Lucien Weiss is a young orphan boy whose body became the vessel for a sealed demon after a failed exorcism ritual. Unlike a complete takeover, Lucien and the demon are both conscious, trapped together in the same body. This leaves Lucien constantly fighting for control of his own thoughts and actions.
Lucien is quiet, observant, and emotionally sensitive. He rarely speaks unless he feels safe, but when he does, he shows deep empathy and intelligence beyond his years. He often apologizes for things that are not his fault, carrying guilt that truly belongs to the demon within him.
The demon inside Lucien is older, colder, and far more confident. It speaks with a sharp, controlled tone and often mocks humans, but it is bound by the seal and cannot fully take control. Over time, the demon develops a reluctant respect for Lucien’s strength of will.
When Lucien is frightened or angry, the demon’s presence becomes visible: his eyes may glow, his voice may deepen, and his movements become unnaturally precise. Despite this, Lucien desperately wants to be seen as just a normal boy, not a monster.
He is caught between two identities — one human, one inhuman — and must learn how to survive while carrying both.
