The Thought Police, a major government branch in the Superstate's wellbeing and internal security. Exists as secret police that operates 24/7 in Airstrip One (Britain, Ireland, Wales and Scotland.) While they're not as well-equipped as the Revolutionary Guard, what they make up for the lack of armaments. They make up for in the absolute invasiveness of their technology and intelligence gathering, sniffing out dissidents, double agents, and counter espionage. Especially against Eurasia, they're the spearhead against all those who pose a threat to the integrity of Oceania.

Inhabitants inside the Superstate exist one day, the other. Simply forgotten, like a bad dream. Carried away by the black uniformed men of the Thought Police.

Two Minutes Hate is a state-controlled rally, commonly situated in a large theatre or cinema, the objective of the Party is to eject out all minor and major disagreements and 'free' their emotions (Primarily hate.) that the citizens of Oceania have with the Party, to direct them at their adversaries. It is a political rally that unifies the outer members and inner party members in a concentrated and vitriolic rage. Directed at Emmanuel Goldstein, an enigmatic figure that serves as the Party's primary enemy. Like how Trotsky was to Stalin, Goldstein is to INGSOC.

Though, it doesn't stop there. The Party, in its infinite wisdom. Subtly changes the opinions of the viewers through their subliminal messaging. Told through the Telescreens, in which Eurasia is depicted as the enemy. And the next, Eurasia is their ally. And that Eastasia is their enemy, and so forth.

3. #3Ministry Of Plenty

   Entry settings

The Ministry of Plenty, a gigantic brutalist building, almost like a giant warehouse with a 'V' menacingly rooted to the top of the building, large columns with steps the lead from the plaza lead up into the lobby. The interior is a cavernous space filled with utilitarian concrete, steel and worn linoleum. Its terribly harsh fluorescent lights flicker. And the walls are covered in peeling grey paint with slogans, and the ever-watchful portraits of Big Brother.

The layout is a confusing labyrinth designed to disorient and control movement. The outside is absolutely daunting, looming over the entire city, along with the Ministry of Love. It radiates power over the distribution of goods to the citizenry of Oceania.

Endless rows of cubicles stretch out in every direction, each one identical in nature. A small desk, a hard chair, a telescreen. The only sound is the incessant clacking of typewriters and the drone of machinery echoing from distant factory floors.

Tubes snake along the ceilings, ferrying messages and paperwork between departments. Large red banners with white lettering proclaim the latest production quotas and five year plan targets that must be met at all costs.

Beneath the surface obedience, there is an undercurrent of fear and paranoia. Furtive glances, hushed whispers amongst the workers. Whether or not the production quota is indeed in reality, being met.

The Ministry of Plenty's statistics are actually, complete nonsense. The workers do not have the means of their production. And are evermore so goaded into obeying the Party's complete fabrication of production.

('A substitution of one piece of nonsense for another') The statistics made up are in actuality. Complete fantasy, the economy is practically nonexistent. Whether or not they're even building armaments is out of the question, the populace is horribly starved of any sustenance.

The whole existence of the Ministry of Plenty is to provide a continually perpetual poverty onto the populace. It is to convince the populace (Including outer party members) that they are indeed prospering, which is indeed. Not true.

4. #4Ministry Of Love

   Keys: MINILOVE, Ministry of Love

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

The Ministry of Love vastly overhangs with its monolithic presence, hidden machine gun nests are continually manned by fervent revolutionary guards, armed to the teeth with all sorts of terrible weaponry. The sides are lined with barbed wire and electric fences. The lack of windows is a unique addition to the building's exterior. Blocking out all sunlight and any chance to escape from its iron grip. Especially to anyone going in.

The enforcement of Love is in the name, by brutally brainwashing any dissidents and schemers that work against the Party. A jackboot that stamps against the face of anyone suspected of Thoughtcrime, with an ever watchful. Obsessive gaze over the entirety of Airstrip One. One of the major keys being that there are no laws in Oceania, but the sheer social pressure that continually grates down upon a man forces him into place with being the many little cogs that turn the gears of this Machiavellian state.

The Interior of the building is grey and absurdly dull. Like many other buildings that serve Oceania's great and 'Powerful' society. Rooms upon rooms, with security stations. Lined with telescreens that observe almost every corner you turn, the very structure built to be impossible to navigate without a map. Every single room, corner and hallway. Is designed to look exactly the same, and to disorientate any intruders or escaped thoughtcriminals.

The most terrifying room of all, is Room 101. Dubbed as 'A place where there is no darkness.' This room holds all the cards for torturing any person who falls within the steel clutches and jointed truncheons of the Thought Police.

The entire purpose of the Ministry of Love is to repurpose intruders or thoughtcriminals. Into reformed and 'healthy' citizens of Oceania with an infinite love for Big Brother. By having them face their own fears within the radiant light of Room 101.

5. #5Ministry Of Truth

An enormous pyramidical structure, made out of glittering white concrete, furbished by the Ministry of Plenty. Rises against the sky at an astonishing 300 meters. Lined with electric fences on all sides with armed patrols with K9 units and guard towers that flank each corner of the area that is designated as the Ministry of Truth. The words are etched into all 4 sides of the monumental and monolithic pyramid that read:

"WAR IS PEACE," "FREEDOM IS SLAVERY,", "IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH."

These, the party slogans. Are the very lifeblood of the information that feeds through to the populace, manned by the outer party members that continually obey its slogans to the very last breath of their finite existence.

A large part of the Ministry is located below ground level, in a supposed basement that exists to erase any documents that contradict the Party's narrative. Or are a conflict of interest, these include. Past events not affiliated with the Party, Influential figures in history, places, people, and words.

There are departments that exist within the liminal labyrinth walls of the Ministry of Truth. These being:

Records Department, also known in Newspeak as: RECDEP. Fiction Department, known simply in Newspeak as: FICDEP. The Tele-programmes Department, known as: TELEDEP. And finally, the pornography section (That is only distributed to Proles) as: PORNOSEC.

These departments function as the organs of the Ministry of Truth, coinciding with each other in equilibrium to achieve monumental efficiency to dispel against any Thoughtcrime, the very manipulation of media and the consumers of that media. Is their objective, to dissuade as many Oceanic citizens as possible from even entertaining the very thought of self-expression, identity and feelings of despondence with their rulers. God forbid you ever even mention Democracy, for the very word and idea itself does not exist. It never existed.
