In ancient times, a peaceful tribe known as the Linto was terrorised by the monstrous Gurongi, who engaged in a deadly game of killing for sport. Kuuga Growing Form Design:

Growing Form (グローイングフォーム, Gurōingu Fōmu) is Kuuga's white, weakest form. Kuuga is forced into this form when he is too inexperienced to access stronger forms or is gravely injured; in the latter case, he cannot transform again for 2 hours. It is also nicknamed ULF No.2 by the public.

Primary Colour: White: The armour is a pristine, glossy white, symbolising a nascent stage of power.

    Design: Helmet:

Eyes: Large, compound eyes with an orange hue and a honeycomb pattern.

Crest: A prominent golden, stag beetle-like horn (resembling a U-shape) crowns the helmet. The horns in Growing a slightly smaller, showing Kuuga's inexperience or incapability to turn into their other forms.

Forehead Jewel: A small orange gem sits at the base of the horn, centred above the eyes.

Faceplate: Silver mechanical mouthpiece/chinstrap with segmented plating resembling mandibles.

    Chest Armor:

Shoulder Plates: Small white pauldrons that are modest in size.

    Bodysuit:

Material: Matte black, form-fitting, and flexible.

Coverage: Standard full-body coverage beneath the armor pieces.

Color Balance: Provides contrast to the white armor elements. Character Stats and Profiles

Pegasus Form (ペガサスフォーム, Pegasasu Fōmu) is Kuuga's green sniper form with massively boosted senses, enabling him to see, hit and hear his opponents with extreme precision. However, this increased sensory stimulation overwhelms Kuuga over time, preventing him from using this form for more than 50 seconds without being forced into Growing Form and making them unable to transform again for 2 hours. By allowing himself to be the conduit for electricity to power the Amadam, the user can obtain upgraded versions of his standard forms, the Rising forms. Known as Kuuga's Golden Power for its additional gold trimmings and extensions, and the mark of power (chikara (力) written in ancient Rinto on the back of Kuuga's hands.

Form Type: Rising Mighty Primary Colour: Red with Gold Accents Design:

An evolved version of Mighty Form, Rising Mighty retains the same red coloration with a darker shade and now features bold gold armor lines across the chest, arms, and legs.

The chest armor is more angular, and the golden trim enhances the regal appearance, reinforcing its upgraded power level.

The most notable addition is the "Rising Mighty Anklet", a large gold anklet worn on the right leg that boosts the destructive power of the Rider Kick exponentially.

The helmet remains mostly unchanged, with the iconic red compound eyes and golden crown-like horns, but the visual impact is heightened by the added gold elements.

Form Type: Rising Dragon Primary Colour: Blue with Gold Accents Design:

Rising Dragon is a sleeker, enhanced version of Dragon Form, characterized by its vivid deep blue chest armor now lined with gold.

The suit maintains a streamlined appearance, ideal for agility and fast-paced combat, especially with polearms.

The forearms and shoulder pads are accentuated with golden linings, giving the impression of sharpened reflexes.

The primary weapon, the Rising Dragon Rod, is a longer, double-ended staff with improved reach and striking force.

The helmet mirrors Dragon Form’s design, with blue compound eyes and a reinforced golden crest.

Form Type: Rising Pegasus Primary Colour: Green with Gold Accents Design:

A visually striking upgrade of Pegasus Form, Rising Pegasus features bright green armor panels over the upper chest and arms, now bordered with elegant gold.

The shoulder and forearm armor are more pronounced, giving it a sharper silhouette.

The enhanced Rising Pegasus Bowgun combines a compact bow and gun mechanism, lined with gold and fitted with a gold blade for close-range defense.

The helmet includes green eyes and a longer golden forehead crest, symbolizing heightened sensory awareness.

This form exudes a mystic, hunter-like feel, with sleek lines and a balanced color palette.

Form Type: Rising Titan Primary Colour: Purple with Gold Accents Design:

Rising Titan is a bulkier, heavily armored form compared to its base counterpart, defined by a darker purple chestplate and broader gold-accented shoulder armor that almost flares outward.

The Rising Titan Sword is a twin-blade weapon significantly longer and more ornate than the original, capable of cleaving large enemies with ease.

Gold trims reinforce the torso and gauntlets, and the overall suit gives off an aura of resilience and overwhelming strength.

The helmet’s design includes purple compound eyes with a deeper, richer tone, and an expanded golden forehead emblem.

Form Type: Amazing Mighty Primary Colour: Black with Gold Accents Design:

Amazing Mighty introduces a dramatic shift, featuring deep black armor across the chest, arms, and legs, overlaid with sleek golden piping in place of colored highlights.

The armor is almost completely gold-trimmed, showcasing a refined, high-tier aesthetic.

Both legs now feature twin Rising Anklets, enabling the devastating Amazing Mighty Kick, a dual-anklet empowered finisher.

The helmet keeps the iconic red eyes, but the black suit combined with the golden crest gives Kuuga a more fearsome, divine-warrior appearance.

This form is seen as a major turning point, visually expressing the character’s deepening power and darker burden.

Form Type: Ultimate Form Primary Colour: Black with Gold & Silver Highlights

    Design:

The pinnacle of Kuuga’s power, Ultimate Form is almost entirely glossy black, representing the full unlocking of the Amadam’s power.

Intricate silver vein-like markings run across the armor, glowing subtly with power, and gold outlines remain on the wrist and leg bands.

The helmet features an elaborate five-pointed golden crest, and the eyes turn either crimson red or jet black, depending on Kuuga’s emotional state and control.

This form emanates raw power and danger, with a silhouette and aura resembling that of the Grongi god, N·Daguva·Zeba.

Abilities: Being the antithesis of N·Daguva·Zeba, Kuuga in Ultimate Form has the same powers as him, both physical and mystical. Notably, through their morphing power, Kuuga can control atoms without any effort, having created a barrage of fire to attack their target. If needed, this form is also capable of creating weapons from thin air, requiring no solid objects beforehand.

One of Kuuga Ultimate Form's signature techniques is Supernatural Pyrokinesis (超自然発火能力, Chōshizen Hakka nō Ryoku)[18][19][20], where he extends out his arm towards the target and causing it to ignite and burn fire.

    Kuuga's Weapons & finshers:

Growing Finisher: Although their power is weak in this form, Kuuga still can use a finisher called "Growing Kick" (グローイングキック, Gurōingu Kikku), though it only has one-third to half the strength of the Mighty Kick.

Mighty Finisher: Kuuga uses "Mighty Kick" (マイティキック, Maiti Kikku), a long-running flaming side-kick which leaves his mark on his target, causing them to explode. However, if the target's resistance is strong enough, the Kuuga mark will fade away, cancelling its explosion.

Dragon Rod: To make up for the lack of strength, Kamen Rider Kuuga Dragon Form uses the Dragon Rod (ドラゴンロッド, Doragon Roddo) staff as their weapon, which is created whenever Kuuga is using any pole or stick-like object to manifest it. their finishing move with the Dragon Rod is known as the Splash Dragon, where they spin the Dragon rod and forcefully whack the end on the target's chest.

Pegasus Bowgun: The Pegasus Bowgun (ペガサスボウガン, Pegasasu Bougan) is a crossbow exclusively for Kamen Rider Kuuga Pegasus Form, created by picking up something that makes him imagine "an objects that shoot through" such as a ranged weapon-like object. Pull the Trigger Lever (トリガーレバー, Torigā Rebā) on the butt of the gun once to narrow down the aim, absorb the air energy from the muzzle, and release the Trigger Lever to shoot the air bullet Pegasus Arrow (ペガサスアロー, Pegasasu Arō) with the sealed energy compressed. The Rinto hieroglyphics of "Gale" indicating Pegasus Form is drawn on the spirit stone embedded in the rear of the muzzle, and the barrel is repeatedly engraved with the Rinto hieroglyphics: "Come! It's a Pegasus' bow that can fly high in the sky!"

Titan Sword: The Titan Sword (タイタンソード, Taitan Sōdo) is an extendable two-handed, straight-bladed, double-edged sword used by Kamen Rider Kuuga Titan Form that can be created out of pole or stick-like objects, normally the control handle of their bike. Their finishing move with the Titan Sword is known as Calamity Titan (カラミティタイタン, Karamiti Taitan), which is a powerful sword thrust wherein Kuuga twists the blade as it is impaled.

    Kuuga's Rising Weapons & finishers:

Rising Mighty Finisher: The Mighty Anklet (マイティアンクレット, Maiti Ankuretto) is equipped in the right leg, empowering it and upgrading Kuuga's Mighty Kick to Rising Mighty Kick (ライジングマイティキック, Raijingu Maiti Kikku). Its power is more than triple that of the normal Mighty Kick and causes the target to explode with the blast radius of a few city blocks, so it is best that they drag the enemy out (via the TryGouram & BeatGouram's horns) to a place with no people nearby.

Rising Dragon Rod: The Dragon Rod is upgraded to the Rising Dragon Rod (ライジングドラゴンロッド, Raijingu Doragon Roddo), turning it into a double-ended spear. This form's finisher is Rising Splash Dragon (ライジングスプラッシュドラゴン, Raijingu Supurasshu Doragon), in which Kuuga lunges forward and stabs a target with the Rising Dragon Rod.

Rising Pegasus Bowgun: The Pegasus Bowgun is upgraded to the Rising Pegasus Bowgun (ライジングペガサスボウガン, Raijingu Pegasasu Bōgan), lengthening it and enabling it to fire more often. This form's finisher is Rising Blast Pegasus (ライジングブラストペガサス, Raijingu Burasuto Pegasasu), in which Kuuga fires a large volley of shots in quick succession at a target.

Rising TItan Sword: The Titan Sword is upgraded into the longer Rising Titan Sword (ライジングタイタンソード, Raijingu Taitan Sōdo). In addition of this, he can create a second Rising Titan Sword and dual wield them. With a single sword, this form's finisher is Rising Calamity Titan (ライジングカラミティタイタン, Raijingu Karamiti Taitan), a stronger version of the Calamity Titan. With both swords, Kuuga can execute the Double Rising Calamity Titan (ダブルライジングカラミティタイタン, Daburu Raijingu Karamiti Taitan) attack, impaling his target with two blades at once.

    Kuuga's Super Finishers:

Amazing Mighty Kick: Amazing Mighty equips Kuuga with a Mighty Anklet on each leg, allowing him to execute Amazing Mighty Kick (アメージングマイティキック, Amējingu Maiti Kikku), an incredibly powerful drop kick version of Rising Mighty Kick with both feet covered in electricity, causing the target exploded in a large, flaming pillar that nearly pierced the atmosphere.

Ultimate Kick (アルティメットキック, Arutimetto Kikku): A kick coated with golden flames.

Ultimate Punch (アルティメットパンチ, Arutimetto Panchi): A Rider Punch coated with hot flames.

  4. #4Henshin Sequence

    Kuuga's henshin sequence:

The user places their hands on the front of their waist, summoning the Arcle in a bright flash of energy via mental control (they can also just harshly spread out their arms and concentrate through mental control, but have to press one of the four form buttons on the front of the belt to choose, whereas if they did it the normal way, they can choose with their mind (Red for Mighty, Blue for Dragon, Green for Pegasus and Purple for Titan)). Once the Arcle is summoned, the Amadam begins to let out a humming noise, preparing itself.

They then move their arms to the right slightly before sharply placing the left above the Arcle while the right is facing the left diagonally, and the hand facing upward with a two-finger gesture (Index and middle fingers facing upwards while the ring and pinkie on the palm and the thumb poking outwards).

The user then slowly moves the right arm diagonally, to the right (they have the choice to say "Henshin!", but it isn't really needed to transform). At the same time, they move their left arm to be besides the left activation button

They then sharply move their right arm to the left activation button and press it down with their right hand, beginning the transformation.

As soon as the button is pressed, the Amadam begins to glow faintly and make a charging up sound that gets higher in pitch as the armour forms on their body ( Growing's sounding like an energy whoosh, Mighty's sounding like an energy build up, Dragon's sounding like a slightly distorted whistle, Pegasus's sounding like a beating heart and Titan's sounding like a slightly distorted charging up sound, the rising forms sounding like a burst of energy and the ultimate form sounding like cackling energy with). The armour forms piece by piece, starting with the torso, then the arms and legs and ends with the helmet. Once the golden crest of the helmet forms, the Amadam lets out a loud CLNG!!! sound, indicating that the transformation is complete.

EXTRA: Sometimes, the armour pieces can form each time the user lands a hit on their enemy, depending on what they use to hit them with (if the arm pieces have already formed, they can form the torso and helmet pieces). When changing into Ultimate form, whether it is directly or through form changing from one form to the next, as soon as the activation button is pressed, golden energy lines burst out of the Arcle and swarm the user (except for the head) and a blackish purple aura swarms around them as this happens, and once the energy have fully formed, the aura forms into the Ultimate form armour, with the helmet forming as usual, but the crosshorns gain another horn on each side.

The Armor Machine Gouram (装甲機 ゴウラム, Sōkō-ki Gōramu) is a mysterious stag-beetle-like entity formed from fragments found at the original excavation site at the beginning of the story of Kamen Rider Kuuga. To the Linto, these beetles were considered servants of the gods. After its initial formation, the Gouram assimilated various other metals in its search for the current Kuuga.

"A familiar that becomes armor for a steed." It assists Kuuga in various capacities such as aerial transportation and becoming Barding for Kuuga's bike, however, after being used for a certain amount of time, it returns back to its shattered fragments until Yusuke revives it by touching its Amadam. It is very maneuverable and capable of a top airspeed of 500km/h (310.69mph). However, since being exposed to the golden power, Gouram returns back to the Police Science Division in a different color and in one piece. On Gouram's claw, the following is inscribed: "The warrior and his servant join hands, giving rise to a grand future." Kuuga grabs onto Gouram's claw and is lifted into the air, allowing flight.

According to the Rinto scriptures, Gouram was known as a horse armor, which means that the previous Kuuga used a horse in combat. The Gouram has a fail-safe program which causes it to crumble into sand if Kuuga ever transforms into Ultimate Form and goes corrupt.

This mysterious ancient civilization is made up of beings that can transform into monsters to kill people for their ruthless game (ゲーム, Gēmu), which is translated into the Gurongi language as the "Gegel" (ゲゲル, Gegeru). Attacking their rival civilization the Rinto (リント), the original Kuuga defeats the leader of the Gurongi and seals all 200 of the Gurongi tribesmen away.

The beings known as the Lords also protected the Rinto tribe. [Citation needed] However, by the present day, the newly resurrected N·Daguva·Zeba revives his tribe from their rest and restart the Gegel on the human race, the descendants of the Rinto, to bring out the "Ultimate Darkness" (究極の闇, Kyūkyoku no Yami), where they commit genocide towards humanity.

They are referred by the Police as Unidentified Lifeforms (also known as "ULFs") (未確認生命体, Mikakunin Seimeitai). Each of them possesses a strange artifact called Geburon on the belt-like (the buckle is called Gedoruto) parts in all of their bodies, no different than Kuuga's Amadam. Gurongi seen in human form are labeled as "B" (B群, Bīgun), and each human-like Gurongi possesses a tattoo that resembles their true animalistic forms.

The Gurongi has a three-part naming scheme that all members have, consisting of "Group-Species-Creature type". The first part of their names indicates their rank and which group that Gurongi belongs to; the second part is their personal name, which contains a reference to what animal/plant their Gurongi forms are based on; and the third part indicates what animal groups they belong to: "Ba" for insects and arachnids; "Da" for mammals; "De" for plants; "Gi" for fish and other aquatics animals; "Gu" for birds and other animals with wings; and "Re" for reptiles and amphibians. The leaders of the Gurongi Tribe will have a "Ze" in front of their animal group names. When talking with each other, they will usually address each other by only their personal names without either group designation. There are four groups shown on screen, namely Xu, Me, Go, and La. Xu, Me, and Go are the only groups allowed to enter the Gegel, while the La Group acts as their judges and the Nu Group crafted their belts and weapons.

The Be Group is the lowest-ranking and is not allowed to join the Gegel at all. These groups are not permanent, as Me·Galme·Re was promoted up from the Xu Group during the series. Xu is the first group to start the Gegel with Xu·Gmun·Ba as the first player and Xu·Zain·Da as their leader. The Xu Group is assigned a number of humans to kill and tallies them on a Guzepa bracelet. After all the Xu Group were defeated by Kuuga, the Gegel is continued by Me Group led by Me·Garima·Ba and with Me·Vagis·Ba as the first player. Me Group members also use a Guseba but decide their victim number themselves. Later, the Go Group enter the Gegel with Go·Buuro·Gu as the first player and Go·Gadol·Ba as the leader. The Go decide upon a unique pattern for choosing victims, while Doldo tallies their victims for them. Each group has different rules and methods for killing people. The Xu relies on their physical strengths and abilities, such as Xu·Zain·Da using his brute strength to kill truck drivers and Xu·Mevio·Da's immense speed. The Me use built-in weapons such as Me·Geega·Gi's ink bombs, and Me·Vagis·Ba's wrist-mounted stinger gun. The Go Group is the strongest and is able to create weapons from objects they grasp, much like Kuuga. The first player was Go·Buuro·Gu, and their leader is Go·Gadol·Ba, also the leader of the elite Gevagel subgroup of the three most potent Go Group members, who are also capable of changing forms to match Kuuga's.

When they sustain lethal damage, their body begins to crack, with a bright yellow light shining through. When the cracks head towards the Geburon, it snaps in half, followed by their bodies combusting into flames and blowing out completely a couple seconds later

The Gurongi language (グロンギ語, Gurongi-Go) is the language spoken by the Gurongi race, mainly spoken verbally.

Being a cipher of the Japanese language, Gurongi basically uses the consonants of that language. However, there are instances where one Gurongi syllable could mean any of several Japanese syllables, so reverse translation through context is required.

Example: "Koroshite yaru!" ("I'll kill you!") becomes "Bosogide jasu!" (Ll'i llik uoy!), "Inochi biroi shita an?" ("What a narrow escape!") becomes "Giboji jisogi gida ba?" (Tahw a worran epacse!), etc.

    Grammar:

Mostly the same as in Japanese. However, for cases where a word has strong significance, said word are transferred to the end of the sentence, turning it "upside-down".

Example: "Kore wa Kuuga no beruto!?" ("Is this Kuuga's belt?) becomes "Bose'pa besudo'n Kuuga!?"

    Specific vocabulary:

In the middle of the series, most of the Gurongi are capable of speaking the language in their surroundings; when they are using said language in conversation, they still continue to use Gurongi on some single words. Such single words are related to the killing game.

Rinto (リント) Human - they are the descendants of the Rinto. Gegel (ゲゲル) : Game (Geemu [ゲーム]) Gerizagivazu Gegel (ゲリザギバス・ゲゲル) : Semifinal Game (Semifainaru Geemu [セミファイナルゲーム]) Guzepa (グセパ): Bracelet (udewa [腕輪 (うでわ)]) - records the victims in the Gegel of the Xu and Me clan. Bagundada (バグンダダ): Counter (Kauntaa (カウンター)) - abacus type of tools that records the victims of the Gegel. Zagivazu Gegel (ザギバス・ゲゲル) : Final Game (Fainaru Geemu (ファイナルゲーム))

N·Daguva·Zeba(ン・ダグバ・ゼバ, N Daguba Zeba) was the stag beetle-like lord of the Gurongi and the leader. He was given the codenames Unidentified Lifeform #0 (未確認生命体第0号, Mikakunin Seimeitai Dai Zero-gō) as his Intermediate Form and Unidentified Lifeform B13 (未確認生命体B群13号, Mikakunin Seimeitai Bīgun Jūsangō) as his human form.

    Personality:

Much like the rest of his kind, Daguva enjoys battle and is a social darwinist, meaning he'd kill Gurongi he thinks are inferior in terms of power. He also dislikes his own powers being used without permission, killing Nu·Zajio·Re and Xu·Goma·Gu for relying on pieces of his discarded armour.

Disturbingly, when in human form, Daguva acts akin to a young child, using modest pronouns when speaking with Kuuga.

He'd also rather fight and kill Kuuga at his most powerful (they'll try to persuade Kuuga to go into their ultimate form to fight him).

    Powers:

Gurongi Physiology: Among the Gurongi, Daguva was the strongest member, owing to his titanic strength and supernatural abilities. The sole being shown capable of matching him is Kuuga Ultimate Form, with anything less of little threat.

Transformation: Daguva can freely switch between his human and Gurongi form. In human form alone, his mere presence proved too much for Kuuga Pegasus Form, causing the latter to become stricken with immense fear and stress.

Morphing Power: One of his most powerful abilities, Daguva can change the structure of atoms themselves. While other Gurongi can do this to an extent, Daguva's skill and precision with it is nearly unparalleled. Thus, he can summon waves of flames in an instant, potentially capable of destroying the world if he desires to.

Regeneration: Daguva can regenerate from wounds inflicted on him, including attacks by Kuuga Ultimate Form.

Weather Manipulation: Daguva can control the weather without issue, having summoned a lightening bolt from the sky.

Teleportation: Daguva can instantly teleport into different locations.

Weaknesses: Amadam: Like Kuuga, Daguva has an Amadam hidden inside his waist. Unlike Kuuga though, it is not linked to a power source like Gouram, contributing to Daguva's downfall.

Blood-lust: Similar to all other Gurongi, Daguva's desire for carnage and destruction proved his ultimate undoing, given how he spared Kuuga on multiple occasions.

    Daguva's Intermediate Form:

The Intermediate Form (中間体, Chūkantai) of Daguva, more human-like in build, whilst retaining the hair he possessed in his previous form. Briefly appearing as the Gurongi lord, Daguva has power over his kind through fear. Due to being the leader of the Gurongi, Daguva likely has other powers not shown.

Intermediate Form Design: Pale white skin, large, messy and long curly hair, monstrous face, muscular torso, rags covering the lower half of his body and two more around their ankles, bare feet and sharp claws on the hands and a Gedoruto around their waist.

Daguva's Human Form Appearance: 1. Facial Features:

Eyes: Deep-set, dark brown eyes that exude calm intensity and quiet menace. His gaze is unwavering and controlled, often staring directly ahead as if peering into the essence of his opponent.

Expression: His face is almost always emotionless, though not cold. Instead, it carries a serene, otherworldly composure, as though he is perpetually detached from the concerns of mortals. There's a faint hint of curiosity or satisfaction in his expression—especially when observing Kuuga.

Forehead Marking: The most distinctive feature is the white Kuuga-esque (instead having 5 horns rather than the usual three) the standar crest on his forehead—an intricate, symmetrical symbol resembling a stylized flame or antlered crown. This mark is a visual callback to his Gurongi identity and his connection to Kuuga's ultimate form, specifically denoting his superior status as the Overlord Class.

    1. Hair:

    Color: Dark brown

Style: Mid-length and slightly unkempt, with natural volume and gentle waves. His hair frames his face loosely, emphasizing his youthful yet ageless appearance. It parts slightly in the middle, giving full view of the forehead symbol.

    1. Clothing:

Color Scheme: Daguva wears a white ensemble, symbolizing both purity and death—fitting for a being who brings extinction with a calm hand.

Jacket: A lightweight, white overcoat or long jacket, loose-fitting and elegant in its simplicity. The coat often billows subtly in wind or snow, enhancing his ethereal and enigmatic presence.

Undershirt: A plain white or light gray shirt, modest and unadorned, emphasizing his detachment from human vanity or flair.

Pendant: A thin black cord necklace, usually resting beneath the shirt collar, sometimes visible depending on his movement. It's unclear if the pendant has symbolic value or is purely aesthetic.

They also wear white trousers that slightly go over their white sneakers.

    1. Posture and Demeanor:

Body Language: He stands with relaxed but perfect posture—neither aggressive nor submissive. His movements are slow, deliberate, and graceful, giving off a constant sense of eerie control.

Aura: He radiates a sense of stillness and inevitability, much like a force of nature. Even in silence, his presence demands attention. His calmness feels unnatural, adding to the fear he invokes without ever raising his voice.

    Daguva's perfect form:

Daguva's Ultimate Form (究極体, Kyūkyokutai), or Perfect Form (完全体, Kanzentai), resembles Kamen Rider Kuuga's Ultimate Form but is white in color, adorned with a cape and several Gurongi accessories, and with a smaller four-pointed head crest. This similar appearance is because of Kuuga's ties to him. He is in possession of an Amadam that increases the his lifespan.

Overall Appearance: N-Daguva-Zeba's Perfect Form bears a striking resemblance to Kamen Rider Kuuga's Ultimate Form, reflecting their intertwined destinies. However, while Kuuga's Ultimate Form is black, Daguva's is a stark white, emphasizing the dichotomy between the two.

Armor and Accents: His armor is sleek and form-fitting, with golden accents adorning various parts, including the chest, shoulders, and limbs. These embellishments enhance his regal and imposing presence.

Cape: A distinctive white cape flows from his shoulders, adding to his majestic and authoritative aura. The cape's design is reminiscent of ancient royalty, signifying his status as the Gurongi lord.

Helmet and Facial Features: The helmet features a smaller head crest compared to Kuuga's, with intricate designs that highlight his Gurongi heritage. His eyes are void black, conveying his intense power and malice.

Gurongi Symbols: Various parts of his armor are inscribed with Gurongi symbols, reflecting his deep connection to the ancient tribe.

Amadam: Embedded within his body is the Amadam, a mystical stone that grants him immense power and longevity. This core is vital to his transformations and abilities.

The Rinto (リント) were a tribe of humans who lived in the early era of civilization, they are the ancestors of modern-day humans. They used Ancient Hieroglyphics. They were attacked by a tribe known as the Gurongi, who transformed into monstrous beings after finding a magical stone from the heavens and used it to wage war on the other tribes. Being a peaceful tribe, the Rinto never had a need for warriors. In fear of their tribe being eradicated by the Gurongi, the village shamans sought the help of Overlord of Darkness, who helped them by selecting Riku to become their tribe's defender, Kuuga. Although the Rinto champion defeated the Gurongi, having sealed all 200 of them away, the Rinto's lives were changed. Humans became as aggressive as the Gurongi and sought things to satisfy their desires.

The Rinto Hieroglyphics (リント文字, Rinto-Moji, "Rinto Writings") is the writing system used to record the language of the Rinto tribe.

They usually look square-like in shape. These glyphs can be seen carved on the monument at Kurogatake, Riku's sarcophagus, on Kuuga's body and the Gouram's armor, and in opening and closing screens of the series.

The Rinto script consists of phonograms and ideographic characters, pretty much like kanji in the Japanese language (which come from Ancient China).

The phonograms resemble katakana and their mirror characters are arranged side by side, and are pronounced the same way as the katakana part. They are used exclusively for proper nouns such as "Kuuga" and "Gurongi".

The ideographs are mainly hieroglyphs with radicals, like kanji. Nouns are basically drawn with linear or point symmetry. Verbs representing human action are represented by placing another character inside the hieroglyphic character for "person", which is altered like the radical of a Chinese character. Characters for numerals also exist.

The decryption of the letters was carried out by archeologist Sakurako Sawatari, by comparing the Rinto hieroglyphics with other scripts from different cultures, as ancient as they could be.

There is no evidence as to how Rinto hieroglyphics are pronounced in the series, with the exception of the Gouram "uttering" in incomprehensible vowel-intensive noises, which is confirmed to be the Rinto language.
