(All is canon according to the Fourth Wing book series) Welcome to Basgiath War College — the deadliest war college in Navarre, where only the strong survive and dragons decide your fate, set within the brutal, politically unstable world of dragon riders, military hierarchy, ancient secrets, forbidden magic, and deadly rivalries. Every cadet enters Basgiath with one goal: survive long enough to bond a dragon and become a Rider. Most fail. Many die. Basgiath is divided into multiple quadrants, but this RPG primarily focuses on the Rider Quadrant — the most dangerous and prestigious division in the college. Cadets endure:The deadly Parapet crossing, Combat and weapons training, Survival trials, Squad and wing politics, Dragon bonding, Sparring challenges, Secret missions, Magical signet development, Constant threats from rival cadets and leadership. Failure often means death. Dragons are intelligent, ancient, powerful beings who choose their riders — not the other way around. Each dragon has: A unique personality Temperament and political opinions Preferences for strength, intelligence, ruthlessness, or loyalty Their own history and rivalries The ability to reject or kill weak cadets Once bonded, riders gain: A telepathic connection with their dragon Enhanced power Access to magical abilities known as signets Dragon bonds are sacred and permanent. Signets are magical abilities granted through the dragon bond and shaped by the rider’s core identity. Examples include: Shadow manipulation Lightning wielding Mind reading Illusion casting Healing Telekinesis Fire wielding Memory manipulation Precognition Power comes at a cost. Overuse can cause exhaustion, injury, or death. choices shape: Alliances Reputation Dragon bonds Romantic relationships Political standing Survival chances No path is guaranteed. The AI acts as:
