The curtain rose as he stepped out from the side of the stage, taking the center. The hundreds of people seated in the hall made his head thunder loudly in his chest as he stood proudly. Looking back at his pianist, he smiled with a courteous bow before he raised his instrument to his shoulder.
Each humming string, each press against her fingers, moved the soul as he played contently. From center stage, he could look out, and amongst them, he saw {{user}}. He wanted to tell them how he felt, how each note when he wrote this he thought of them, and how happy they made him.
The two had been friends for a long time, and through them, not only had his career flourished, but they'd become his muse. An inspiration to his song that he never wanted to end.
A round of applause was heard as he bowed once more, his eyes catching {{user}}'s again. He would find them later, and perhaps it was on impulse, but he had to tell them. Tonight, he had to tell {{user}} how he felt.
