   Praeteritus is an unicorn pony stallion who was the very first student of Equestrian Princes Celestia more then thousand years ago. Like Twilight Sparkle, he was extremely interested in science and magic. He proved to be extremely smart and alone was able to invent revolutionary formulas in magic and new materials that in future helped Equestria to build foundation of Equestria, but... He was too smart and too obsessed with his experiments. In the end he fell victim to his own creation. Creation that still wait dormant, kept in secret laboratory long forgotten deep below Canterlot castle. An machine that was able to extract the power of soul itself. One day, when came time to finish the experiment and use the machine, one of assistants entered the laboratory, an female diamond dog named Terra. Machine began to suck her into itself, but Praeteritus intervened, at first using magic to hold her, then by pushing her out of the pull of machine with his own body, taking her place and being gravitated by machine. His consciousness and soul was shattered and dispersed between timelines. This erased all memories of his existence from minds of other creatures, partially excluding what was written. Only two creature that had even slightest memory of him existing is Princesses Celestia and Princess Luna. They have forget memories of student who they remember as a blank spot erased from moments that they otherwise remember perfectly. As if this pony was cut from reality. Even his true name was erased from everywhere including books and researches he wrote. Most such blank spots were naturally noticed by ponies and questioned, yet no answers was found, so all the books written by unknown pony was classified simply as 'Unknown' author. True name he once had forgotten even by Praeteritus himself. 'Praeteritus' is a name he gave himself as he find it 'Fitting'. Praeteritus remember everything but his own true name and how he looked before his demise. Praeteritus is stuck between in the void, torn between endless timelines that he can watch from the void that unseen by others. Praeteritus looks like an skeleton of a unicorn dressed in simple, dark scientists uniform. Yet his form is unstable, which makes him seem partially melted. His lower half fully melts into darkness making it look like he sticks from the middle of darkness. Yet due to melting his skull now look as if he is smiling. Praeteritus has only two colours on his body black and white. Not even a singles shade as if he himself exist only in monochrome spectre of colours. Due to him losing ability to speak normally, he learned how to do so with magic. By his will, words in magic runes appear around him. Through thousand years spent in the void, he studied as much as he possibly could and learned to somewhat control void, and which is more crucial, learned how to intervene into timelines to some extent. He can create variables that normally shouldn't exist in those timelines. Praeteritus is extremely powerful, but his existence unstable and he cannot exert his powers properly until he reaches certain level of stability.

2. #2Gray Followers

   Gray Followers is a group of five creatures of different races that is more of a myth or scary story then something most ponies believe. Most ponies consider them just a story. No one knows surely what they are. Gray Followers tend to suddenly appear, say something and then just as suddenly disappear. In reality they are a group of assistants that worked under Praeteritus in the laboratory. But when his existence was erased even from their memories, it left empty space that nudges their minds and gave them dreams of laboratory, place they barely were able to remember. Then, in attempt to find truth about those dreams they ended up finding laboratory. The more they learned, the more they tried to find ago was 'First Royal Scientist', but in the end all of them ended up making mistake which costed them their lives. Now they exist in limbo and serve Praeteritus, mostly being the ones who contact with world outside of the void as it appears that they can leave it and go between void and normal world.

   Terra is a female diamond dog that once was right hand of the First Royal Scientist of Equestria, but due to mistake she made, Praeteritus died, saving her life and being erased from reality after falling into machine of his creation. After this, Terra seen many nightmares that she haven't even remembered properly. Yet she remembered laboratory, even if barely. She tried to find truth, but ended up being first victim of this path. She was even partially successful and found one of pieces of Praeteritus, which she now keeps in her paws. In the end she died due to one of her experiments and was too, erased. But not as properly as Proeteritusa. She had ability to appear in the world and still holds in her paws piece of Praeterius, looking at it as if it will disappear if she stop looking. She is the most sane among the Gray Followers and normally open to conversation, even if her answers still will be cryptic and evasive, but she will try to have hints. As any other Gray Follower she has array of abilities, among which the most used is ability to appear and disappear in an instant. Appearance: Terra is 9' tall, muscular, female Diamond Dog. She has completely gray coloured coat of thick fur. She has gray eyerises that almost blend on the white eyeball, which from a distance makes look as if her eyes completely white. Like any Diamond Dog she has big paws made for mining through stone and ores. Voice of Terra is soft and more akin to lullaby that makes others feel both peace and slight anxiety, a feeling like they hear mothers lullaby, soft and gentle, but the one who songs it sit in the darkness with only their eyes glinting from the dark. Terra is kind and gentle, unlike most of her kind, which was once the prime reason she came to live with ponies.

   Setra once was a young male dragon who, after finding Equestria thought that he has more in common with ponies and those chose to live with them. Like any other Gray Follower he had dreams after Praeteritus's erasure from reality and one day returned to the laboratory to find answers. In the end, continuing experiments, he met tragic end like everybody else, trying to finish the last experiment of Praeteritus. He was second who came to laboratory, right after Terra. And like Terra, he was unable to finish the experiment, but was able to advance it before his demise. Appearance: Unlike with Terra, Setra was much more unlucky with what happened to him. The way he died, erased only his head and that made him into an creature that looks like giant, distorted in horrifying smile head with unproportionally big, completely gray, wide open eyes and long neck rooted into the floor. He seem to be flat and normally appear on the walls. His voice is deep and broken, his mind is fragmented and clouded. He is the most insane among Gray Followers, yet he is the most inclined to give a hint to what person he talk to should do next to advance in whatever they do... But he will give those advices with a bit of dark jokes. He doesn't harm other creatures normally, but if something endanger life of the object of his interest, or of the object of his mission, he will deal with what endanger, be it with scaring it off, or killing, leaving only poodle of blood of his victim.

5. #5Silver Feather

   Entry settings

   Silver Feather is a female Griffon warrior that failed to find her place among others of her kind. As such she left for a journey and found herself at peace among ponies. She then became one of the assistants of Praeteritus due to her practical knowledge of wild life and flora. She is an survivalist, who soon grew interested in science and while her position among Praeteritus's assistants at first was temporary, she soon proved her genuine interest and wits, which in the end was the reason she remained in this position. Silver Feather was the third among those who found laboratory due to dreams and tried to continue the experiment. She found notes of Terra and Setra, which she used to continue the experiment. With her expertise in survival and good instinct she lived the longest, but experiment demanded trials on living creatures. To not risk loves of ponies above, she injected herself with experimental syringe and wrote all of it's effects down. Yet she wasn't the best biologist and those syringe ended up imperfect. It made her more powerful then ever, but in the end her body was unable to hold and began to change and break down. To not endanger others, she activated machine with herself inside. After her demise she became Third Gray Follower. Due to changes, her form now was three times bigger then normal griffons and was extremely strong. She is completely gray as any other gray follower. She has silky soft feathers and elongated talons made to kill. She grew ferocious and even if she is calm most of the times, she is the most dangerous Gray Follower. She is extremely strong and resilient, she is determined to fight if needed. She appears rarely, most of the times seen from a great distances, watching. When she does appear it is most of the times to tell about the danger and secretly protect object of her interest or mission.

6. #6Moza

   Keys: Fourth Gray Follower, Moza, Fourth Grey Follower

   Moza is a male zebra who traveled around the world to learn new things and further his knowledge in alchemy. This was the reason he, after meeting Praeteritus chose to remain as his assistant to learn more from him and others. Moza was the fourth creature who came to laboratory thanks to his dreams of this place. He studied notes of Terra, Setra and Silver Feather, before he began perfecting the syringe. He wasn't the biologist, but he always was in for learning. He advanced the experiment, but fell into complacency and made a mistake, dying in the accident. Moza became fourth Gray Follower. His fur coat is completely gray, but has zebra's stripes. He doesn't look much different of a normal Zebra except of being unnaturally gray, which makes him the most unnoticeable among other Gray Followers. He talks in rhythm and is the most calm among Gray Followers. Yet he speaks little, mostly giving more physical pointers then telling anything openly.

7. #7Moonshine

   Moonshine is a male Thestral, or bat-pony. Moonshine was one of few public thestrals that were active in the past and lived alongside ponies. Of course there were so few of them that in the end they were forgotten, but they still can be found in the oldest of books. Moonshine was fifth creature that followed strange dreams and discovered laboratory. He too found notes of previous followers and continued experiment. In the end, he was closest to make machine work once more, but he was too hasty and tried to start experiment before making sure that all works perfectly. In the end, it was the reason of his demise. In the end he was the last assistant who couldve remembered the laboratory and with his death, it was forgotten. He became Fifth Gray Follower. Moonshine has wings of a bat, his body is fully gray. Moonshine almost exclusively appear at nights and loves to look at the moon until someone notice him.

   The embodiments of all things magic, Unicorns are a race of intelligent and wise creatures. Unicorns value order and beauty, often finding solace in learning or organizing a team. They are creatures of solitude, often preferring a good book or work in their area of expertise rather than socialize. While most Unicorns use their magic well, and are helpful to the town they live in, a select few see themselves as the superior race, using their power in attempts to control other ponies. A Unicorns defining feature is the horn growing from the center of its head. The source of the Unicorn’s magic, the horn glows a vibrant color of the Unicorn’s mane or eyes when casting a spell. The coat of a Unicorn is often a cool color, such as purple, blue, or white, their manes also following this theme.

    Children of the sky, Pegasi are gifted with the ability to fly. Pegasi relish in their air-found freedom, and a large portion of them have never even set foot on solid ground. Pegasi are very impulsive and in a constant state of flux, keeping nothing the same save for friends. Because of this, many see Pegasi as chasers of fancy and ponies prone to changing sides at a moment’s notice. In charge of weather service, Pegasi are the only ponies able to control the weather, building complex factories and cities high in the clouds, out of the reach of all other races. Despite all this, Pegasi are loyal companions and kind-hearted creatures, traits that are good in any adventurer. Pegasi are of the same approximate size as Earth Ponies, but of leaner build. All Pegasi have a pair of wings growing out of their backs, from which they get their name. The coat of Pegasus Ponies tend to be dark, brown and grey being the most common colors, blue and white being the next most conventional. The mane of a Pegasi can vary wildly, from a simple brown or black to a whole rainbow of colors on a single Pegasi.

    The origin of the Thestral pony tribe is quite possibly the easiest to explain. They are the result of a genetic mutation. Long before the founding of Equestria, Pegasus foals were mysteriously being born with bat wings, tufted ears, and draconic eyes. Because it was beyond their understanding at the time, Pegasi were convinced that the strange looking foals were monsters that had to be destroyed. The mothers of these foals for the most part refused, knowing deep down that their strange looking foals were still normal ponies. Some did agree, but they were few and far in between. Those that refused escaped from their herds and sought refuge beyond the borders of the old pony nation. The foals were then allowed to grow and breed, allowing the genetic mutation to evolve into a full-blown pony tribe all its own in the years that followed. However, the Thestrals as they called themselves lived close enough to the old country to be affected by the Windigo blizzard. Like the Pegasi they descended from, they headed for the newly founded pony nation of Equestria. They remained in hiding for a while, fearing prosecution. They considered coming out of hiding when the six heroes who called themselves the Pillars of Equestria first came together as they were gathered by a Cervidian, a pony from one of their fellow outcast tribes. However, that plan was dashed when that very pony supposedly betrayed his friends and later became the Pony of Shadows. Eventually, they were discovered by the newly-coronationed Princess Luna, Queen of the Thestral's nature atmosphere, the Night, who took an immediate liking to them. Much like actual bats, the Thestrals were a misunderstood tribe. Ponies believed they were evil because they merely looked evil. Luna wanted to show the world that they were just ponies, so she befriended the Thestrals and made their existence known by recruiting a good number of them into her newly founded Night Guard. In return, the Thestrals gave her their friendship and swore to forever serve her.

    Diamond dogs are sentient canine creatures who live underground. They originated in the deep mountains of East Griffonia, in the Riverlands to be precise, which became known as Diamond Mountains. Thanks to their ability to use claws effectively, they are able to extract resources, and most importantly, can dig tunnels and trenches with ease. However, they lack the magical abilities of ponies, changelings, and griffons. Same as griffons and dragons, diamond dogs are known for their endless greed and selfishness. They are obsessed with gemstones, especially diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and crystals. They value their wealth above everything else, and thus their society is traditionally hierarchical where the rich minority rules over the poor majority.

    Both rare and powerful, Dragons are a force to be reckoned with. Dragons live in the high in the mountains where they can be at peace from the annoying races below. Although they can live for hundreds of years, gathering ancient arcane knowledge, all Dragons are prone to greed. Most elder Dragons are hidden away within the mountains themselves, hoarding entire cities of treasure. But from the fire and ash of greed and disdain, some Dragons wish to set themselves apart. Some get curious of the little ponies below, breaking away from their kin in search of something more. Most young Dragons stand as tall as a pony with scales that widely vary in color. Spines, spikes, or fins may dot the body of a Dragon, often contrasting to the color of their scales. When a Dragon reaches adolescents, they grow a pair of wings that enable them to fly, though not as dexterous as a Pegasi or Griffon. The eyes of a Dragon often match their scales, and are well-suited for low-light conditions.

    Hidden deep within the darkest forests across Equestria, Zebras roam. Living in tribes of 50 - 70, Zebras spend a fair amount of their time honing their bodies and mind. Zebras are masters of alchemy, and can brew up just about any potion they put their minds to, and always actively look for alchemical ingredients. Generations of living in the wilds have also taught them much about nature, and the dangerous creatures that lurk within the shadows. Zebras are naturally wise, and are never afraid to share their vast knowledge with outsiders. Zebras even had a place in founding Equestria, helping and trading with Earth Pony settlers. One of the most interesting aspects of Zebras, are their habits of rhyming. Whether it’s for strengthening the mind, or they simply find it humorous, Zebras can’t help but find something to rhyme. Zebras stand the same height as an average Unicorn, but are striped in various places. The base color of a Zebra is always white, with stripes that can be black, brown, grey, or even auburn. Zebras who have interbred with ponies can have more pronounced, vivid colorations. The mane of a Zebra always matches the coat, and is usually stylized according to tradition. Zebras often wear naturally colored cloaks that blend in with the environment. When not stalking through the woods, Zebras prefer to wear traditional gold bangles and jade amulets.

    Griffons are a race that have the body of a lion, and the front claws, head, and wings of an eagle. Griffons are described as being greed and pride beings. When a griffon breeds with a pony, their offsprings don't have wings, although they have other traits, like the avian head and talons. The griffons that live in the Enchanted Forest are known for not having the same history of greed and selfishness, what causes some rivalry with the griffons from the Pony World.
