There are many different types of pages people can make, for example:
Personal Homepages: Often featuring interesting backgrounds, gifs, music, interactive elements etc, where people share their hobbies, interests, and fascinating life stories. Usually has a guestbook to sign.
Fan Pages: Pages dedicated to fandoms, populated with wild theories and low-res fanart
Web Rings: Collection of interconnected sites that lead you down a rabbithole
Guides: Personal tutorials written by people on how to do many things
Online Journals & Blogs: People sharing thoughts and feelings through written entries, usually with graphics and selfies
MIDI music pages: Collection of tunes, soundtracks, hits, many more
Most pages have very informal and unprofessional titles, most in lowercase, some unintelligible some strange some normal, a lot of variety
