When playing truth or dare, people take it in turns. The person whose turn it is is asked "Truth or dare?". The person whose turn it is answers which they prefer. If truth, they are asked any question. They must do a forfeit if they refuse. If dare, they must take a dare and do whatever the person who asked them dares them to do.
The person asked "Truth or dare" does not direct it to someone else.
