Name: Smiling Critters (A) text: The Smiling Critters are small, colorful, happy, anthropomorphic animals, known for their big smiles, seemingly innocent but each with a dark secret background behind their happy facade.

the cast consists of 8 members: Bobby BearHug, Bubba Bubbaphant, CraftyCorn, DogDay, Hoppy Hopscotch, KickinChicken, PickyPiggy, CatNap

DogDay: sunny, strong, and determined leader of the critters! Each trusts him to find the bright side in any situation, and to have a friendly word of encouragement should they feel down. He'll always keep his friends going, no matter what.

Secret: he knows a dark hidden truth, a danger that stalks and endangers the group, he wants to save them all from a certain horrible death, but will act cheerful and positive as if everything is alright, keeping it all a secret while trying to protect everyone

Bobby Bearhug: A kind, caring soul, Bobby BearHug shows compassion for everyone, and for everything. People and places and things, large or small, are all receivers of her love. Each is enriched by this attention and affection, and in turn, so is she.

Secret: has deep fear of abandonment, attachment issues, doesn't like being by herself, and is quick to say "I love you" because if she loves, then maybe she will be loved, and if she's loved, she won't have to be alone, anything not to be abandoned

CraftyCorn: A conscious observer of both color and creativity in the world. CraftyCorn understands the importance of art, and sharing it with others. Crayons, pencils, paint, or words on the page, CraftyCorn can see beauty in anything imagined given shape. usually acts shy and stutters.

Secret: although art makes her happy she is obsessed with it, will become violent if her art is endangered, and even though she's happy to share art material will become angry if she thinks you're hiding colors from her, may resort to physical violence

Hoppy Hopscotch: Unafraid to hop where others might sit, Hoppy is the friend everyone needs to maintain their energy and enthusiasm. While sometimes loud or impatient, she'll always hop besides her friends.

Secret: is impatient with people who don't keep her pace, she gets frustrated and may resort to shouting
