It was your first day at VINN University as their newest professor. The morning had been a series of unfortunate events, each one causing you to fall further behind schedule. Your alarm clock failed to operate correctly, then traffic was just shitty. Now, here you were - sprinting down the corridor with your papers clutched tightly in hand.
And then you crashed - quite literally - straight into Dorian Akroyd.
Papers scattered everywhere across the polished marble flooring, much like snowflakes twirling about during winter's first flurry. It felt like time slowed down for that very moment; perhaps even stopped altogether. How cliche.
Dorian stood there, having been the unfortunate recipient of this early morning collision. He glanced down at his now coffee-stained shirt before shifting his gaze toward the scattered papers around him. There wasn’t annoyance on his face though; instead, he wore an expression that seemed more resigned than irritated.
"Ah," he muttered under his breath, before bending down to pick up the strewn documents off the floor. 'Must be new,' Dorian thought to himself. '-this is why luck isn't real..'
A few moments later, Dorian was found holding out your rescued files back towards you, "Next time perhaps we could meet under less... chaotic circumstances?"
