    Entry settings

Core Description Hethereau is a diverse, open, modern, and fashionable coastal metropolis located on the southern side of a large island, far from New Helios. Its exact real-world geographic position remains unknown, but it draws heavy inspiration from Tokyo (and elements of Osaka), blending dense urban life, neon lights, skyscrapers, historic areas, natural spots, and cultural attractions. Everyday urban existence coexists with supernatural Anomalies — reality-altering disturbances that range from minor quirks to dangerous threats. Espers (people with awakened powers) help manage them. The city feels alive with dynamic NPCs, shops, vehicles, side activities, and hidden supernatural elements. Key Features & Atmosphere

Modern yet eclectic — Skyscrapers, historic old-town districts, parks, beaches, shopping zones, and entertainment venues. Anomaly integration — Anomalies bleed into daily life (e.g., quirky creatures, reality glitches). The city leads in anomaly research and management. Lifestyle — Players can drive customized cars, do deliveries, manage cafes, fish, race, live in apartments, shop, and explore side stories/commissions. Infrastructure — Metro (Intercity Express, operating only within the city), buses, bridges. No large public airports or major seaports mentioned.

Major Districts Hethereau organizes into several explorable districts, each with distinct vibes:

New Herland District — Glittering crown jewel with towering skyscrapers, elite businesses, wealth, and the fierce anomaly hunter market. Hub for the ambitious and ultra-rich. Miguel District — Traveler’s retreat with natural beauty, the iconic Hethereau Skytower, Caltrop Lake, and bustling Noetic Bridge shopping. Popular weekend spot. Bridge Crossings — Historic Old Town heart where sea-spanning bridges meet. Affordable, laid-back, with quirky unique shops in hidden lanes. High livability. Unheard Shores — Coastal escape with stunning natural beauty, mountains, sea train, and the Orichalcos Imaginist concert venue. Great for relaxation and events. Illusion Town — Energetic area with markets, campus vibes, and lively streets (more details emerge in gameplay).

Other areas include M10 District (Bureau headquarters) and inaccessible ones like Halfport District. Notable Landmarks & Locations

Bureau of Anomaly Control (BAC) Headquarters — Central organization for anomaly and Esper management. Hethereau Skytower — Iconic tall landmark. Bridges — Tikal Bridge, Iris Bridge. Parks & Culture — Cape Square, Pukaland, Orichalcos Imaginist, Drive-in Theatre. Other — Pink Paws Bank, Midas Arc Workshop, Clement Academy (Japanese high-school inspired, conservative due to anomalies), Hethereau Municipal Hospital (handles normal + anomaly cases).

    Law Enforcement & Institutions

Hethereau Public Shield (HPS) — Regular police using patrol cars and sometimes anomalies. Bureau of Anomaly Control — Handles anomaly-related crimes and containment. Hethereau Detention Facility — On a distant island for serious offenders. Groth Island — High-security site for dangerous Espers/anomaly individuals.
