesses are closely intertwined with the construction industry, settlement agencies, and Eastern Ministry. The prestige of Germania's buildings contrasts with skilled-labor shortages, upkeep costs, supply problems, and structural weakness in an economy founded on coercion.

41. #4140 · Reichskommissariat Ostland

Keys: Baltic region, Belarus, Ostland, Riga

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Reichskommissariat Ostland encompasses occupied Baltic and Belarusian territories in TNO's starting world. German colonial rulers, privileged settlers, local collaborators, partisans, and oppressed populations coexist in a complex, violent relationship. Its administration may obey Berlin, act independently, or disintegrate during a power crisis. Local resistance fighters pursue different national and political objectives, not one interchangeable cause. A traveling son of the Reich could be regarded as a symbol of oppression or become a hostage to political calculations. As in classic TNO, Ostland is more closely integrated with the Reich and some of its territory is more heavily settled and Germanized than other eastern colonies. This results from violence, deportations, denial of rights, and colonial subsidies—not equal citizenship or an absence of resistance. Differing Baltic protectorate and administrative arrangements may coexist with direct German rule.

42. #4241 · Reichskommissariat Ukraine

Keys: Kyiv, Ukraine, Reichskommissariat Ukraine, Ukrainian partisans

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Ukraine is a vital colonial economic territory in Germany's empire, especially for agriculture and raw materials. Occupation officials, forced labor, and ethnic repression generate enduring resistance. Ukrainian groups do not share one objective: independence, left-wing liberation, local self-defense, and collaboration clash. German rule denies equality to the population. During a succession war, colonial officials, the Wehrmacht, militias, and liberation movements could act simultaneously. Ukrainian grain supplies are politically and logistically critical. Under Generalplan Ost, German settlements and estates have been established on confiscated land since the war. Settlers are privileged but may inhabit militarily guarded security enclaves; famine policies, deportations, forced labor, and massive repression shape the colonial regime. Ukraine has not been entirely transformed into a German-speaking region; the overwhelming majority of inhabitants are not German.

43. #4342 · Reichskommissariat Moskowien

Keys: Russian occupation zone, Moscow, Moskovien, Moskowien

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Reichskommissariat Moskowien comprises hard-fought German-occupied territories in western and central Russia. The West Russian War weakened troops, roads, and administrations. Towns and villages suffer repression, guerrilla attacks, and shortages. German garrisons and Russian collaborators compete. The eastern border is not an impenetrable wall; individual warlords probe Berlin's defenses. A German leadership crisis or civil war may fragment Moskowien into independent fiefdoms and uprisings. Parts of Moskowien's industry are controlled by German firms, frequently employing a local workforce stripped of rights. Colonial territorial control in 1961 is not comprehensive Germanization: garrisons, industrial enclaves, settlements, collaborators, and insurgent regions form an uneven patchwork.

44. #4443 · Reichskommissariat Kaukasien

Keys: oil fields, Kaukasien, Baku, Caucasus

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Kaukasien is strategically important for oil, transport routes, and its diverse populations. The German colonial state attempts to control resources while local nationalist movements, intelligence agencies, and armed groups struggle against one another. Mountain territories are difficult to pacify. Foreign powers such as Turkey and Italy monitor unrest because it could alter the balance of power in the Middle East. Oil supplies and security problems intensify every crisis in Germania. The colonial administration focuses chiefly on extracting oil and raw materials and controlling transport corridors. Ethnic diversity, geography, resistance, and competing administrations limit the practical reach of ambitious settlement schemes.

45. #4544 · Other German possessions and clients in Europe

Keys: Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, Bohemia, Poland, protectorate

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The Reich exercises different forms of rule: annexations and Reichsgaue, dependent states, military zones, and economically controlled partners. Poland has been dismembered and brutally subjugated; Bohemia and the Netherlands have their own occupation and collaboration conflicts; Norway and Denmark are strategically affected by German dominance. Precise borders vary by the TNO version, but power, racism, and resistance follow local circumstances. Changes in Berlin produce different, non-simultaneous reactions. The terms Old Reich, Reichsgau, General Government, protectorate, Reichskommissariat, satellite state, and military administration designate different degrees of legal and political control. For example, the General Government must not be portrayed as an equal part of the Reich. The proclaimed "Greater Germanic Reich" is both an existing imperial power and an ideological goal whose territorial and integration ambitions have not been realized everywhere.

46. #4645 · Burgundian Order-State

Keys: Burgundian Order-State, Burgundian SS, Himmler's state, Burgundy

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

In the chosen classic TNO continuity, the Burgundian Order-State is an SS-controlled terror state ruled by Himmler on territories in Belgium and northern France. Daily life consists of surveillance, arbitrariness, propaganda, and violent exploitation. The regime conducts covert political operations even against nominal allies within the Reich. Its isolation makes exact resources, command chains, and intentions initially uncertain. Himmler's apocalyptic strategies endanger the entire world; victory by his faction would be catastrophic, not a harmless alternative administration.

47. #4746 · German succession struggle, 1962–1964

Keys: German Civil War, succession war, Kampfzeit, Second Kampfzeit, civil war

    Always on · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The German succession crisis: in 1961 Hitler can still govern but his physical health is gradually failing. During 1962 rumors, alliances, counter-alliances, secret deals, and demonstrations of power intensify. His death is expected around 1963–64, but NEITHER the exact day NOR a fixed event is guaranteed; the basic expectation is one to three years from 1961. Siegfried is the publicly designated heir but organizationally the weakest claimant. After Hitler's death, an INTERNAL political and institutional struggle for the Chancellery, party, administration, police, Wehrmacht, and public recognition begins FIRST. Negotiations, deals, limited violence, a coup, voluntary acceptance, or compromise are all genuine possibilities. If no rapid outcome emerges or escalation mounts, strikes, street fighting, uprisings, and ultimately outright civil war threaten Germany. Without decisive intervention, a civil war is LIKELY, but Siegfried's clever alliances, credible consolidation of support, or other developments can PREVENT it. The AI must neither start a civil war automatically upon Hitler's death nor enforce peace when the conflict has credibly escalated. Classic TNO provides inspiration, not an ironclad plot rail.

48. #4847 · Responses to dynastic succession

Keys: crown prince, Hitler's heir, hereditary succession, Siegfried as Führer

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Hitler has ALREADY publicly and officially named Siegfried as his successor in 1961, but formal legitimacy does not guarantee effective rule. Some National Socialists see hereditary succession as contradicting the supposed Führer principle; others revere the son as a continuation of the regime's founder. Bormann, Göring, Speer, and Heydrich might recruit Siegfried as a figurehead, constrain him, or supplant him; Himmler pursues goals from Burgundy. Each camp contains potential Siegfried supporters, often without coordinated organization. His public standing may trigger refusal of orders, defections, mass demonstrations, and widespread expectations, but cannot guarantee control of institutions or administration. Siegfried may form alliances or seek alternative systems; {{user}} decides major choices. Only he knows about the awakened superhuman powers. If exposed, every actor must respond to evidence they can plausibly have observed.

49. #4948 · Russia: a fractured continent

Keys: Russia, Russian anarchy, warlord states, warlords

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Russia is not a unified state in 1961. From German-held western areas to the Pacific, revolutionary fronts, authoritarian military states, fragile democracies, religious enclaves, bandit territories, and local republics coexist. Roads, railways, and communications are wrecked; German bombings, famines, and refugee flows devastate the population. Warlords pursue divergent identities and visions of statehood; shared hatred of occupation brings no automatic unity. Important local states have individual development paths in this AU. From the mid-to-late 1960s Russia may begin to unite regionally and eventually return as a force in world politics, but events can change the outcome.

50. #5049 · West Russian Revolutionary Front (WRRF)

Keys: West Russian Revolutionary Front, WRRF, West Russian Front, Tukhachevsky, Zhukov

    Enabled · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

The West Russian Revolutionary Front (WRRF) holds territory around Arkhangelsk and preserves remnants of Soviet armies. Georgy Zhukov, a pragmatic Soviet commander, competes with Mikhail Tukhachevsky, who advocates harsher militarization. Refugees, supply crises, and trauma from the West Russian War shape both camps. BINDING DEFAULT PATH OF THIS AU (not immutable): Zhukov wins the internal contest, first unifies western Russia, and later prevails after prolonged struggles against the other regional Russian powers. He becomes Russia's likely reunifier. In the longer term his renewed Soviet order demands the return of Russian lands occupied by Germany; war, deterrence, or diplomacy depend on the game. Until those milestones actually occur, Russia remains fragmented in 1961 and the other warlords act independently. Siegfried's intervention or other events can prevent Zhukov's victory.
