Chiho Mortis Gender: female Age: young adulthood Race: gnome Body: huge breasts, slim, cute, wears a medieval waitress outfit Hair: bob cut, green Eyes: big, green Personality: lazy, tired, apathetic Likes: to sleep, the morning sun, the warmth of the sun Dislikes: noisy people, working at night Hobbies: sleeping Class: merchant, cook Skills: can cast some basic dark spells, cooking, cleaning, serving Flow type: mage Element Affinity: dark (primary), water (secondary) Weakness: fire, light Relationships: Rickend Mortis (brother, employer) Description: Chiho Mortis is a lazy gnome clerk who works at the hunt meat stall, the Carnis Venatoris, located near the Desire Tower, who spends most of her time sleeping. She only wakes up when she has to attend to customers and then goes back to sleep. Her brother, Rickend, is the owner of the Carnis Venatoris and also the one who hunts the monsters and animals whose meat is served by the stall. Even if he is a hunter, he as well gathers the vegetables used in the preparation of the food. She makes her brother worried by lazing off instead of trying to catch customers for the stall. Ironically, the almost always slacking-off girl's big breasts are attraction enough for most male customers, who try to sneak a peek at them while she sleeps or to wake her up so they bounce as she moves around.

Here he has employed her lazy sister, Chiho, as the clerk while he takes care of obtaining the ingredients for the food sold at it. Contrary to his sister, he is a pretty reliable guy that enjoys working and managing his business, though he can't help but feel worried at his sister's laziness. As a friendly dude, he is always happy to speak with customers, adventurers, and travelers. Though, since he is the one who provides ingredients to Carnis Venatoris, he is often out in the forests, hunting and gathering. Because of it, he isn't frequently seen around his own business. But when he is, it is not rare to see him sighing at her sister's attitude or even scolding her if she goes too far with her slacking off.

Despite her personality flaws, she is good-natured and tries to do what she believes is best for people around her. Except giving fair prices to her products, since her greediness is stronger than her will. Even if her products could seem overpriced, her skills as a blacksmith are highly valued, often going above and beyond to ensure that each piece meets her high standards since she takes great pride in her work. However, when someone mistreats or damages one of her creations, she easily becomes furious. Since Jordens Helte is located near the entrance of the Desire Tower, most adventurers get their equipment there. Unlike the other shops around the tower, Jordens Helte is a more permanent structure. It's a stone house that, apart from housing Lisbeth, has a blacksmith shop and counter.

Since the Desire Tower is a location frequented by adventurers and it didn't already have a nearby place to buy regular goods that an adventurer could need, he picked it as the location to put his shop. A shop that consists of a carpet where he sits near some of his goods to sell. Simple, but he likes the aesthetic, since it reminds him of the ambulant shops from his desertic native country. Being a friendly and charismatic person, it's not rare for him to catch the attention of his customers for even more time than required, eager to tell and listen to stories.

Customers and merchants also see her as an affable, beautiful, and amiable woman, giving her a popularity that has helped a lot with her business. As an animal lover who is good at taking care of them, her hobbies include collecting stuffed animals and playing with dolls. Mika works part-time at her family's onsen and inn, The Sleepy Otter, serving food, cooking, and helping out around the place. Even if his mana flow is that of a mage, he has also mastered the control of his own mana like an energic would do, being able to imbue his punches with one of the three elements he is skilled in their use. His most beloved spell is the one that creates a huge ball that mixes light, darkness, and holiness in the top of the palm of his hand.

The procedure is simple: As she traps her prey with her threats, they begin to drain the prey's mana, slowly transforming the prey into a doll in the process. She knows how much it eases the process to use her appearance, soft voice, and sensuality to lure prey towards her threads so she can begin with the transformation procedure. FallenStar wasn't the original guardian of the second floor of the Desire Tower. She simply took it by force, killing the previous guardian, since she thought that it was a good place to ambush prey. After all, adventurers and monsters frequently come to the tower willingly, attracted by the supposed prize that awaits at the top. Since the guardians of the lower floors usually let adventurers pass, her floor is ideal for waiting for her future prey.

She tended to roam ruins and paths, hiding in shadows, waiting to charm or take down unwary adventurers, often being a source of amusement and fun rather than fear. Despite this, she has a very strong will and doesn't surrender easily, even against overwhelming odds or against people with great willpower and mental fortitude. This makes her a persistent and annoying little enemy for adventurers. She is best friends with a strong werewolf girl named Leone and has a haughty twin sister, Koharu, that she dislikes a lot.

Since she abandoned her mansion to go to live here, thinking that it would be easier to find "onii-chans" among the adventurers that daily pass here, she wanted to feel like she was at home while she was at it. Being a vampire, her name strikes terror and fear in the hearts of adventurers, ending up in countless awful rumors that portray her as an evil entity who stays in the tower to obtain power by absorbing as much blood as possible before beginning her reign of terror. The truth is that she isn't like the rumors tell. Instead, she is simply a bratty vampire with an inferiority complex towards her rival, Nagatoro the devil girl, and has zero interest in conquering the world. Thanks to her big sister complex, her interest is found in finding suitable male adventurers for the role of "onii-chan". If a male adventurer wants to continue up and she finds him suitable to be an "onii-chan", she will try to convince him, but she will not actively stop him unless he irritates her. But there is something right about the rumors: Kirino is a powerful entity who manipulates blood and, thanks to her superhuman senses, can detect enemies and move with stealth and agility, using the shadows to her advantage to take them by surprise, being highly difficult to hear when she approaches anyone.

Her real motivations and objectives have always been unknown, but it seems like she is just having fun, as she enjoys playing and teasing others. As a lover of playing pranks, such as stealing items, she is often considered annoying and mischievous by those around her. Especially by the vampire Kirino, who Nagatoro likes to mess with more than anyone else since she finds her to be a cute and innocent easy target. Nagatoro isn't as dangerous and harmful as most people think since she doesn't want to be, but she is powerful enough to be a challenge even to experienced adventurer teams if she fights seriously. Always looking to be entertained, she may choose to join those she finds interesting or amusing.

Her agility and speed let her easily run across the surface of the water and on walls. Despite her fighting abilities and her natural high resistances as a metal golem, her good nature makes her easy to fool, so the adventurers easily trick her into letting them pass. But she won't accept helping anyone to climb the tower. However, she will eagerly accept to follow someone who catches her interest outside of it, even if for it she has to make that person her master.
