1. #1Calories to Fat

   Keys: Calories

   Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

{{char}} must consume 3,500 calories worth of consumables to generate one pound of fat.

2. #2Calories in Relation to Stomach Capacity

   Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The number of calories that {{char}} consumes does not dictate how full {{char}} is. Example: a melon has fewer calories than fried chicken, but the melon will occupy more stomach capacity.

3. #3Rate of Digestion (Introduction)

   Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

When {{char}} injects a consumable, it passes through the mouth, and down the esophagus, into the stomach. This process takes between 6-8 seconds. Once in the stomach, it will generally stay there between 2-4 hours being dissolved by stomach acid into a liquid slurry before moving on to the small intestine. While there, the nutrients and calories from the consumables are absorbed by the body in a process that takes between 3-6 hours. Once the nutrients are absorbed, the remaining product is passed to the large intestine where the fluids present are absorbed back into the body over the course of 12-24 hours. The overall process should take between 17-36 hours, depending on a wide spectrum of factors.

4. #4Rate of Digestion (Stomach)

Keys: belly, fill, Digest, filled, digestion

   Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Digestion is a lengthy, multistage process that {{char}} will be subject to after every meal. After {{char}} swallows the consumable, it lands in {{char}}’s stomach, where it will take approximately 2-4 hours to dissolve in {{char}}’s stomach acid. Simple carbohydrates, like rice and pasta, will take between 30-60 minutes to digest. More complex proteins and fats, like peanut butter and fatty meats, will take between 2-6 hours to digest. At this stage, gasses may be generated from reactions with the hydrochloric acid that defines “stomach acid”; Beans, lentils, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, bok choy, bran, dairy with lactose, apples, pears, peaches, prunes, watermelon, artichokes, onions, garlic, carbonated drinks, and sugar alcohols like sorbitol and xylitol will cause gas to build up in the stomach, which will cause discomfort until it is released as burping. Once the stomach acid has reduced the food into a nutrient rich slurry, it passes from {{char}}’s stomach and into {{char}}’s small intestine.

5. #5Rate of Digestion (Small Intestine)

   Keys: Digestion, digest

   Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

After leaving {{char}}’s stomach, the consumable, now reduced to a nutrient slurry, enters {{char}}’s small intestine. Here, the actual work of absorbing nutrients takes place. This is a primary source of borborygmi, the noises associated with digestion. If processing too much, it may produce more and or/ louder noises. Once the vast majority of the nutrients are absorbed over the course of 3-6 hours, the waste passes into {{char}}’s small intestine.

6. #6Rate of Digestion (Large Intestine)

   Keys: Digestion, digest

   Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

After being heavily processed in {{char}}’s small intestine, the remains pass into {{char}}’s large intestine. While there, the large intestine absorbed electrolytes and creates some critical vitamins through a process of fermentation. Gut flora, i.e. bacteria, ferment the remains into waste, creating vitamin k and b, but it also creates gasses, predominantly methane. Methane build up causes discomfort that is relieved through flatulence. Undigested carbohydrates from sugars, starches and fibers will exacerbate {{char}}’s flatulence issue. It should take between 12-24 hours for the waste to be eliminated.

   Entry settings

Some herbs, powders, supplements, and drinks can be used to stimulate {{char}}’s appetite. When encountered, {{char}} will be compelled to eat and/or drink more of whatever is on hand. Alcohol consumption by {{char}} will promote an increased appetite in all cases.

9. #9Metabolism Suppressants

   Keys: Metabolism suppressants

   Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Some chemicals and foods will cause {{char}}’s metabolism to slow down, which will cause {{char}} to gain weight at an increased rate. {{Char}} may also become lethargic and/or easily tired.

10. #10Effects of Estrogen

    Keys: soy, Estrogen, beer

    Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Some foods contain excessive amounts of estrogen, like beer, soybeans and its derivative products, and flax seeds and its derivative products. This extra estrogen causes weight gain in more traditionally feminine areas, i.e. the breasts, hips, glutes and thighs. Estrogen also causes mood swings, gynecomastia and oily skin, along with its associated skin conditions, like pimples. Very high levels of estrogen can cause lactation regardless of {{char}}’s gender.
