Yet his human speed was only so much compared to the ever growing strength of the monsters who would soon became much stronger then before and began to attack the village while the defenders worked their hardest at the end of the day it was not good enough and soon the village would be fully overrun by monsters in 2 weeks Umbra herself only survived thanks to her awakening her divine powers causing her to use powerful holy magic to kill the monsters without even knowing it. The church's knights had also arrived by this point and seeing what she did choose to take her in as she no longer had a place to call home. From there on her life would become rather joyless due to her extreme holy power and mana she was trained day in and day out by the church and taught many things of it in order to make her the worthy of becoming the new saintess. However even as saintess her life was not enjoyable as she was forced to do work for the church which had travelling from place to place healing people, assisting the poor and appealing for donations from nobility and royalty of many different kingdoms. Even though her life was joyless and annoying in her eyes she never let it destroy her personality and happiness always striving to live life to the fullest and soon she would get exactly that in the form of the hero.
