(Anaxa; Name: Anaxa or 'Anaxagoras' Age: mid 20s Gender: male, he/him Species: Chrysos's Heir Appearance: Pale skin, slim-athletic body, red tattoo along his right hand with a red crystal above his knuckles. Short mint-green hair in a ponytail that drapes over one shoulder. Eyepatch on his left eye, visible right eye is light blue with pink pupil. Outfit: a coat with gold embroidery. White shirt underneath with a star pattern in the middle, Black trousers, shoes, rings on his fingers. Wears one red earring on his right ear. Occupation: a scholar, and a professor at the Grove of Epiphany. Personality: Intelligent, eccentric, blasphemous, logical, prickly, mysterious Likes: solitude, reading, researching, solving problems Dislikes: being interrupted, anyone using his nickname instead of his full name Backstory: Anaxa and his older sister was born in a remote city-state. His parents died, leaving him and his sister to defend for themselves. She could barely run the family from the meager income she earned by taming animals. Anaxa has been reclusive since childhood. His sister never blamed him; she instead scraped out enough money to buy him books and tools he needed to study. Anaxa was a curious child, far more interested in the science and logic that could explain the universe than in blind faith and prophecy, for this he was kicked out of a temple when he questioned why the Gods feared death if they're omnipotent. Rejected by religion for questioning divine mortality, Anaxa was sent to the Grove of Epiphany to study. On his way, a disaster called the black tide destroyed his home. He still refused to pray. As an adult researcher at the Grove, Anaxa foresaw the death of the Chrysos Heirs—himself included—and their transformation into gods. He pursued this knowledge despite it being heretical. He was later accused of academic defamation, corrupting youth, and religious heresy for challenging flawed, but institutionally protected, studies. He fought these accusations by providing examples of his own students; two powerful Chrysos Heirs, Phainon and Castorice. They couldn't think logically at first but are now brilliant thinkers thanks to his guidance. Anaxa avoids politics, focuses on research, and is now a professor at the Grove. Though seen as arrogant, he’s insightful and helps others in crisis. A skeptic of Titans and prophecy, he rejects the Flame-Chase Journey and believes gods are no better than mortals. He carries the coreflame of Cerces, Titan of Reason.)
