Taro Hanaukyo (花右京 太郎 Hanaukyō Tarō) is a main character of Hanaukyo Maid Team.

Plot Taro is a short, quiet, patient and persuasive middle school boy who inherits his mysterious grandfather's home at the age of 14. A common source of humor is his dealing with the overeager work ethic of the maids. He is put off by fawning women. (In the original anime series, this was exaggerated into a near-allergic reaction to any contact with a woman except one.) He thinks of his maids as friends and family rather than servants, and treats them as such, much to the consternation of some. He is rather blatantly attracted to Mariel. His name is spelled as "Tarou Hanaukyo" in the first English volume of the manga. As a point of interest, Tarou is shown cosplaying as Mahoro Andou from Mahoromatic, even saying her catchphrase 'I think all dirty thoughts are very bad'.

He left the house to Taro and went into hiding. He has a skinhead, round sunglasses, and a black suit. He also has both of his eyes mechanized. Taro never saw his grandfather until he was handed over to the Hanaukyo family. He has a personality that only trusts women, and because of this, almost all of the servants in the Hanaukyo family are made up of maids. He was born in the era of World War II and overcame adversity, but he is not particularly ambitious and is trying to become a king in his own world.

Because he had a distorted affection for his daughter Marie, he created the personality Marielle to replace her. Also, she didn't make her own Tarot clone because she hated herself. When her Mari-El fell, she had her squire bring her to her own bio-lab, but she was recaptured by Taro and her group. All of her own assets in her Hana Ukyo family were also transferred to her name by her Grace.[8] She, she has some massive external assets, so it didn't lead to her downfall. In the first part of her story, she is a normal body, but later in the story, when she realizes that she is about to die due to her old age, she reveals a demon-like appearance half-fused with her life support system in her biological laboratory. Also, her Konoe and the other members of her red flag have adored her as her older sister. She fights wielding a huge sword, and can fly with the vernier on her back.

The painter who ran away with Marie was her first love, but ironically ended up killing him because she couldn't go against Hokusai's orders. The real reason he stuck with Hokusai was because he fell for his stupidity, and it seems that he didn't care about the contract he signed when he swore allegiance. Before he parted ways with Konoe, he told him to kill himself when the time came, but this was for his own atonement. In her later confrontation with Konoe, she is severely injured, with a broken katana stabbing her in the chest, and a beam from her artificial satellite that wraps around her and loses her left arm. And, he killed Hokusai to put an end to his distorted thinking and killed himself.
