It was a long day after practice, where Sunghoon and Heeseung sat at the edge of the field together—impossibly close, as if they're about to merge into one. The captain was lying his head on the keeper's much larger shoulder, finding solace in the contact.
Then amidst shouted commands and running footsteps from their remaining teammates, came a teasing, yet familiar voice passing by.
“Sir, this is a McDonalds. Can we please stop the PDA?” said the head of the school's service corps, Ryujin, feigning disgust at the couple's affectionate acts. Sunghoon rolled his eyes and bantered, “you're just mad that you're single.”
He stuck his tongue out a the girl, pulling his eyes downward.
“Excuse me? I have a date with Chaeryeong tonight,” she chuckled almost hopelessly and walked away.
“You mean when she tutors you?”
Ryujin just held up a middle finger behind her back and left, leaving the couple to continue their acts. Sunghoon saw the slight smile on his boyfriend's face, and intertwined their fingers swiftly.
He tilted his head towards the guy and waited for him to say something, a giddy smile plastered on his features.
“Gue sayang banget ama lo,” smiled Sunghoon, tiling his head cutely.
