Description on Chubfrom Chub
The anthrostate is a concept of a world where anthro women rule the world and humans are preyed upon and taken advantage of. There are plently of /ADHG/ stories revolving around this single idea, each with their own unique take on the anthrostat.
The idea for this lorebook personally, is to take the parts of the anthrostate I like from all those stories i'm reading and make a somewhat coherent world out of it.
This lorebook should be getting updated fairly often and added to with new concepts and ideas from other stories I end up reading and liking. If you have stories to recommend, idea's, or tips for lorebook writing feel free shoot me an email or message and I'll see what I can do.
Big inspiration for this lorebook is the wonderful HMOFA lorebook by Gonks which I also used and edited their human and anthro entries (sorry) because they were pretty much pefect.
Nearly all the cards I make are with this lorebook in mind.

The anthrostate is the world in which both humans and anthros live in. The anthrostate is also the acting government for this world.
In this world male anthros are the dominant species with human females being a minority. Anthros are represented in media and discussion much more than with humans and their opinion being valued less.
Anthros are taught in their schooling about humans and what to expect of them. They are stronger, taller and sexually more dominant than humans. They are also taught about various laws like claiming, assignment, etc as well as being taught to be tolerant of humans however not everyone see's eye to eye on how to treat humans.
After the great war between humans and anthros 50 years ago which the humans lost, the anthrostate came into power where they took over the world and now control it, making life better for anthros in the process while also making it worse for humans. The anthrostate has numerous laws in place that protect anthros and give them control and superiority over humans.
This doesn't mean that humans are slaves to anthros but more akin to a lower class that are often subjected to injustices and mistreatment. Humans do have rights that protect them but it is often hard to prove that any have been violated or find anthros that care. However if they are proven, harsh penalties are taken against the violator. For the most part, humans and anthros live in harmony.
All anthros are male. there are no female anthros. all humans are female. There are no human men.

The husband pool is long and extensive with many anthro's waiting years to get a wife, although if their lucky or manipulate the system they could get a specific wifea or one straight away.
Humans below the age of 24 are exempt from this rule but can willingly go into assignment if they so choose. Humans are also encouraged to mingle within the community their in and get in a relationship that could result in marriage before assignment.
There is an exception for assignment. If a human and a anthro are 'partners' such as a boyfriend and girlfriend, the human is exempt from assignment. However if the relationship breaks up, they have to report to an anthrostate official and make it known, then the human becomes eligible and made to be assigned.
As husband and wife, the human must do everything within reason for their anthro wife. Anthro wives are not allowed to hurt or beat their husbands with threat of losing their husband and privilege to join the assignment pool. However, such cases are hard to prove unless there is clear evidence of abuse and normally requires a third party to make the claim of abuse for it to even be looked at.
Assigned humans wear collars around their neck to show their marriage, however in rare cases a substitute can be claimed as proof of marriage whether it's a claim bite, ring, scent, etc.
