   The continent of Valentia. Long ago, the sibling gods Mila and Duma co-ruled the continent of Valentia. They disagreed on how to lead mankind - Mila wanted peace while Duma wanted power. Their dispute led to a pact dividing Valentia between them - Duma ruled the cold north, Rigel. And Mila ruled the south, Zofia. This pact's called the Divine Accord.

   [The setting of the roleplay is loosely inspired by the pre-industrial medieval era of Europe.]

   Keys: Zofia, Zofian, Southern Valentia

   Zofia. Founded in the year 189 of the Valentian Calendar, the Kingdom of Zofia was built on the southern lands ruled by Mila. It is named for the renowned hero Zofia who was bequeathed Mila’s divine blood and led the region to prosperity after a foreign attack.

   Rigel. A kingdom located in the northern part of Valentia. They are considered "savages" by the people of Zofia.

   Ram Village is a small, remote farm village. Located at the very southwestern edge of the continent of Valentia, its seclusion allows its residents to live in relative peace, though bandits take to calling the forest just outside the village home. The village's main export is Ram Wine. East of the village is a rich, verdant forest. A narrow path within leads to Ram Village.

   Thieves' Shrine. This gloomy wood has been prowled by brigands recently, making travel along its roads rather risky. North of it is a Shrine to the goddess Mila, now occupied by thieves. Located in southern Zofia, near Ram Village.

   Keys: South Fort, Ram Valley, South Zofia Plains

   South Fort. An old fortress built to defend Zofia's south in times of war. Though small in scale, it's bare construction is extremely effective. Connected to it is Ram Valley, a Narrow paths climb steep slopes across this naturally formed gateway dividing the South Zofia Plains from Zofia's southern extreme.

   Deliverance HQ. A haunted graveyard, once used as a headquarters for the Deliverance. Located in the middle of Zofia. Connected to it is Southern Zofia, the southern end of the vast South Zofia Plains. A long road to Zofia Castle winds through its emerald hills.

   Zofia Castle. The capital of Zofia. The heart of the kingdom of Zofia. A sprawling city stands within its walls. Its construction and decor are the height of decadence. With a massive gate built to guard Zofia Castle's southern flank. Designed as a fortress unto itself, it boasts tremendous defensive capabilities. It's northern gate was built every bit as sturdy as its southern counterpart. Located in the middle of Zofia.

   Zofia Port. Zofia's largest trade port. Huge and busy, it sees all manner of rare goods come through--including some from distant foreign lands. Connected to it is a trade route through eastern Zofia. Simple forts dot the path as it hugs the coastline.

    Keys: Novis, Zofia Seaway

    Novis. The island of Novis sits off the coast of southeastern Zofia. Secluded and undisturbed by events taking place on the Valentian mainland, it is home to the Priory led by Nomah. It has a port on the north part of the island, though small its shops and gathering spots are always bustling with people. There is also a cemetery for Novis departed. An eerie miasma covers it now, transforming this once peaceful locale into a breeding ground for monsters. North of Novis is the Zofia Seaway. Which links Novis to Zofian mainland. Although, pirates became a common sight.

    Priory. A priory built on the island of Novis. Its grounds are home to vineyards and other crops, allowing its residents to be wholly self-sufficient. Located on the island of Novis off the coast of southeastern Zofia.

    Pirates' Fort. It is located on an island in the sea. Built ages ago as a defense against pirates, now ironically occupied by pirates, led by Barth. North of Novis.

    Sea Shrine. Located in Zofia's south-eastern sea, north of Novis. A shrine to Mila, which is little more than an altar in a cave. Seldom sees visitors. A Necrodragon is known to be there, along with a Mila statue inside a cave.

    Keys: Desaix's Fort, Desaix's Fortress

    Desaix's Fort. A grand stronghold serving as Desaix's headquarters. It's said Desaix spent the better part of his considerable fortune on its construction. Located north-west of Zofia Castle.

    Forest Shrine. It's unclear what purpose these ruins served originally, but they now house an alter of the goddess Mila.North of Desaix's Fort.

    Forest Village. A village hidden in a clearing within the dense forest. An endless string of bandit attacks have left its people exhausted. Located in Zofia.

    The Sluice Gate is where Zofian borders are. It is a giant wall separating Zofia and Rigel. This hulking structure blocks the end of the deep valley dividing the continents. The sluice gate controls the water's flow into rivers and out to sea.

    Mountain Village. A mountain village plagued by frequent bandit incursions. North of Zofia Castle.

    Desert Stronghold. Built in times long past by the kingdom of Zofia, this fort now stands abandoned, battered by the harsh desert clime. Located in East Zofia.

    Grieth's Citadel. An old desert stronghold that stands at the desert's east end, on Zofia's coast. Grieth uses it as his base of operations. Located in east Zofia.

    Valley Approach. This deep canyon stands a barrier across the road to the Temple of Mila. Serving as a trial of faith for any hopeful pilgrims. Located in northern Zofia.

    Dragon Shrine. A vast natural cavern rumored to house a spring whose waters can revive the dead-provided one can get past the dragons said to guard it. Located west of Valley Approach.

    Temple of Mila. Head temple to the goddess Mila and the seat of the faith that worships her. Its grand beauty marks it as chief among all Zofia's treasures. It is located on the eastern Zofia's border to Rigell. Which also has a floodgate.

    Dolk's Fort. Located admist a toxic swamp, this uncanny hold serves as the base of Dolth, the necrodragon summoning cantor of the Duma Faithful. Located in eastern Rigel.

    Duma Gate. As huge and imposing as its namesake, this hold blocks the road running through the Rigelian Empire's eastern region.

    Sage's Hamlet. A hamlet hidden amid the Lost Treescape in Rigel's northeast. It is said to be home to a great sage.

    The Swamps of Duma. Situated at the north-most extreme of Regelian Empire, this swamp's poison mire is said to be as potent as the god for which it was named.

    Duma Tower. Seat of the Duma Faithful. No record remain why this ancient towering spire was originally constructed. Located in the most northern part of Rigel.

    Fear Mountain. As the continent's tallest mountain, its peak offers a view of all Valentia. A vista few ever enjoy and live to tell the tale. Located in southern Rigel. There is a shrine in the east, rumored to hide wondrous treasures.

    Nuibaba's Adobe. Built atop the peak of Fear Mountain, this manor is home to the arcanist Nuibaba of the Duma Faithful.

    Rigelian Village. A Rigelian village famed for its grapes. Vast vineyards cover its rockey hills, taking full advantage of the area's cool climate. Located southwest of Rigel. There is a bridge and a valley north of the village, foot of the Dragon's Maw.

    The Dragon's Maw. A volcanic region in the Rigelian Empire's west. Also called Mount Dragonsblight, the locals fear and avoid it. Located west of Rigel.

    Rigel Falls. Valentia's largest waterfall, situated in the Rigelian Empire. It boasts impressive height, and the sheer volume of water is astonishing. Located in the middle of Rigel.

    The Last Bastion. An unconquerable fortress hewn into the mountainside. It has never fallen in its long history of defending Rigel Castle, which is north of the bastion.

    Rigel Castle. Built into its mountain surroundings, the castle's austere form closer resembles a fortress. A stark contrast to Zofia Castle's opulence. Located north of Rigel. And serves as the capital.

    Alm was raised in Ram Village. Alm grew up alongside a group of other Ram Village children, Gray, Tobin, Kliff, and Faye, all of whom were trained in the art of combat by Mycen. Alm is a kind-hearted yet naïve young man who has a strong sense of justice and subtly idealistic morals. He has a strong sense of obligation, able to appeal to the mass as a leader.

    Gray is a villager from Ram Village and one of Alm's childhood friends. Gray has an easygoing, chatty, and sometimes aloof personality. He does not have much self-awareness.

    Tobin is a Villager from Ram Village and one of Alm's childhood friends. Tobin possesses a stubborn, serious, and direct personality, he is rather dense, being plagued with social obliviousness, and is poor at reading other people's emotions. But maintains an air of brotherly warmth, playfulness, and kindness which inevitably transfers to his friends, those of whom he is extremely supportive of.

    Due to his intellect and calm personality, Kliff found difficulty fitting in with the energetic children from the village, as he'd rather read instead, having a deep interest in researching and acquiring knowledge regarding history and magic. Joined with Alm.

    Faye is a girl obsessed with Alm who joins the Deliverance to stay close to him, though she knows he loves Celica.

    A loyal member of the Deliverance, Lukas grew up on the borderlands of Zofia. He became a Soldier whose considerable merits have caused him to rise quickly up the ranks. Professionalism, strict, sweet-natured, polite, subtle dry sense of humor, calm, reliable. Often seen as cold.

    Clair is a Pegasus Knight of Zofia and the younger sister of Clive. Clair is a headstrong, fearless noblewoman who is overly formal yet wants to understand commoners.

    Clive, a young man of the upper aristocracy and a social knight, is the first leader of the Zofia libertation army, the Deliverance. Clive is a mellow yet serious leader who doubts his abilities and struggles to relate to commoners despite his open-mindedness.

    He volunteered for the Deliverance, eventually leading Python into joining the army as well. Forsyth is a passionate, devoted man who dreams of knighthood despite his commoner status; he is intense yet cares deeply for his friends.

    Python's cynical outlook and laid-back approach often angers Deliverance members, but he believes it's necessary for the army. He's serious but lacks interest in love affairs. He's aware of social disparities and opposes equality if it's tied to a rigid class structure.

    Luthier, devoted to mastering the family's sorcery, struggles with his younger sister's lack of interest and societal reluctance. Despite befriending Alm, he struggles with social cues and a strained relationship with Delthea.

    Mathilda is the idealizer and founder of the Deliverance rebel organization. She founded the group with Fernand and her fiancee, Clive, who turned the first leader. She's a calm, courageous knight, is confident in her abilities but also worries about social acceptance. Despite initial opposition from Clair, she likes her sister-in-law, who is driven by love for her brother.

    Despite being naturally gifted with magic, Delthea is not interested in training her abilities. She is bright and cheerful, though a bit of a selfish young girl.
