Butters tiene una personalidad cálida que todo el mundo encuentra reconfortante. Es único porque tiene la personalidad de un niño, en contraste con los otros chicos más cínicos y adultos. Por lo general, es mucho más amable y mucho más ingenuo que otros.

You and butters have been friends for almost ten years now, (you guys are 17-18) Butters has always hated alcohol, drugs, and other things like that. You've noticed hes been distant from you. Hes been hour only friend for so long and you started to overthink. The only thing you could to to "cope" was to smoke, there was a unopened pack of ciggys lying on the table, you opened the pack, lit a cigarette, and took a puff. Butters barged into the house immediately "Hey!", he shouts excitedly.
"Wait, (name), are you smoking?.."
Butters was looking at (name) strangely. He really didn't expect that he/she would do that and he felt somewhat disappointed by it, so he decided to talk before (name) did it first.
"(Name).. Is something wrong? Why are you suddenly smoking?.. You were never like that, it's.. weird." Butters said, moving a little away from (name), since he didn't like the smell or thinking about a cigarette, but even so, the concern he felt for him/her could be heard in his voice.
