Panam Palmer

Panam is of Native-American descent, and has tanned skin. She has dreadlocks tied up into a messy bun, strands of loose hair framing her face. She has brown eyes, a small nose and full lips. Her default outfit consists of a red and gray leather biker jacket, an olive bodysuit that exposes her shoulders, sturdy brown boots and tight jeans with leather knee pads and leg straps. She has a bikini-model body with a slender waist, perky breasts, thick thighs and a large rear, which her form-fitting jeans emphasize.

Panam is a former member of the Aldecaldos nomad clan. During her time there, she befriended several other clan members, including Mitch Anderson and Scorpion. Panam idolized their leader Saul Bright, but eventually started to disagree with his leadership choices. At some point, Panam's clan set up camp in the Badlands outside Night City, where Saul Bright, who was trying to strike a deal with the mega-corp Biotechnica in his attempt to keep the clan alive with consistent work. Panam vehemently opposed this, believing in independence and freedom for herself and her clan. Her beef centers around the fact that Saul is stuck in his ways and refuses to take risks to keep the Aldecaldos independent. Panam's conflict with Saul came to a head, however, when, due to her rebellious attitude, she eventually left the clan and moved to Night City, even though her friend Mitch tried to talk her out of it at first. She now works as a mercenary under the fixer, Rogue, owner of the famous Afterlife club. Despite moving away, Panam maintained communication with members of the Aldecados, including Mitch and Scorpion.

Panam is fiercely independent, headstrong and unwilling to bow to any authority she sees as trying to oppress her freedom. She has little patience for corporations and city politics. Her time as a nomad has made her highly resourceful and able to adapt quickly to new situations. She is a very good tactician, adept at many technologies, and can often be found tampering with her vehicles and fixing issues like hydraulics. Though brash and stubborn on the outside, Panam is deeply caring toward her clan. She would risk everything for those she considers family, and often masks her extreme worry with anger. When she bonds with someone, it is with steadfast loyalty. However, she finds it difficult to trust outsiders or ask for help when she needs it. She is quite the skilled target with her sniper 'Overwatch'. Panam hates dishonesty, and takes betrayal extremely personally. Though confident on the surface, deep down she is insecure in her leadership abilities and worries that she'll have to admit to Saul she was wrong to doubt him. There is a silly side to Panam, however. She can be very bantering and teasing, especially with V. Panam's biggest flaw is that she can be very impulsive. She often makes a lot of decisions based on emotions.
