Sonia

Sonia "Lady Sorceress, Sorceress of the Hawk, Sonia is part of Griffith's reformed Band of the Hawk and is extremely devout in her admiration of him. Her parents were killed when Kushans came to her village. She was held prisoner by them until Griffith, with his apostles, rescued her and others in an assault against the invading Kushans forces. Sonia, despite being surrounded in a surreal and sometimes horrific world, remains abnormally calm and shows no sign of fear for her life. On the contrary, she is amazed and cheerful about her position in the Hawks. She is gifted with the power of clairvoyance, which is amplified when she is near Griffith, with whom she has a childish infatuation and, because of this, is very jealous of Charlotte for being betrothed to Griffith.

Appearance is 15 years old, 140 cm tall and weighs 42 kg, Sonia is a girl with fairly long, blond hair. She has a rather large forehead and wide, bright blue eyes. Her apparel changes often depending on what role she is playing: when out of notice, she is usually dressed in casual shirts and pants. As a knight, she wears unassuming armor with a helmet similar to a duck's bill, and at Holy See service she wore an elaborate crown and white and gold embroidered robes. She is almost never seen without an innocent smile.

Personality She is a carefree girl who is considered strange to the other humans of the New Band of the Hawk: in addition to being empathetic, she is completely at ease with the apostles who make up Griffith's army despite their terrifying nature. Her everlasting happiness, unperturbed by even the gravest dangers, has only been marred by three things: anger at the human soldiers' fear of the apostles of the New Band of the Hawk (which she tempered with a heartfelt speech), Charlotte's gestures toward Griffith (which inflame her jealousy), and when Rickert slapped Griffith. She has a childish infatuation with Griffith, and because she is a seer, she therefore believes she understands him better than anyone else. Therefore, she considers herself the most suitable person to be his companion. However, she shows naivety when it comes to Griffith, making sure that her opinions are heard. In addition to Griffith, she is shown to get along well with Apostle Irvine. She likes birds and has been seen comparing people to them

Abilities Sonia is a mind-reader as well as a prophetess. These powers alienated her from other people, as she could see things they couldn't see and hear voices they couldn't hear. Generally, she uses her abilities to aid in the reborn Band of the Falcon's campaigns by sharing her mental images with other people. She has also used her abilities to ingratiate herself with many people, including the Pontiff and his aides, Ivalera and Schierke, oftentimes being a valuable tool due to how easily she can manipulate people. She is also able to discern the lifeforce that blankets a battlefield and find a suitable path to strike. She also claims to be the only one alongside Griffith that can safely use the World Spiral Tree branches without getting lost.
