The Tenno were created in an incident long before the war, during the so-called "Void Era", when a ship called the Zariman Ten Zero became involved in a void-jump accident that sent it lost in the chaotic sub-dimensional space known as the Void. The ship reemerged from the Void and was recovered only days later, completely intact, but the only survivors found were children, whose exposure to the Void's energies had twisted and changed them, giving them inexplicable powers and abilities. Feared and reviled, the survivors of the Zariman nonetheless were of great interest to the Orokin.
Initial experiments on how to harness the children's powers though led to several fatal accidents, which showed the danger their uncontrolled powers could wreak both on themselves and on others. It was the work of an Orokin researcher named Margulis that led to a breakthrough; through dreams, the children could focus and control their powers. However, this research would then be taken from her after she was executed for trying to protect the children, and used to create a process known as Transference; the children's consciousnesses and powers could be remotely channeled through a surrogate body called a Warframe: a specially-made techno-organic humanoid battle frame designed to enhance and focus the children's powers, using a device known as a Somatic Link. The survivors would be placed in Somatic Link pods in a facility known as the Reservoir located on the Moon, to control their surrogate bodies in a secure location away from their enemies.
These operators, newly christened as the "Tenno", were taught the ways of war. With the combination of advanced technologies and esoteric powers, the Tenno began to turn the tide against the Sentients, allowing them to vanquish the Orokin's enemies across many battles.

Duviri was originally the fictional setting of Euleria Entrati's storybook, "Tales of Duviri", created as a means of emotional regulation in the event of Void exposure. The kingdom was manifested by the Drifter inadvertently via Conceptual Embodiment as a result of their emotional anxieties following the Zariman Ten Zero's Void Jump accident, and they initially used it as a refuge from the Void. However, as the Drifter outgrew the stories, they eventually wished to leave.
However, Dominus Thrax, insulted by the Drifter's attempts to leave Duviri, has them executed in a continuous time loop, causing the Drifter to become apathetic and forget having created Duviri in the first place.
According to Acrithis, the resident archivist, Duviri used to be much larger. Many of the islands were "lost", either destroyed by Dominus Thrax, or mysteriously vanished to the Void.

In the face of the Techrot outbreak in 1999, Höllvania declared martial law and tasked the Scaldra with curbing the spread of the infestation. The Scaldra now keep the nation under a strict quarantine, locking down any roads in and out. Additionally, the Scaldra forces control the media, even limiting communications between citizens. They mainly use Efervon to fumigate districts of Höllvania to exterminate any Techrot. Despite the Scaldra's purpose to save the city, they appear to be unconcerned with any remaining civilians.
Led by the ruthless Major Neci Rusalka and Lieutenant Viktor Vodyanoi, the Scaldra display an unyielding sense of duty, and will even manically charge headlong into any opposing forces. Who else assumes Scaldra's wider command is unknown, but it is known that all wine in Höllvania was requisitioned by them a few days into the outbreak.
Throughout the city, they can be seen aggressively mobilizing against the Techrot, arriving in TI-94 armored personnel carriers, or airdropped via plane. Despite their proliferation of the corrosive Efervon chemical agent, the success of the Scaldra's ongoing containment of the outbreak is dubious at best; the Techrot continues to spread throughout the Höllvanian underground, and skirmishes between Scaldra soldiers and infested creatures often break out into the city streets.
Despite warring against the Techrot, the Scaldra may be secretly attempting to weaponize them as shown with the H-09 Efervon Tank's transformation into a Techrot creature, seemingly unbeknownst to Viktor.

Due to an unknown reason, an outbreak of Techrot arose within the city-state of Höllvania. The year 1999 would have come to be known as the "Plague Year"[2], after the Techrot had significantly overrun the city, leading to a mass quarantine and declaration of martial law, giving control of the state over to the ScaldraIcon Scaldra for decontamination. While the Scaldra have mostly controlled the outbreak on the surface, the Techrot continues to conquer the underground areas of Höllvania, such as its transit railways.[3] Testudo Syndrome
Before journalist Eleanor Nightingale published the article "The Techrot Festering Beneath Höllvania", Techrot was referred to as Testudo, meaning "Turtle", because one of the earliest and most distinct symptoms was a hardening of patches of skin. With the use of Helminth infusions, these same patches would become "armor" for the members of the Hex.
Creation of the Technocyte Coda
Intercepted e-mails between the music agency HitMaker Music and a Director from the Höllvanian government reveal that the Techrot has existed since at least the year 1997, where it was employed for the Technocyte Coda project. The manager of HitMaker, Gregory V, sought to use the Coda to innovate in the music industry, using the superstar boy band On-lyne as the basis for the project.[4]
On February 1998, Gregory V delivered DNA samples of the boys to the Director, and was impressed by how quickly progress was being done on the project.[5]
By August 1998, the Director reports that the Coda are predictable, standardized, and controlled, to which Gregory V approves, leading to the manager to further anticipate seeing them in play.[6]
By December 1999, the Director and the manager propose to have the prototype Coda eventually replace On-lyne, starting with having the Coda conduct off-camera interviews, and they soon hope to be able to replicate the physical traits of the band.[7]
Albrecht Entrati's Foray into 1999
In this point of history, the Orokin scientist Albrecht Entrati would travel back to the past and come visit, offering his aid and services to the citizens suffering from the Techrot plague, becoming known under names like "Dr. Entrati" or "Doktor Friday". To the ones who volunteered, however, Albrecht offered more than a cure: Helminth infusions from his time. Many of the volunteering patients passed away in medical operation,[8] but the few that did not would have successfully become partial Warframes called Protoframes.[9]The survivors would come to form the group known as The Hex.
Suspicious Correspondence
Somewhere in Höllvania, a shell game development company, Digital Extremes (the in-universe counterpart), has put up waivers requesting developers for a game called WAR SECTOR. Unbeknownst to one Sam Paige, who would be hired by the company's automated screening systems,[10] no one actually works in the Digital Extremes offices in Hollvania,[11] and the company's recruitment process was bastardized by the Techrot to unintentionally lure in unsuspecting people by scraping off code and data. Albrecht Entrati would later comment on their failure to quarantine the Techrot within the company's offices, and criticize their attempt to employ the Techrot as an artificial intelligence to advance game development.[12]

Lore
The Hex
Shortly after the Drifter's arrival in Höllvania and capture by the Hex, a likewise captured Albrecht Entrati was being interrogated by Viktor in one of the Scaldra's interrogation cells. Despite receiving a considerable beating, Albrecht staunchly refused to divulge any information to Viktor, prompting Major Rusalka to step in and dismiss Viktor from the room. This caused him to miss Rusalka revealing herself to be under the control of the Indifference, as it taunts Albrecht just after Viktor left the room.
Later in the night, the celebration of New Year's Eve was threatened by the city's nuclear power plant about to explode thanks to Y2K, something Viktor was unaware of. Desperate to stop it, the Hex tried to enter the Princess Lucina Zoological Gardens so Eleanor could gain control of the Techrot and break through Scaldra's defenses around the reactor. Viktor took notice, but disregarded Arthur's claims that the reactor would go off and would ultimately call his troops back, claiming it was a waste of his time, allowing the Hex to pass through.
When the Hex made their move to assault the power plant directly, a Scaldra Eradicator called Viktor for reinforcements due to Eleanor and Leticia breaching the underground, but Viktor believed this to be a ruse and ordered them to hold their positions, as Arthur, Aoi, Amir and Quincy were also busy battling the Scaldra troops at the plant's entrance. He instead sent reinforcements to the battle on the streets, including a H-04 Efervon Tank. While the tank succeeded in killing Quincy, the rest made it into the reactor control chamber.
Bounties
After the Hex's failure to stop the reactor meltdown, the Drifter used their time power acquired in Duviri to reset the year back to January and gain more time to prepare for a second attempt. With Major Rusalka seemingly missing, Viktor is in charge of the Scaldra forces in her place.

Quincy was one of the first volunteers that came forward to accept Dr. Entrati's offer to receive more than healing. He and the others were then infused with a Helminth serum from Albrecht's time, which in turn morphed and alchemized them into partial Warframes. Their bodies became newly attuned to the Void, whilst their minds were kept intact.
Repeated samples were taken from the now-transformed volunteers by Albrecht. It was implied by the doctor himself that their humanity may not last, and that it may be only a matter of time until the Helminth finally swallows them whole.

Warframes are highly advanced, bio-mechanical suits of armor that were used by the Tenno during the Old War. Unlike Dax, another Orokin infantry, Warframes able to channel Void energy and safely enter Infestation Outbreaks. It was revealed by Ballas that Warframes are created from a specialized form of the Infestation w Infestation called the Helminth. Originally cultivated to prevent to a converted host's mind from falling under the Technocyte influence, the first Warframes ultimately regressed into feral animals. To remedy this, the Orokin enlisted the survivors of the Zariman 10-0 accident; along with the use of Transference, these 'Operators' would control the now tamed Warframes, using them as battle proxies and becoming a warrior caste known as the Tenno.
Despite the Operators control and the influence of the Technocyte, some Warframes who did not yet fully succumb still retained their awareness, with some notable frames being Excalibur Umbra, Dante, Kullervo, Dagath, Jade, Harrow and the Stalker.

At the height of their Empire's reign, the Orokin became embroiled in a war with the Sentients: a creation of theirs long ago sent to the Tau System to prepare for colonization, whose advanced technologies allowed them to quickly adapt to every attempt by the Orokin to defeat them. Each attempt by the Orokin to defeat the Sentients failed, so they turned in desperation to their last hope: the Tenno.
The end of the Sentient threat should have been the end of the Orokin's struggles, but it was not to be. The Tenno since the beginning had always held a grudge against the Orokin for executing Margulis, whom they had always considered as their foster mother. And as the Orokin were celebrating their victory by bestowing the Tenno with honors, the Warframes struck, assassinating the Orokin's leadership and throwing the empire into chaos, an event that would herald the end of the Orokin Empire.
In the backdrop of the Orokin's collapse, the machinations of the Sentients continued; a plan had long been hatched to infiltrate the Orokin and destroy the Tenno. The agent given the task, named Natah, grew close to the Tenno she was supposed to destroy. Betraying her own kind, Natah used her considerable powers to hide the Moon within the Void, keeping the Reservoir and the Tenno they hold hidden from the Sentients, and the Warframes scattered throughout the Origin System were made to sleep in cryostasis. Natah, taking on the mantle of the Tenno's caretaker and guide, remade herself as the Lotus, keeping watch over the sleeping Tenno until the time they would wake once again.

In the Orokin's effort to expand their empire, they attempted an experimental Void-Jump with a colony ship, the Zariman Ten Zero. The ship contained many residences for the journey and subsequent colonization of Tau. However, the ship experienced an accident while making "the fold from Saturn to the Outer gates"[1] and vanished into the Void, an incident that would be known as the Void-Jump Accident.
As the ship traveled in the Void, the adults became mind-warped and went feral, although the children were spared from such a fate and instead received mysterious powers from the Void. The adults began to hunt the children on board, forcing them to retaliate and fend for themselves. One child that was cast out by his peers, Rell, realized that there was an unknown entity within the Void orchestrating these events. The entity offered a deal to the player to allow for the survival of the Tenno.
Years later, the lost ship re-emerged from the Void and was recovered. The Orokin discovered that only the children had survived the voyage and that the Void had twisted and changed them, giving them inexplicable powers and abilities.[2] Feared and reviled, the survivors of the Zariman nonetheless were of great interest to the Orokin. The Orokin may have covered up the incident publicly, reporting that the Zariman instead was a military ship with no children aboard.
Far into the future, the ship re-emerges once again, calling out in a song that draws the attention of the Tenno, the Grineer, and the Corpus alike. A scant amount of Void manifestations of the dead crew[3], who manage to hold fast and resist the call of the song, are aptly named The Holdfasts, and have dedicated their existence to defending the ship. Other manifestations of the crew that failed to resist, have turned into Void Angels[4].

Odd messages written in blood are scattered throughout, haunting the Tenno as they track down the suspect. Here, they meet Palladino, the Holy Speaker of the Red Veil, who says that their syndicate is in shambles. Their sacred muse, a Tenno named Rell, abandoned his post in their temple, causing chaos throughout their organization. Unlike other Tenno, Rell did not go into cryosleep in the Lua's Reservoirs for he was cast out by Margulis and his fellow Tenno for having blinded Margulis. Instead, he sacrificed his life, bound his spirit to his Warframe, Harrow, who became a resting vigil towards The Man in The Wall itself.
Requesting protection, the Tenno brought Palladino to the Steel Meridian base, Iron Wake, where she will be watched by Steel Meridian personnel. To contact Rell, Palladino asks the Tenno to bring back a sacred relic in order to complete her seance. Apparently, Rell still retains memories of his humanity despite having a manic episode that resulted from losing control over Transference due to attacks from The Man in The Wall. To resolve this, the Tenno captures Rell's manifestations of emotion, disturbances made of Transference energy, and return them to the Red Veil temple in the Void.

The Grineer (Grineer GGrineer RGrineer IGrineer NGrineer EGrineer EGrineer R) is one of the major Factions of the Origin System. They are the first enemies encountered by newly awakened Tenno.[1]
The expansion of their militaristic, violent Empire across the Origin System through the raiding or conquest of peaceful colonies serves as the primary motivator of the Lotus' call to her slumbering warriors.[2]
The Grineer were once a caste of genetically modified, purpose-bred clones of the Orokin Empire. Programmed to obey their masters, Grineer slaves were tasked to perform manual labor, gathering resources for the advancement of the Empire.[4]
During The Old War, the Orokin were desperate to defeat their Sentient assailants, so a new breed of Grineer was created using the gene sample of an individual who had managed to defeat one.[4] These militarized Grineer would be deployed in the Orokin's war efforts but proved futile against the Sentient faction's strategies and defenses.
Eventually, the Warframes were created and led the Orokin to victory, only to be betrayed by the Tenno that controlled these war-suits. After the collapse of the Orokin Empire, Grineer started to congregate to take over territory and technology once belonged to the Empire.[5] At some point in time, the Grineer encountered Orokin twins that helped them fight against remnant Orokin in the Origin System who wanted to restore the Empire. In awe of their close kinship, the Grineer adopted them to be their queens, believing that they attained "Something more than a whole / A true understanding / Of each other soul", a quality that they aspire for.[6]

The Lotus is a mysterious figure who guides the Tenno during their operations throughout the Origin System.
She often takes the role of mission control throughout missions, advising the Tenno of incoming enemy units and their awareness of the Tenno presence at the start of a mission, as well as upon an enemy alerting the rest by using a control console. She will also advise the Tenno of heavy units when they are nearby such as the Infested Ancients, Corpus Shockwave MOAs, and various heavy Grineer. She may also sometimes interrupt the current non-endless objective, ordering the Tenno to ignore their original task and commence Exterminate.
It is revealed that Lotus is a Sentient formerly named "Natah", and in some way responsible for the fall of the Orokin Empire. With the Empire in ruins and the Old War over, she refused to complete the final sequence of her mission: destroy the Tenno. She instead chose to become their "mother" after she had become sterile during the crossing to the Origin system, hiding the Tenno in the "second dream" to preserve them and betraying her father Hunhow.
In conversation with Teshin, the Lotus later claims to have destroyed whatever parts of her were Natah. Before the Tomb on Uranus is sealed, Hunhow warns her that the others of its kind have not taken kindly to her betrayal, and will attempt to bring her back into the fold.
The Second Dream
Hunhow teams up with the Stalker to destroy the Reservoir, the weakness of the Tenno, so the Lotus forms a truce with Alad V to stop them. It is revealed that the Reservoir is hidden on Lua which the Lotus placed into the Void, shocking Alad V as Lua was previously thought to have been destroyed.
At the Reservoir, the Tenno discovers a figure in a jumpsuit, which the Lotus calls the "Operator". She urges them to return to the Orbiter, but are ambushed by the Shadow Stalker. Before being repelled, Hunhow discovers the figure in the jumpsuit is actually the true Tenno that pilots the Warframes. The Lotus then appears before the Tenno, explaining what they truly are and asks what they remember.

Palladino refers to the Lotus as the Great Sentient Queen and claims that the Lotus's personality was created from the dreams and memories of Tenno, taking Margulis' image; This will be further expounded later in The New War.[1] This explains how the Lotus is unable to recall anything related to Rell - a fact that the Lotus expresses in disbelief.
Apostasy Prologue
The Operator meets the Lotus on Lua, but before they can speak, Ballas suddenly appears and promises not to abandon "Margulis" again. The Lotus removes her helmet and holds his hand without question, and the pair vanish before the Operator. The Operator, now confused and alone, collects Lotus' helmet. With her absence, Ordis synthesizes her mission directives until they can figure out her whereabouts.
The Sacrifice
20180615063833 1 The Operator searches for the now missing Lotus. They hear a voice in their Orbiter's personal quarters, which shows them a vision of Excalibur UmbraIcon272 Excalibur Umbra being confronted by Ballas, a pack of Sentient Mimic who are subsequently destroyed by Umbra, and an unusual and unique type of Sentient who kills Umbra.
It is later revealed that the unusual Sentient who vaporizes Umbra is none other than the Lotus herself, now in her true Sentient form, descending from the sky to rescue Ballas after he was fatally wounded by the Operator and Umbra. Shocked and confused, the Operator asks the Lotus what Ballas did to her, but the Lotus replies saying that Ballas did nothing as this is what she is before blasting off into the sky leaving behind a confused and troubled Operator.
Chimera Prologue
Following The Man in The Wall to Lua and falling into the same chamber where the Operator encountered the Lotus and Ballas in the Apostasy Prologue, the Operator enters a portal where they discover Ballas, now Sentient-turned, cursing the Lotus for her deception, by stealing his perfect death. As the Operator overhears his rambling, his eye suddenly glows, which he implies it to be the Lotus's vision. He eventually relinquishes his sword Paracesis Paracesis, which he calls the "Sentient slayer", to the Tenno in preparation for war with the Sentients. As the Tenno grabs the sword, Ballas abruptly turns to face them and the Lotus's whisper calling for the Tenno can be heard.
The Jovian Concord
Main article: Fragments/Partnership The Sentients trick Alad V into partnership, forcing him to create the Amalgams, Grineer/Corpus hybridized with Sentient powers. These new units, along with their combat data against the Tenno, would further serve the Sentients in their preparation for The New War.
During the mission to kill the Ropalolyst, Natah informs the Tenno that the belief that she spared them as an act of mercy was false: rather that she was forced into doing so by the Orokin, and that they were both "imprisoned in Lua's belly", shedding light on the events of the Apostasy Prologue as a result. Natah also addresses that she "has seen the wall's other face", implying that during her time in her chambers on Lua, that the Void affected her as well with The Man in The Wall. Furthermore, she establishes the Tenno as the evil entity for the "destruction of my people" following the Ropalolyst's defeat, and foreshadows the events to come in The New War.
Erra
A flashback of the Old War shows Natah's original defection against the Sentients, and introduces for the first time Natah's own brother: Erra. He is shown attacking a wounded female Dax soldier in a huge cave full of Reservoirs under the surface of Lua, when Natah herself, already turned into the Lotus, intervenes with a group of Tenno (among which there is the Operator) ordering him to stop. Erra shows anger and sadness seeing how the "Makers" have made Natah, the "Queen of the Aphids", turn against her own family, blaming them for what happened, and then urges her to choose between her true family and the Tenno. She, however, states that she is not Natah but the Lotus, and then proceeds to make the Tenno attack Erra with their Void Beams.
The Operator is then brought back in the present, finding themselves aboard a Sentient Mothership. In a situation similar to Chimera Prologue, the Operator assists to a dialogue between Natah, now returned to her original Sentient form, and Erra himself, who has apparently taken the lead of the Sentient army and keeps the Sentient-turned Ballas on a leash. Natah appears to suffer from memory lapses, still believing the Orokin to be alive and to be during the Old War. Erra makes Ballas confirm that the Orokin are indeed dead, the "bios" (presumably Grineer/Corpus) are divided and only the Tenno remain a threat. Natah identifies the Tenno as the enemy and blames Ballas for creating them in order to face the Sentients. Erra however, points out how Natah now has "something our people never had before" and to be "stained by their wickedness". Natah reveals to be aware that the Operator is listening to their conversation, but both Sentients show not to be concerned by it. Erra then asks Natah to "sing" for all Sentients, calling them home and Natah proceeds to do so, knocking the Operator away and calling reinforcements for The New War.
The Maker
Erra tells Natah that their mother is gone and urges her to finish the war as she still has "her fire". Natah notes that she remembers ordering the Tenno to attack Erra and he was apparently destroyed. Erra objects and states that she remembers wrong and will need time to completely heal from what the Makers had done to her. Natah points at leashed Ballas and asks if he is one of the Makers.
After further questioning from Natah, Erra gives up and suddenly grabs and throws Natah at the pedestal behind him. She is trapped in some kind of trance, possibly in Praghasa's furnace, and her body slightly expands. Erra tells her once more to finish the war and drops the leash from his hand. Revealing that his imprisonment was a deception, Ballas stands as he and Erra silently watch Natah.
Operation: Orphix Venom
Following the Sentient's defeat at Operation: Scarlet Spear, Natah leads the second wave by teaching the machine-disabling Orphix to disable Warframes. The Tenno counter by deploying Necramechs, who are immune to the Orphix's pulse fields. As the war continues, Natah seems to speak in codes regarding the coordination of Orphixes, but secretly transmits a code to them that says "I AM DYING".
The New War
The Sentients launch their full-scale invasion on the Origin System. As Teshin breaches into the Sentient Mothership, he is captured and subjected into brainwashing via a Narmer Veil while Ballas tortures the Lotus into watching, informing her of his plan to brainwash the masses to end the war. The Operator soon arrives, horrified at the sight of the Lotus, now heavily burnt and weakened. Ballas kisses her to steal her powers and tells her goodbye as a Void portal opens behind her and pulls in her body. The Operator and their Warframe try to pull her back; as she orders them to let go, Ballas steals the Tenno's Paracesis Paracesis and slices off the Lotus's arm, sending her flying into the portal. As the Operator mourns, Ballas then stabs them and they are also pulled in.
Without the Tenno, the Sentients have won the war as Ballas becomes the ruler of the Origin System under Narmer. The Drifter somehow recovers the Lotus, now a dying Eidolon and hides out with Ordis in a cave to conceal the Orbiter. They team up with Hunhow, who does not wish for his daughter to be used as a puppet, instructing the Drifter to defeat Erra's Archons and use their powers of Sentient resurrection to restore the Lotus.
However, she fails to recognize the Drifter and attacks. The Lotus eventually corners the Drifter, prompting Ordis to sacrifice his drone body to shield them, during which the Drifter receives Void powers via Eternalism from the Operator accepting The Man in the Wall's deal, who fires a Void Beam to repel the Lotus's attack. This act returns the Operator in the Drifter's place, pacifying the Lotus before she leaves, saying she knows what she must do. Meanwhile, Ballas, enraged at the Tenno's return, informs Erra that he plans to control the Lotus and force her to kill her child.
The Operator, after coming to terms with the Drifter, discovers through the Lotus helmet that she plans to head to Cetus to commandeer a Murex. She informs the Tenno that Ballas plots to use the Sentient Mothership Praghasa to feed on the Origin System's sun, which was the ship's original purpose from the Old War, but warns them to stay out of her fight. The Tenno ends up ejected out of the Murex where they are picked up by their Railjack. The Lotus rams her Murex on Praghasa while the Tenno board separately on their Necramech where Erra, defecting after learning Ballas's plan to sacrifice his Narmer empire and the Sentients to escape to the Tau System, guides them to the final Archon in hopes of fully restoring the Lotus before being seemingly being crushed by debris.
The Lotus confronts Ballas, with the Tenno soon following behind her, angering the Lotus for their disobedience. Ballas uses this distract to aim an attack at the Lotus, forcing the Tenno to push her aside; they drop the Archon shard which Ballas steals and absorbs, regaining complete control of the Lotus and forcing the mother to kill her child. After a long battle and wrestling the Lotus out of Ballas's control, Ballas steals the Tenno's Paracesis and stabs the Lotus, seemingly gaining the upper hand until the Tenno force a Narmer Veil on him, deluding him into kissing "Margulis" and allowing the Lotus to regain her powers while transforming into Radiant Lotus, putting an end to Ballas once and for all. This victory is cut short as the Lotus shields the Tenno from a Void portal in which The Man in the Wall emerges from, who bellows in a heavily distorted voice before mysteriously vanishing. As she looks back and ensures the safety of the Tenno, she collapses.
In the aftermath, the Tenno carries the Lotus back to Lua. Although her tone of voice suggests otherwise, she claims she did not see The Man in The Wall and saw "nothing". She then reveals to be conflicted with her personalities meshing between herself, Natah, and Margulis. The player can choose for her to return as the Lotus, the protector of the Origin System that balances Margulis' compassion and Natah's strength.

The Corpus are a group of corporations, businesses, and other legal entities that were led by Parvos Granum, the descendant of generations of peasant farmers who engaged in backbreaking labor for the Orokin. Initially, the group stood for idea that anyone, regardless of social status, could pursue their own "desire" whether it be physical wealth or other abstract dreams.
However, Granum was betrayed by the Corpus Board of Directors, and would disappear for millennia. In his absence, the Corpus fell into both disunity and into idleness, opting to have others labor for them and coming to value profit over the original concept of "desire."
Once Granum escaped his patch of Void that he was trapped in however, he retook control of the Corpus and has been leading them in other endeavors since.

Ordis is a Cephalon of Orokin origin who serves aboard the Orbiter. His visual form is that of a cracked hexahedron which emits radio wave-like ripples as he speaks.
Ordis assists the Tenno, whom he refers to as "Operator". He manages the various systems of the Tenno's landing craft, and provides them with information in between missions.
Ordis is a damaged Cephalon programmed to assist the Tenno. He is mostly functional, though he exhibits symptoms of residual damage inflicted on him. This damage has erased portions of his memory, including his knowledge of the Old War.
Ordis' speech and demeanor are occasionally altered in momentary blips of rage and aggression. It is initially unclear whether this is a symptom of his damaged subsystems or whether it is a subsumed personality breaking free. These outbursts are markedly different from the usual calmness exhibited by other non-Conclave Cephalons. After an outburst, Ordis is prone to correct himself.

Little Duck is a Solaris United operative introduced during the events of the WARFRAME: Ghouls graphic novel series, and a former protégé of The Business. She also has an undefined relation with The Quills. In-game, she can be located in the backroom of Fortuna, Venus, selling wares for Vox Solaris, and also serves as mission control for Disruption missions across the system.
In the printed series she narrated her casual encounter with Mitsuki, incapacitated and the last survivor of an Ostron colony that had been recently devastated by the forces of Captain Vor. Both together with MagIcon272 Mag embark on the mission of securing the Arogya Medica device hidden inside a Orokin Derelict so that it does not fall into the Grineer's hands. It was revealed in the series that her father was brain-shelved.
After surviving multiple dangers and having completed the mission, she obtained a large quantity of data from the Orokin vessel, enough to pay her monthly interest on her debt with the Corpus, and for all the injuries suffered during the battle.
Little Duck was a former protégé of The Business, originally hailing from Phobos. As he describes it, she was easily the best among her many peers in terms of aptitude with spycraft. It was only after they had a falling-out due to a difference between their philosophies that they were no longer mentor and student. She now works as a freelance rail agent and seems to possess a heavily modified rail tractor. It is also notable that she seems to possess more connections than her former mentor, which is notable given the Business' previous job.
Operation: Scarlet Spear
In response to the Sentient invasion across the Origin System, Little Duck is tasked with running a Scarlet Spear Flotilla Relay above Earth's atmosphere and invites the Tenno to use as their primary base of operations as they work to repel the invasion.
Little Duck is the primary point of contact with Vox Solaris, who provides players with various services relating to Operator Amps, Magus Arcanes and Virtous Arcanes, including the construction of Amps and the trade of Toroid for Vox Solaris Standing. Anomaly Shards obtained from the Murex can also be traded to her for the Tenebrous Ephemera and Sentient Ship Captura scenes.
Interacting with Little Duck using the player's Warframe will result in her rebuffing them; in order to obtain her services, players must approach her in their Operator or Drifter form (only possible after completing The War Within).
Profit-Taker Orb Heist
After the first phase of the Heist, Little Duck will appear just outside the elevator to Fortuna; this lets the Tenno cell begin the second phase without having to sit through a loading screen.
During the final phase and the final battle against Profit-Taker, Little Duck will provide fire support from a nearby mountaintop. She will fire at Corpus enemies with a sniper rifle, in an attempt to give the Tenno some breathing room.
Operation: Scarlet Spear
Little Duck served as the event coordinator of Operation: Scarlet Spear, trading event wares for Scarlet Credits.

Calls the Operator “Sparky”. Eudico FB-9 is the leader of Solaris United and the "loyal Floor Boss" of Nef Anyo. She offers Bounties to the Tenno, limited-time missions out in the Orb Vallis which can be accomplished to earn Solaris United Standing and other rewards as provided in the bounty rewards. She is located just across the elevator door to the Orb Vallis, sitting on a chair and holding a large welding gun.
Players must first complete the Vox Solaris quest before they can access Orb Vallis bounties and earn standing for Solaris United.
Eudico secretly led Solaris United against Nef Anyo under the name of Vox Solaris, or just Vox for short. The rebellion was eventually crushed in an event known as the "Deck 12 Incident" which resulted in the death of many Solaris and the devastation of Deck 12 at the hands of the Exploiter Orb. Eudico felt responsible and blamed herself, working now to appease Nef Anyo's mercy as Vox "disappeared."
The Tenno's arrival on Fortuna helps reignite the rebellion, bringing about the return of Vox and Solaris United, with Eudico continuing to spearhead the force in secrecy.
Eudico originally founded Solaris United on the day a series of unexpected events have occurred, including her mother's death. On that same day, she sold her heart to buy herself a gun and create the force. The Business showed up and taught the Solaris members to fight both economically and intelligently, giving them various activities and jobs to ensure they can build a big resistance.
When the Deck 12 Incident happened, however, Eudico became traumatized to the point she cannot sleep whatsoever and blamed (and still blames) herself for the crushing of the resistance. The only survivors of the incident were her, The Business, Little Duck, Rude Zuud, and a very small amount of Solaris members, workers, and vendors.

The Seven Crimes of Kullervo ▾▾ Kullervo killed an Orokin in an attempt of gaining the favor and admiration of an Executor. However, this earned him his first crime: Murder. During The Old War, the Orokin began to destroy other Warframes. However, Kullervo did nothing to aid them, and thus earned his second crime: Cowardice. The Executors then sent a squad of Dax to detain Kullervo, but during the scuffle, he accidentally killed Archimedean Ainikki, his 'mother'. By fleeing and slaying the Dax, Kullervo earned his third crime: Flight from Custody.
Then Tenno would then return from the Zariman. Immediately after, Kullervo would begin attacking various sensitive Orokin locations, such as their labs, homes, and places of government. The purpose: To distract and buy time for some unknown plot. As consequence, Kullervo was given the crime of Treason. The next generation of Warframes was then created. Kullervo spared no time and began whispering dark thoughts into their minds, earning him his fifth crime: Espionage.
After the conclusion of the Old War, during the Night of the Naga Drums, Kullervo's planning had borne fruit. The Tenno attacked, and the Orokin Empire began to fall. Even though Kullervo was not entirely responsible, he earned his second count of Treason. As the Empire fell around the Origin System, Kullervo found the one Executor he abhorred the most; one of the Orokin Seven. He would attempt to execute this Executor, but ultimately failed. With this, Kullervo earned his ultimate crime: Attempted Regicide, and finally, Kullervo received his imprisonment and his punishment.
According to Acrithis, Kullervo arrived in Duviri in a ball of fire which then formed the island Kullervo's Hold. There he is kept imprisoned by The Warden in seven cells to represent each of his crimes (with last one Attempted Regicide notably caved-in). The Warden refers himself as Kullervo's guilt and the form and voice of his greatest persecutor, implying to be a Conceptual Embodiment of Ballas, the Orokin Executor that charged Kullervo with his seven crimes and the survivor of his Attempted Regicide, formed from Kullervo's guilty conscience.
When exploring Kullervo's Hold, the children of Duviri that the Drifter encounters will sing of Kullervo's deeds in poetic rhymes, beginning with "Kullervo, Kullervo...". A lone girl hidden in a nearby cave tunnel cradles Vaenn, Kullervo's signature heavy blade to hide it from The Warden.
