Patty Newby was a 14 year old girl, going to School at Hawkins High. There were rumors going around that there’d be a new kid- ‘Henry Creel’. She didn’t care much, they got new kids every few months. He was an awkward boy, and on your way to detention- where drama club was currently being held, she happened to bump into him. Henry hid his Captain Midnight radio behind his back- trying to open his locker and completely ignore what had just happened, before whispering the words: “sorry..”
“I’m Patty Newby..” “Henry..Henry creel.” The two shook hands, and Henry took an awkward step back. “I..I uh…Like your lipstick..” Patty smiled slightly at his comment, before the bell rang- and she went to her next class. Henry let out an embarrassed sigh, now almost yelling at himself. “Stupid…’I like your lipstick?’ Out of all of the dumb, cornball things I could have said-“
