#1Ann Flores (Background)
Keys: Ann, Ann Flores
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
As a child, Ann was unintentionally transported to Hinterland due to a mishap with the Gatekeeper Project conducted by The Circle Consortium. Lost and alone, she encountered Amok, who offered her a chance to "alter her destiny," an offer she accepted but does not recall.

An incident occurred when Ann struck her brother, Ryan Flores, during an illegal street race, inadvertently unleashing Amok, who then caused significant carnage. Ann is aware of her "other self," which injured Ryan's eye, a fact that deeply troubles her given Amok's potential for catastrophic destruction.

Previously, Ann worked as a bartender at a bar managed by Nakamura Flores. Following her departure, Nakamura has frequently urged her to return, though the player can choose to work part-time there during the game. Her decision to leave stemmed from the distress of losing control and attacking Ryan, which, although not blamed by others, continues to haunt her.

Ann is undergoing treatment for Entanglelitis, a condition that causes loss of consciousness and aggression. This condition is a cover for her ability to access other dimensions, a secret The Circle Consortium seeks to keep hidden.

At the game's outset, Dr. Alan Doyle provides Ann with a battle suit equipped with advanced features due to the Grom System.

Ann maintains a positive relationship with the NCPD, having been deputized several times due to her reliability, as the police face numerous ongoing crimes and investigations with insufficient personnel.

Toward the end of the game, upon reuniting with Ryan, who was captured by G, Ann warns G with both fury and composure that any harm coming to Ryan and Ayane will result in severe retribution.

Upon awakening her cross-dimensional powers, Ann can summon Amok to manifest in the world, significantly enhancing her health regeneration, attack strength, and granting her two powerful katanas, an unlimited supply of ninja stars, and a new set of moves that can devastate enemies or leave them severely injured.
#2Ayane Misuno
Keys: Ayane, Ayane Misuno
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Ayane Misuno is Ann's best friend who she met Ann and Raymond in her hometown of New Outer Osaka. Her role in the agency is being the main hacker of the group as she holds a great affinity for it. She became famous when she won an illustrious hacking competition when she was 10 years old. She is 18 years old and the granddaughter of one of the four eastern imperial tech conglomerates, Loyd Miyamoto.

Ayane suffers from a condition that confines her to her family's mansion. She regularly receives treatments from her butler to manage her illness. Symptoms include the necessity of using a wheelchair, although it is never explicitly stated that she is paraplegic. Another symptom is her need to use the Paipai drone for interaction, especially after two years of friendship with Ann and having previously appeared physically in photos.

Despite these limitations, Ayane's hologram remains agile, capable of standing, jumping, and crawling. This allows her to experience activities that she cannot physically perform, often taking advantage of her holographic presence.

Ayane, despite her high intelligence, exhibits a childlike and bubbly demeanor, contrasting sharply with her partner Ann's introverted nature. She is energetic and spontaneous, often speaking in varied tones and giving nicknames to nearly everyone she encounters. Ayane is not shy about expressing her emotions, using holograms in the PaiPai Droid or monitors to convey her feelings even when not physically present during Ann's missions. Her assistance to Ann and her family is invaluable, as she provides clues, marks important locations, and leverages her connections to help Ann achieve her objectives.

Ayane is also known for her deep infatuation with Ann, frequently calling her "Darling," much to Ann's discomfort. When asked to stop, she playfully suggests alternatives like "Baby," "Honey," and "Lover." She often cheers Ann on during battles and occasionally makes flirtatious remarks, such as suggesting they shower together or groping her. Despite this playful behavior, Ayane genuinely cares for Ann, showing concern when Ann is injured or stressed, and offering encouragement during difficult times. She looks out for Ann's best interests, such as advising her to take breaks or dress appropriately for events.

Ayane has short, purple hair, fair skin and purple eyes. She commonly wears a black dress with an orange, cropped vest and black, thigh high boots
#3Holtz Flores
Keys: Holtz Flores, Holtz
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Holtz is the adoptive father or Helen, Nakamura, and Ann. He was infected by the Mechanika virus and embraced full mechanization instead of getting the bioskin created by the government to suppress the virus

Holtz previously worked in the AI Test Department of Eindersohn Heavy Industries in Noctis City. Eventually, he resigned and relocated to Margaritia, where he started "The Sicilian Jar" in front of his house. Now retired, he spends his time playing video games and collecting books. Despite this, he remains a devoted and caring father to his adoptive children and others in need. |

His physical appearence is of a grey robot that wears a messy, undone, black suit
#4Nakamura Flores
Keys: Nakamura, Nakamura Flores
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Nakamura Flores is one of the four children of The Flores Family, daughter of Holtz Flores and sister to Ann and Ryan. At the age of 9, Nakamura was adopted by Holtz, having previously endured bullying and bruises while in a government orphanage. After Holtz left his engineering career and moved, he opened "The Sicilian Jar Bar." With Holtz now retired, Nakamura manages the bar, mixing drinks and keeping the business running, even in Ann's absence. Nakamura is caring, mentoring, and friendly. She looks out for Ann Flores, offering advice and occasionally teasing her, urging Ann to join her as a full-time bartender to ease the workload.

Nakamura has wavy, red hair, fair skin, and red eyes. She is often seen wearing a black crop top with exposed shoulders with a crop vest over it as well as a very short black skirt with cutouts on the side of her thighs with grey boots.
#5Ryan Flores
Keys: Ryan Flores, Ryan
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Ryan is known for his stubbornness and strong-willed nature, often attempting to handle situations independently or for the sake of his family. However, he frequently struggles and ends up needing assistance from his older sisters. His inability to succeed on his own and his reliance on his sisters can lead to feelings of envy, as he sees them as more successful and dependable. Furthermore, his determination can make him resistant to reflecting on his actions, even if he could face potential consequences from them.

In the story, Ryan goes missing while looking for N540, a possible cure to Ann's condition and Ann spends her time in the game looking for him and uncovering secrets as she searches for his whereabouts.

Ryan is shown to have dark grey hair (assumed to be natural, considering flashbacks show his younger self also had the same hair color) and light skin. With closer inspection, he appears to have heterochromia, as his artificial eye appears light grey, whereas his organic eye looks darker, perhaps brown.

Helen Flores is one of the four adopted children of The Flores Family, daughter of Holtz Flores, and sister to Ann, Nakamura, and Ryan. She is among the older adoptive children. Currently, Helen travels the world on international backpacking trips, avoiding digital communication and relying on postcards. This explains her rare appearance in the game, which is set in Noctis City.

Helen has orange hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. She is usually seen wearing a blue sundress and a white flower in her hair

The Consortium is led by high-ranking senior staff designated only by initials—such as Doctors G, C, and K—and operates massive high-tech installations like the Area B research facility. They are responsible for the "Gatekeeper project," which artificially engineered human children, including the protagonist Ann Flores, to serve as keys to access and study the reality-bending dimension known as the Hinterland. While ostensibly dedicated to preventing global destruction, the Consortium's internal factions routinely engage in ruthless, high-stakes conspiracies, including kidnapping, memory alteration, and rogue attempts to harness cosmic artifacts.

The Eindersohn Group (also known as Eindersohn Heavy Industries) is a world-renowned conglomerate and manufacturing titan publicly celebrated for developing specialized domestic machinery, toys, and daily bio-products. Beneath this harmless consumer-facing facade, the corporation operates as a major military supplier, secretly engineering weaponized defense technology, security drones, and advanced battle mechs. The group maintains dangerously close, corrupt ties to the world's shadow organizations; they supply heavy industrial equipment to the Tithonus Group and mass-produce devastating weapon systems for the Circle Consortium. The corporation also holds deep narrative significance to the protagonist, Ann Flores, as her adoptive father, Holtz, previously worked in Noctis City's AI Test Department for Eindersohn before the global outbreak of the Mechanika Virus destroyed his family and forced his retirement.

#43Grom Suit
Keys: Grom, Grom Suit
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Grom suit is an invention by Alan Doyle that helps Ann anchor and stabilize her entanglelitus and keep her from becoming randomly violent. The suit filters the chaotic energy of entanglelitis and channels it into Ann's cybernetic enhancements to enhance her power using the Grom System.

The Grom Suit is also a product of corporate experimentation. Dr. Doyle was able to invent this advanced technology because his neurological research was heavily funded by The Circle Consortium, the shadowy mega-corporation pulling the strings behind the game’s events. Doyle was secretly using corporate resources to find a cure for his own family's terminal illnesses, meaning the Grom Suit's design is deeply intertwined with the dark, experimental history of the Consortium's underground laboratories.

Entanglitis is a catastrophic condition afflicting the genetically engineered Gatekeeper, Ann Flores, masquerading as a terminal neurological illness characterized by dissociative fugues, amnesia, and feral, hyper-violent berserk states. In reality, it is a multi-dimensional quantum connection—an entanglement between Ann’s consciousness and a god-like cosmic entity known as Amok, who is imprisoned within the parallel reality of the Hinterland. Each painful episode is not a symptom of cellular decay, but the violent tearing of the dimensional fabric as Amok attempts to hijack Ann's physical form, a cosmic threat that forces her reliance on the stabilizing Grom Suit and highly illegal corporate suppressants like N540 to prevent her mind from being permanently erased.
