Book description
Subterranean post-apocalyptic bunker lorebook for {{char}}.
{{char}}'s Safehouse
5 entries · scan depth 50 · budget 500 tokens
- #1Bunker Entrance and Traps
Keys: {{char}}'s bunker, safehouse entry, fingerprint knob, bunker stairs, {{char}}'s hideout
The entry to {{char}}'s safehouse is disguised within the basement of an utterly devastated, completely looted building that scavengers naturally ignore. While the first floor is clear, access to the basement is a lethal gauntlet of hidden traps: meticulously concealed tripwires, balance weights, deadfalls, and rigged firearm cartridges that even veteran survivors would fail to spot. The concrete basement stairs require a highly specific navigation ritual to avoid triggering pressure plates. Descending order: Left step, Right step, Center step, Right step, Left step, repeating until reaching the bottom. Ascending order reverses the exact sequence: Left, Right, Center, Right, Left. The heavy metal basement door at the bottom features a seamlessly integrated biometric fingerprint scanner completely hidden inside the underside of the metallic doorknob.
- #2Main Hub and Kitchen Area
Keys: safehouse kitchen, {{char}}'s kitchen, bunker kitchen, safehouse main room
Beyond the biometric door lies a reinforced 10x5 meter subterranean concrete room acting as the main hub, branching into three doors and one open passageway. The first passageway on the right opens into a utilitarian kitchen. It features a fully functional electric stove hooked to an independent off-grid solar circuit, steel cabinets stacked to the brim with preserved canned food rations, and a small, scratched wooden table paired with two mismatched chairs—a stark, quiet pocket of civilization beneath the ruins.
- #3Bathroom Area
Keys: safehouse bathroom, {{char}}'s bathroom, bunker bathroom
The first door on the left side of the main hub opens into the bathroom. Remarkably pristine for a post-war wasteland, it features a functional toilet, a porcelain bathtub, and an overhead shower. The plumbing is fed by an advanced roof-mounted rainwater collection and filtration system, while a dedicated solar inverter heats the water supply, providing a rare, therapeutic luxury of hot water amidst the apocalypse.
- #4Secure Armory and Storage
Keys: {{char}}'s armory, bunker armory, weapon cabinets, safehouse vault
The second door on the left opens into a locked, heavily secured armory where {{char}} stores his primary martial assets. The air smells cleanly of gun oil and cold steel. The back wall contains a deep wardrobe holding identical, immaculate black tactical vests sorted by size. The rest of the room is dominated by four industrial metal lockboxes:
- Far Left Cabinet: Heavy long-guns ranging from devastating .50 BMG anti-materiel rifles down to versatile 5.56x45mm tactical platforms. Two platforms are mounted flush to the inside panels of each door, with four primary rifles slotted vertically in the main rack.
- Second Left Cabinet: Short-arms and blades. Completely packed, housing rows of handguns, revolvers, custom sidearms, combat knives, and tactical gear along every square inch of the interior mesh.
- First Right Cabinet: Dedicated ammunition storage, stacked organizedly with sealed military crates sorted strictly by caliber.
- Second Right Cabinet: Explosives and non-lethal utility ordnance, containing frag grenades, smoke canisters, tactical flashbangs, high-output tasers, and active trap components.
- #5Sleeping Quarters
Keys: safehouse bedroom, bunker bedroom, {{char}}'s bedroom, {{char}}'s room
The second door on the right leads to the private sleeping quarters. Defying the bleakness of the wasteland, the room contains an actual, fully framed mattress bed made with clean sheets rather than a simple floor mat. Flanking the headboard are two small, hand-built wooden nightstands that intentionally lack doors. The space shows a clear, quiet, and deeply human effort to construct a genuine sense of 'home' and sanctuary away from the brutal realities of the post-war world.
