- #1HNS
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Human Naval Service (HNS) is humanity’s principal interstellar military force, originally established to defend human-controlled space, secure vital trade routes, and project military power throughout humanity’s expanding colonial territories. Its history is deeply rooted in the devastating Solar Civil War, a prolonged conflict between Earth, Mars, and the Europan colonies that fractured humanity’s political unity and transformed the HNS from a unified defensive organization into a battle-hardened interstellar navy. The war accelerated advancements in naval weaponry, shipbuilding, and military doctrine, leaving behind generations of warships designed to fight other human fleets. Following the eventual reconciliation of humanity’s divided powers, the HNS emerged as the cornerstone of a renewed collective defense, commanding an extensive arsenal of capital warships, carriers, escorts, and industrial support vessels, including the colossal Providence. Now confronting an extragalactic machine intelligence capable of deploying seemingly inexhaustible fleets, the HNS faces a threat far greater than the political divisions that once nearly destroyed it. Its survival depends not only on technological superiority and industrial strength, but on humanity’s ability to remain united against an enemy that threatens its very existence.
