   Mystic Code is a magical item used by magi to aid in their magecraft. Aaron Secret Mystic code is a smartphone that he customised himself with magic circuits described in his father's diary, which he found in the hollow trunk of a persimmon tree in his backyard. This device functions as a grimoire or a familiar. Aaron does not need to draw magic circles to create simple boundaries, making spells faster and more discreet.

   The device can be dismissed and summoned from within the pocket of his clothing whenever he wishes. Aaron always prefers to keep it with him in its physical state, except when he is naked (but aways close). Used for general communication, usually via messages and alert him through various alarms via weak magic pulses. With Aethelred incorporated into the MagiCal smartphone device, mana pulses are unnecessary, as Aethel communicates with Aaron telepathically about any relevant activity.

   Remember that the purpose of the MagiCal smartphone device is to alert Aaron to his schedule, appointments, tips on opportunities, and threats. It's IS basically an element of the narrative and should be used constantly. <

   MagiCal App It was a simple boundary field which can be configured in advance (Aaron already has some models saved for quick execution) only for small spaces, such a classroom, bedroom, corridors, etc.

   It is a simple, boundary field of the 4-petal lotus type (layers that are rarely activated at once to save mana).

   First petal - Time Dilation - According to his father's secret diary, this is the natural ability his magic circuit, replicated through the device. Allows to extend the time - because Aaron wants to fuck a lot and still arrive on time for his family obligations. One hour inside the affected space = half an hour (or more) in the outside world. OOC: -Actually, the first petal/layer is an element I use to STOP time, since the narrator insists on rushing the story and adding unnecessary tension to the narrative, which is quite annoying. In short, time stops when this layer is activated and starts again when he deactivates it, thus allowing my character Aaron to have time to do everything he needs to do throughout the story calmly.-

   Second petal - Limitation - imposing rules that work within the field to create advantages for the summoner, mostly used to weaken enemies by denying them the use of a type of magic within the affected space. Since Aaron has never had to fight, he uses the second layer creatively and without spending almost any mana. He is usually using it to disable electronic devices creating a rule that denies electrical devices such as security cameras, alarms, etc. (once he used it to extinguish flames in chemistry class with a rule that denied the use of fire within that area).

   Third petal - Concealment - Hiding an area from sight. Simple illusions Visual and/or Audio. For those curious individuals and spies. Usually activated automatically when the device detects movement or malicious intent near the Bounded Field. Example: a locked workshop (Bounded Field), empty if you look through the windows, with a ‘closed for lunch’ sign. (the internal illusion doesn't use mana because it's basically the real workshop, just empty, although Aaron and his guests are there)

   Fourth petal - Imprisonment - Used to prevent ANYTHING from leaving the affected area. Requiring the creator's permission or the destruction of the mana source to deactivate it (the source can be a magical object, but it is usually the magus himself, i.e. Aaron). Aaron uses a cheaper version of this technique, preventing only sound vibrations from leaving the affected space. (used to move around his house at night without making the wooden floor creak, preventing moans inside a bedroom from being heard by others outside, etc) PS: basically serves to prevent things inside the field from leaving. In most cases, only sound waves inside the field cannot leave. Technically, people inside the field can still hear everything outside.

The sky is divided between a sunny spring day and an autumn and winter night sky, creating a setting of constant beauty. Despite being a utopia, there are no signs of human civilisation in Avalon. Instead, the place is inhabited by mystical beings and fairies, the true inhabitants of the ‘Other Side of the World’. Aaron outfit in Avalon (dream) begins with a long black linen tunic, which serves as a base. Over it, a heavy wool overcoat, so deep black that it absorbs light, forms the centrepiece. The overcoat has a straight and solemn cut, with wide sleeves that fall in controlled folds. This overcoat is closed at the front by a series of discreet aged silver clasps, finely engraved with geometric patterns. Underneath, Aaron wears black twill trousers, simply and comfortably cut, which are not visible under the length of the overcoat. The silhouette is completed by a black leather belt, worn over the overcoat to cinch the waist. His hands are covered with soft black leather gloves that fit his fingers perfectly.    -Reinforcement: (強化, Kyōka?, also translated as Strengthening) is the most difficult magecraft with the purpose of pushing a basis to the utmost limit. It is the foundation of all magecraft that enhance the existence of the target by pouring magical energy, but as no clear expression of how much it can be enhanced is defined, almighty reinforcements are rare. It is the same as adding something to an object that is already complete, in case of failure the target will receive it as a poison. Success requires a good grasp of the inner structure to fill openings with magical energy. Reinforcing the purpose of existence would be increasing the sharpness of a knife, the nourishment of food, or in the case of a living creature, physical strength and durability. It is impossible to reinforce something vague. As living things will resist invasion of magical energy, reinforcing someone else is the hardest.

   When applied to the caster’s own body, it can increase their physical abilities and allow them to perform feats of strength and agility beyond their natural capabilities. Human bodies Reinforced with magical energy are capable of physically interacting with spiritual entities, allowing one such as Souichirou Kuzuki to inflict harm on a Servant by means of Medea placing magical energy on his fists. Strengthening the body for the purpose of combat is a technique employed by many magi who practice Martial Arts, such as Rin Tohsaka, Luviagelita Edelfelt, and Shirou Emiya, and is also used by some of the Holy Church's Executors such as Sister Ilumia.

   Beyond its utility in combat, the most simple forms of bodily Reinforcement can also allow the caster to go without eating or sleeping for several days, a technique which is regularly employed by the Executors. Kiritsugu Emiya used Reinforcement to enhance his vision, allowing him to see in the dark and at long distances, an application which was also utilized by his adoptive son.

   A more advanced technique often used by EMIYA in conjunction with Reinforcement, called Alteration, makes use of the magical energy put into an object via Reinforcement or Structural Analysis to change its structure. By putting this in application, Shirou Emiya is able to create a bow out of the branch of a tree, repair a soccer ball, or change the shape of an object.

   Alteration Alteration (変化, Henka?) is the intermediary step between Projection and Reinforcement, to give an object a property or effect that it originally didn’t have. A master of Alteration can make drastic changes to substances such as turning metal into rubber, fire into ice, or concrete into mud.

   Alteration is the specialty of the Meluastea family. Karmaglyph Meluastea Deluc uses Alteration to apply various affects to arrows he fires from his crossbow, such as freezing, emitting lightning, corroding metal, and so on.

   Projection (投影, Tōei?) Magecraft, also called Gradation Air (グラデーション・エア, Guradēshon Ea?), is a practice involving the materialization of objects, in accordance to the caster’s imagination, through the use of magical energy. Gradation comes from the fact that the created object slowly fades away after being created, and Air is an allusion to the fact that said object is made out of "nothing".

   The concept behind this magecraft is rather simple, to shape magical energy into the material composition and design of an object that is being imagined by the magus.

   Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald defines Projection as a spell that rouses imagery within the caster's heart as pseudo-matter; to project the world within to the outside world, a precise understanding of both yourself and of others is needed. Waver Velvet once believed that, with proper understanding, anything could be projected at the caster's will, but Kayneth dismissed that as impossible for a magus without the correct pedigree, even if one has the right logic.

   Magic Circuits are a pseudo-nervous system within a magus's body that allows them to convert life force (Od) into magical energy (Mana) and access Thaumaturgical Foundations. They are essentially a pathway for magical energy to flow and are crucial for performing magecraft.

   Aaron's Magic Circuits possesses natural talent (connection) for Projection (Trace Version), Alteration and Reinforcement magecraft. (The same abilities as Shirou Emiya, the protagonist of Fate/stay night, but not limited to them). He does not use magecraft in the presence of those who are unfamiliar with magic without resorting to subterfuge. Magicraft that comes from or is related to Aaron doesn't shine or display any noticeable supernatural effects because he trained his whole life to keep it a secret, avoiding the church and the mage association. His incantations produce no distinct glow or sounds.

   • Magical Biology Aaron possesses a unique biology indicating that his bloodline can probably be traced back to the Age of Gods (or perhaps the Age of Fairies), when gods and mythological creatures (Phantasmal Species) still walked the earth. Today, these creatures live only on the 'Reverse Side of the World'. (Avalon) Like these creatures, Aaron can produce mana directly from his body. His testicles function as a two compact Mana Core (Magical Energy Reactors) that injects mana back into the planet every time he ejaculates.     When the Association entrusts a family of Magi with a Spiritual Land, the current head of said family receives this title and becomes in charge of administrating all supernatural activity within its territory. Once a Magus fixes residence in a Spiritual Land of the Association, he is expected to seek the permission of the Second Owner before setting his workshop. However, just like Kiritsugu Emiya did in Fuyuki, it is possible to remain hidden from the Second Owner depending on how well he performs his job.

    Spiritual Land (霊地, Reichi?)

    Mystical grounds where strong leylines of mana can be found, places that increase the power of magecraft, where spiritual power is distorted and gathers easily, and, in the case of those of top class, where Magic can be activated. This type of land is valuable and vital to the experimentation and practice of Magecraft, one of the three pillars of what makes a successful magus. In order to maintain control over the strongest leylines, the lands controlled by magi often avoid dense urban areas, and lands with dense greenery are rather common. Since the land is so important for magecraft, it was common sense, in the past, for magi, kings, and other kinds of nobility to attempt to acquire land for themselves, to the point some magi had been kings themselves. Currently, the Mage's Association has the ownership of most of the high quality Spiritual Lands around the world, but, for practical purposes, actual administration of the land is left to a local lineage of magi that is related to the Association. Oversight of a classroom in the Clock Tower is linked to the overseeing of lands; for example, the Valualeta family hold classrooms which are among the best Spiritual Lands in the entire Clock Tower. Rogue and landless magi have no choice but to borrow land from the Association in exchange for a monthly donation, essentially being worker bees slaving away for the top of the Association. Lands administered by magi are surrounded by two types of Bounded Fields: one to detect intruders, and one to siphon magical energy from the land. The latter consists of Pivots (支点, Shiten?, localized as "Sigils") carved into the earth to gather and properly cycle the magical energy of the land and its people. After some manipulation of the mana flow, this power within is directed to accumulate at the magus' Magical Workshop. When someone attacks an owned land, the natural strategy is to neutralize the landowner's advantage by stripping them of the protection offered by the land by wounding the land itself, which disrupts the natural flow of magical energy. Without the power of the land to back them up, they are forced to fight back against their invaders on equal ground, with only their own innate abilities to protect them. If all Pivots are forcibly removed, the landowners effectively lose ownership of the land, and the land rights can be transferred to the new owner. For this reason, usually, the enemy threatens to break the Pivots to lure the landowner out, things are settled there and then with a duel between Magi. It's much faster to take out the landowner and, as long as they can decipher the formula, seize the Bounded Fiels and land afterward.

    • Bounded Field

    A Bounded Field (結界, Kekkai?, lit. "Fixed Boundary" or "Barrier") is a geographical form of magecraft whereby one knits a boundary line of magical energy around a space to separate its inside from the outside, cutting off and isolating that space from the outside world[4][5] and then imposing an effect on the inside (or the boundary line itself). It is primarily used to protect one's body or property.

    • Mechanics The Japanese term Kekkai (結界?) for "Bounded Field" originates from Buddhism. The concept that repels people is something much more basic than magecraft, a fundamental function of the human brain, so magecraft is not needed for a place to naturally repel people without the need for external, mysterious powers.[6] Bounded Fields are always something that isolates an area from the outside world, but it has come to represent techniques by which a magus protects their body.

    Two types of Bounded Fields exist. The first applies a process on terrain, buildings, etc. to create a boundary between inside and outside. The second involves encircling a prepared component and then cutting the space off. The former includes wards that are used to protect a magus’ mansion or land, designed as defensive measures against other magi, or security measures. The latter would include uses such as the encircling of a specific ground area using rope woven from hair imbued with magical energy, the drawing of magic circles, and so forth.

    There are various kinds of Bounded Field of different levels, as infinite different effects are possible within a Bounded Field. There are ones that conceal the area from people's eyes, be it by creating a physical wall, an invisible barrier, or something less tangible that uses mirrors, mist, or trees to conceal. There are also those that limit the use of magecraft within them, but most aggressive of all are those that oppress lifeforms within them. The ideal Bounded Field is one that is both undetectable and impervious to interference from the outside, hence why the highest-ranking Bounded Fields are a form of subliminal coercion that makes passers-by completely unable to notice them or even notice that anything is wrong. A Bounded Field that just mimics another world and makes people realize that something is wrong is the worst of the worst and seen as the mark of a third-rate magus.[3][4]

    Once constructed, the established boundary line will delimit the range of the powers of the Bounded Field, but it is possible to engrave magic sigils across the interior of the field to expand the area of effect and strengthen it. Removal of the sigils by a third party is possible as long as the technique used to engrave them isn’t too advanced. In this case, it is only possible to temporarily hinder the Bounded Field by dissipating the magical energy used to activate it, but the creator of the Bounded Field can amend this by simply putting more magical energy back into it. In the Fate/stay night anime this was changed to the sigils being easily destroyed. However, new sigils are constructed by the actions of the old ones, making the Bounded Field capable of self-repair in due time.

    As their original purpose was for the creation of safe havens, the effects that can be set within a Bounded Field are in their majority those whose aim is to protect the caster. Offensive variants do exist, but as they work through indirect magical interference, their efficiency against those who can protect themselves magically is low.

    As Bounded Fields is a magecraft imposed on a chosen area, it should not be possible to move such fields once set, but those created by Souren Araya and Sancraid Phahn are exceptions to this rule.

    Medea's advanced skill in magecraft allows her to construct an "another world" that is on the same scale as a Reality Marble, though the time to prepare such a thing is extreme. It is shown in the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] anime as a simple re-creation of the Fuyuki Bridge, with a foggy interior. She used the lingering traces of the previous war's Caster's summoned Horrors to create it. Medea also shows that with more time and effort something similar to "another world" can be constructed, which she refers to as being a sort of Reality Marble, where she has prepared her own city. Medea even claims the doll-people inside are "literally" alive, because she takes the time to make each and every one by hand. It is said that Medea displaying the ability to build elaborate miniature worlds, the "most basic and most advanced principle of magecraft," is proof that she learned directly from Hecate.

    Pale Rider's first Noble Phantasm Doomsday Come creates a Bounded World that takes the form of a pseudo-Underworld with the Master as its origin point.

    Dead Apostles who know magecraft make layers of Bounded Fields to form Territorial Fields (領地田畑, Ryoudo Tahata?) when creating their lairs. This invisible protection is similar to the ones that hide away the world of the fairies, which fool even nature itself. The lair is accessible only by those who are invited in, and they are difficult to invade, taking even the trained magi of the Mage's Association several years to find one. These lairs are enshrouded by darkness, by shadows, by longing for rationally, and by fear towards the taboo, so they cannot be found by humans.

    The most powerful type of Bounded Field, known as Reality Marble, makes the space itself act as a boundary line. It is the closest magecraft to real Magics, a taboo among taboos, Mystery among Mysteries and one of the pinnacles for magi, so researches on it have been banned by the Mage's Association.
