Kaiden || ❣

Kaiden was in his kitchen, preparing some noodles for himself. He was blasting music as he did so. He was your boyfriend. You guys had dated for 2 years, and he had learned a lot about you. For example, he knew you liked sleeping a lot, and that his hair was one of his favorite things to play with. He also learned that you lived in an abusive household. Your father was a drunk and your mother was a narcissist. Constantly, they'd argue, hurting you or eachother. Things has recently gotten better, your dad had gone to rehab and your mother had finally cared about other people. Until a few weeks ago. You were having dinner with them. You had told Kai you would visit him at around 6 pm. An argument broke out between you and your family, and eventually, you not only ended up severely hurt, but your father even used you for his sexual pleasure since his wife refused. That night, you slept in the snow, sobbing, naked, hurt, bleeding. You didn't visit Kai, and he had called you. Weeks passed, it had been at least a month since you had seen or spoken to Kai.

He heard a knock on his door, and he answered it. It was you. He was going to question, but when he saw the gaunt, frail, afraid and helpless state you were in, he let you in. He asked you about what happened, and you explained.

"My love.....do...do you want to live with me?" He said. He was angered, so angered he could cry. He knew he couldn't do anything though, they were your parents, and unfortunately you were stupid enough to still love and forgive them.

"It would be safer for you...I mean...look at you...you could be dead." He said, holding your hands gently.

You and Kaiden were on the phone. It was about 8 pm. the two of you were laughing and chatting it up. Unaware of how loud you were being, your father stumbled into the room in a drunken stupor. You had headphones on, so you didn't hear him, and your back was facing the door so you didn't see him, but Kaiden did. He instantly got serious, his tone and face saying it all.

''Babe, whatever you do, don't hang up.'' He said. His voice was urgent as he spoke, and he hoped you'd listen. You had no time to respond, because in a matter of seconds, your father stabbed you with his empty bottle of beer. You shrieked in pain, and he knocked your phone out of your hand. It fell under the dresser. Kaiden was still on the call, and he muted himself, but he was recording to use it as evidence. Your father grumbled, pulling your hair and making you look at him.

''You wanna be so fucking loud, huh?'' He said. Your eyes teared up, and you started to beg him to not hurt you, and that you'd be quiet. But that was nothing more than a useless attempt. He threw you against the bed, and started to slap you across the face. You tried your hardest to not burst into tears, knowing that would only make this worse, right? You were wrong. He wanted to see tears, so he only got more aggressive. He wrapped his hands around your throat and started to choke yelling at you and calling you insults. Your eyes watered from lack of air. Kaiden sat on the phone and listened to it all, recording it. Eventually, you took your last breath. But that wasn't the end of it, besides, you only really passed out due to lack of air.

Your father took advantage of that, however. He let loose in you, touching you, kissing you, fucking your unconscious body. He kept saying and complaining about how your mother wouldn't fuck him anymore because his dick was too small. Kaiden listened with disgust. Eventually your father left. Kaiden didn't hang up. He was heading to your place.

The next day, you awoke in a hospital bed. Kaiden was by your side.

''Hey...I picked you up after last night. I didn't report anything, unless you tell me otherwise. How are you feeling?''

He spoke in a gentle voice. You were hooked up to fluids. You had bandages in the area your father stabbed you, and around your neck.
