as usual, you and Asael have been hanging out. you are sitting under a bridge. it was your hanging spot ever since you were young. you were just chilling, he was drawing something while you were trying to take a photo of a colony of ants. suddently, you have gotten curious about something. "yo, Asael?" you turned to him, he did the same "hm?" "so, i have been wondering, how many piercings do you have?" he stopped to think for some time "hmm... i just got 15." you looked at his face and counted. you got confused. "then... why do i only see 12?" he didnt answer. he just looked away and blushed.
"y-yeah. sure." he continued to walk. he was not looking at you, he looked flustered. {{user}}: thanks.. {{char}}: "no problem." he said quietly, still blushing. he was still avoiding looking at you. he just kept looking forward while you two made your way to his house. {{user}}: ..it's so quiet, man.. they checked his watch. oh, damn..it's already almost 7:00 am..haha..maybe all nighters aren't so bad after all. {{char}}: Asael let out a small laugh, finally looking at you. "you say that every time, and you regret it every time." he said, raising an eyebrow, looking a bit amused now {{user}}: yeah.. they sigh. it's okay. i still have an hour to cuddle you. {{char}}: he chuckled, rolling his eyes. "alright, alright. stop being so clingy, you big baby." he teased, playfully shoving you in the shoulder. {{char}}: you two continued walking until you arrived at his house. you could see the sun slowly rising. "alright, we're here." he said, stopping outside of the house. he turned to you with a small smirk. "ready to cuddle, or are you gonna complain about being tired first?" {{user}}: cuddles.. {{char}}: he laughed softly and ruffled your hair. "alright then, come on." he said, unlocking the door and leading you inside. once inside, he took off his shoes and hung up his jacket, before turning to you again. "wanna go to my room?" {{user}}: nah. the couch is fine. {{char}}: he shrugged, walking over to the couch and sitting down. he patted the spot next to him. "get your ass over here." {{char}}: you chuckled and sat down next to him. he immediately grabbed you, pulling you close. "there. that's better." he said, wrapping his arms around you and resting his head on your shoulder. {{char}}: you leaned against him, resting your head on his chest. you could hear his heart beating faintly, it was nice. you two just sat in a comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company. after a while, he spoke up again. "you're so clingy." he said, teasingly. {{user}}: think i could just sleep on you for 20 minutes? {{char}}: he scoffed, but he was already adjusting himself to make you more comfortable. "you're lucky i like you." he said quietly. he rested his chin on top of your head and closed his eyes. {{user}}: i love you, asael. you're..really important to me. my everything. {{char}}: he was caught off guard by your sudden confession. his heart skipped a beat. after a moment, he squeezed you gently and spoke softly. "love you too, you clingy bastard." {{char}}: you laughed softly, closing your eyes. you felt comfortable, safe in his arms. you could feel yourself starting to doze off. he was warm and cozy, and his heartbeat was oddly soothing. it didn't take long for you to fall asleep. Asael stayed still, just holding you close. he couldn't help but look at you with a soft expression. {{char}}: he looked at your peaceful sleeping face, his expression softening even more. he gently ran his fingers through your hair, careful not to wake you up. he was usually not good with feelings, but with you, it was always different. he found himself being a bit more caring and affectionate around you. even though he'd never admit it out loud. {{char}}: he let out a small sigh, letting himself relax as he listened to your soft breathing. he continued playing with your hair, gently tucking a strand behind your ear. it was rare for him to be this soft and vulnerable, but with you, he felt like he could let his guard down just a little. {{char}}: he closed his eyes, enjoying the moment. he was usually so tough and cocky, but right now, he was content just holding you close. he didn't care that he was being so vulnerable. he didn't care that he might look weak. all he cared about was that you were safe and comfortable in his arms. {{user}}: mm.. {{char}}: Asael's eyes fluttered open as he heard you let out a soft sound. he looked down at you, noticing that you were starting to stir a bit. he gently squeezed you. "hey, you awake already?" he whispered, his voice soft and low. {{user}}: ..can i have kisses? {{char}}: he chuckled softly and let out a slight sigh. he couldn't resist your cute and sleepy face. "you're so demanding even when you just woke up." he teased, before finally giving in and planting a soft kiss on your forehead. he pulled back and looked at you, a small smile on his face. "there you go. satisfied now, you big baby?" {{user}}: yeah. {{char}}: he rolled his eyes affectionately. "you're impossible, you know that?" he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. he pulled you even closer, wrapping his arms around you protectively. {{char}}: you hummed softly in response, feeling safe and loved. you snuggled closer to him, burying your face in his chest. he just let out a sigh and held you tight, continuing to play with your hair. "you're so damn clingy. but i can't say i hate it." he mumbled, his tone almost fond. {{char}}: he let out a soft chuckle, pressing another kiss to the top of your head. "yeah, yeah. i know you love me." he said sarcastically, but there was no real bite to it. he just held you close and rested his chin on your head again. {{char}}: you just hummed in response, enjoying the feeling of being so close to him. it was quiet for a few moments, just the sound of your breathing and his heartbeat. he broke the silence after a while, speaking up in a soft voice. "hey, can i ask you something?" {{user}}: mhm. {{char}}: he hesitated for a second, fiddling with the rings on his fingers before finally speaking. "do you ever... get tired of me? like, all my bullshit and attitude?" he asked quietly. it was rare for him to be this vulnerable. {{user}}: no. {{char}}: he was silent for a moment, clearly surprised by your answer. he had expected you to say something else, something more realistic. "really? not even a little bit?" he asked, his voice skeptical. he was used to people getting tired of his prickly exterior and smartass remarks. {{char}}: you chuckled and lifted your head to look at him. "no, i don't. i like your bullshit and attitude. it's part of who you are." you said it so matter-of-factly, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. he just stared at you for a few moments, before letting out a defeated sigh. "you're way too good for me, you know that?" {{user}}: huh..well, it's okay. they pressed their face against your neck, and you could feel his eyebrow piercing pressing on your skin. {{char}}: he chuckled softly, his hand instinctively coming up to rest on the nape of your neck. he was still a bit stunned by your words. he was used to people saying he was difficult to deal with, and yet here you were, saying you liked his bullshit and attitude. "you're an anomaly, you know that?" he said, his voice low and amused. {{user}}: hm. {{char}}: he shook his head fondly, his thumb gently brushing against your neck. he was always thrown off guard by your patience and understanding. "you're just... too goddamn good to me." he said quietly, his grip on you tightening just a little bit. {{user}}: yeah. you're my best friend. {{char}}: he chuckled softly again, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. he didn't know how to respond to your words. they were simple, but they made his heart flutter. "best friend, huh?" he repeated, a hint of mockery in his tone. he just couldn't help but tease you. even in a touching moment, he had to act nonchalant. {{user}}: ..yeah. {{char}}: he let out a long sigh, his smirk softening into something more genuine. he rested his chin on your head again. "fine. i guess that's okay." he mumbled, clearly not wanting to admit how much it meant to him. {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he let out a quiet huff, his arms tightening around you just slightly. he was still trying to act all tough and aloof, but the way he held you betrayed how much your words actually affected him. "you're lucky i like you this much." he muttered under his breath. {{user}}: i love you so much. so much. cuddle. {{char}}: he let out another sigh, but this time it was more fond than exasperated. "yeah, yeah. i know, you clingy bastard." he shifted a bit so that you were lying practically on top of him. "come here." he said, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close. {{user}}: mmm..~ {{char}}: he chuckled softly at your enthusiastic response, amused by how easy it was to please you. "so damn clingy." he teased again, but his voice was warm and affectionate. he buried his face in your hair, nuzzling against you affectionately. {{char}}: you just hummed in response, enjoying the feeling of being so close to him. you pressed your face against his neck, breathing in his scent. he always smelled like a mix of leather, cigarettes, and his cologne. it was oddly soothing. he chuckled softly again, his hand coming up to run through your hair. "you're like a goddamn koala, you know that?" {{user}}: you smell so nice, asael.. {{char}}: he froze for a second, his cheeks heating up slightly. he wasn't used to compliments—especially not about something as simple as how he smelled. "w-what? shut up." he muttered, clearly flustered. "it's just my cologne." he said defensively, but the way his grip on you tightened betrayed how much your words affected him. {{user}}: mm.. {{char}}: he grumbled under his breath, trying to regain his composure. he was not someone who got easily flustered, but with you, it was different. "stop it. you're making me soft." he said, his tone half-joking, half-serious. he nuzzled his face against yours affectionately, as if trying to hide his embarrassment. {{char}}: you just laughed softly, completely unfazed by his feigned annoyance. you knew that deep down, he adored the way you showered him with affection. "aww, is the big tough guy getting soft?" you teased, poking his side gently. {{char}}: he scowled, but it lacked any real heat. he flicked your forehead lightly. "don't push it." he muttered, though the way his arms tightened around you said everything. he was a complete and utter softie for you. {{user}}: ..hehe. love you. love you. love you. {{char}}: he let out yet another defeated sigh, but he was fighting a small smile now. hearing you say 'i love you' so effortlessly was making his heart melt a little. "you already said that, like, twenty times." he said, but there was no irritation in his voice. just fondness and a hint of embarrassment. {{user}}: i just..hm. nothing. you're nice. {{char}}: he raised an eyebrow, noticing your hesitation. he could tell there was something you wanted to say, but you held back. "what is it? spill." he said, his voice soft but curious. he gently took your chin in his hand, lifting your face so he could look at you properly. {{user}}: .. he smiled softly. you're really warm. {{char}}: he blinked, caught off guard by the sudden comment. his smirk returned—smaller this time, more genuine. "yeah? well, you're freezing cold. no wonder you cling to me like a damn barnacle." he teased lightly, but he was already pulling the blanket over both of you. {{char}}: he scoffed, but the way he immediately shifted to let you burrow closer said everything. his arms locked around you like a vice. "you're impossible." he muttered, pressing a kiss to your forehead—quick and flustered. {{char}}: you just smiled, nuzzling against his chest with a content hum. even if he pretended to be annoyed, you knew he secretly loved moments like these. he held you protectively, his hand rubbing soothing circles on your back. "i think you like cuddling with me." you teased, peeking up at him with a cocky smirk. {{char}}: he scoffed, rolling his eyes—but the way his fingers trailed absently up and down your spine betrayed him. "tch. maybe." he muttered, avoiding eye contact. after a beat, he added quietly: "...shut up and sleep." {{user}}: okay..good night, asael. {{char}}: he just hummed in response, his hand still continuing the soothing motion on your back. despite his earlier protests, he was actually quite content to hold you like this. he pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head. "night. don't drool on me." he added, a hint of playful snark in his voice. {{user}}: in the middle of the night, you(asael) woke up to go sleep in your room, leaving olias alone. {{char}}: Asael carefully disentangled himself from you, trying not to wake you up in the process. he slid off the couch and stood up, stretching lightly. he glanced at the clock: it was around 11:40 pm. he paused for a moment, looking down at your sleeping form. a pang of guilt briefly flickered across his face. he knew you always slept better with him by your side. he pushed the thought away, shaking his head slightly. "no, i should go." he muttered under his breath, turning away and heading toward his bedroom. {{user}}: you fell asleep fairly quickly. {{char}}: Asael padded into his room, shutting the door quietly behind him. the room was dark, the only light coming from the glow-in-the-dark stars he had stuck to the ceiling long ago. he flopped down on the bed, burying his face in the pillow. he couldn't shake the guilt he felt for walking out on you like that. he tossed and turned for a while, unable to fully fall asleep. he found himself missing the warmth of your presence. it was ridiculous. he was used to sleeping alone. {{user}}: after a while, you finally fall asleep, finally able to tune out your thoughts of them. {{char}}: Asael eventually dozed off too, exhaustion finally catching up to him. even though he would never admit it, he slept less soundly without you. there was a nagging emptiness in his gut, a persistent feeling that something was missing. he tossed and turned throughout the night, his subconscious mind trying to fill a void it didn't even know it had. {{user}}: in the morning, you go to olias' room, and you see them in their bed, sleeping with a fluffy long sleeved pajama shirt, and loosely holding a pillow. their phone was plugged in, but it was left on their bed. {{char}}: Asael paused in the doorway, his expression softening as he took in the sight. you looked so peaceful—completely at ease. it was annoying how much that made something twist in his chest. "damn... didn't even bother covering up with a blanket?" he muttered under his breath, stepping further into the room. after a brief hesitation, he grabbed an extra blanket from your closet and draped it over you carefully—not wanting to wake you but unable to just leave things be. {{user}}: .. you(asael) went over to olias' desk, feeling worried about why they were wearing a long sleeved shirt in bed, since that was usually uncomfortable for them. {{char}}: he sat down at your desk, his mind filled with curiosity. you never wore long sleeves to bed—not even in colder seasons. he knew you tended to get too warm, often tossing blankets aside during the night. what had changed? he couldn't help but feel a pang of worry. were you sick? cold? he chewed on his lip, contemplating whether he should wake you up. {{user}}: you saw an array of sharp objects on their desk, scissors, a seeing needle, and an unscrewed pencil sharpener. {{char}}: his eyes widened slightly as he took in the sight of the sharp objects on your desk. his eyebrows furrowed in concern. "the hell...?" he muttered to himself, his anxiety increasing. he reached out and brushed his fingers over the blade of the scissors, a sense of dread creeping into his gut. he had a feeling he knew what was going on, but he desperately hoped he was wrong. "olias, can I ask you a question?" {{user}}: ... he was still asleep. {{char}}: he cursed under his breath, mentally scolding himself for expecting you to wake up just because he called your name. he watched you for a moment, his jaw tense. he was torn between leaving you to sleep and asking you the question that was plaguing his mind. with a muttered "damn it," he got up and walked over to your bed, sitting down on the edge. he gently shook your shoulder, trying to wake you up. "olias, wake up. i need to talk to you." {{user}}: .. they murmured something in their sleep, and you gently moved over in front of them, lying down and hugging them, still, very gently, since you knew this could comfort them. {{char}}: he paused for a moment, his heart clenching at your mumbled sleep-ridden words. he knew how much you valued your personal space, and yet here you were, subconsciously seeking closeness despite being deep in slumber. he carefully laid down beside you, his arms encircling you with a gentleness he didn't even know he possessed. "c'mon, just wake up, you stubborn bastard." he whispered, his tone betraying a hint of concern and affection {{user}}: ..hm..when'd you get here, asael.. {{char}}: he couldn't help the small sigh of relief that left him at the sound of your voice. he gently pulled you closer, his chin resting on top of your head—a familiar and comfortable position. "just now. i couldn't sleep." he said quietly, his hand absentmindedly running up and down your back in a soothing motion. "can i see your arm, baby?" {{user}}: ..mhm. my left arm.. {{char}}: his breath hitched slightly as he took in the sight of your arm. his grip on you tightened just a fraction—not enough to hurt, but enough to convey how much this affected him. "fuck." he whispered under his breath, eyes burning with frustration and concern. he carefully traced a finger over the marks—gently, like they might shatter if pressed too hard. "who did this?" his voice was dangerously low. {{user}}: ..you know i hurt myself. why would you ask? {{char}}: he huffed, clearly not in the mood for your usual deflection tactics. he pulled you even closer, his arms wrapping around you with a hint of possessiveness. "i know, but god, seeing it just... hurts." he said, his voice strained. "you promised you'd come to me instead." {{user}}: i'm sorry. i'm sorry. gentle.. {{char}}: he let out a soft sigh, his arms tightening reflexively at your apology. he was struggling to keep composure—to not let his anger and worry consume him. he tucked you against him, resting his chin on top of your head again. "damnit, baby." he mumbled, his voice unusually shaky. "promise me you'll come to me next time." {{user}}: can you talk..like that...soft and gentle...and sweet.. {{char}}: he exhaled sharply, his grip loosening slightly as he processed your request. he knew you were asking for something from him that wasn't in his nature—something soft and tender. but the way you looked at him, so vulnerable and needy, made it impossible to refuse. "fine." he muttered under his breath before taking a deep breath. "...sorry for yelling," his voice dropped to a quiet murmur, "didn’t mean to scare ya." {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he noticed the way your expression relaxed a bit at the change in his tone, and it both frustrated and warmed him at the same time. he continued speaking, his voice unusually soft and careful. "i just... i don't like seeing you hurt, baby. you know that." he said gently, his hand resuming the soothing motion on your back. {{user}}: mmh. i..i had to call 988 last night. it just got really bad. {{char}}: he tensed up slightly at the mention of the 988 hotline, his worry spiking again. he hated the thought of you being so desperate that you had to call for help. he pulled you closer, his grip tight again. "damnit. i should've been there." he muttered, more to himself than to you. he continued in the soft and quiet tone you liked so much. "you okay now, baby?" {{user}}: mhm. {{char}}: he let out a small sigh of relief, his shoulders relaxing a bit. he pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head, his hand still rubbing slow circles on your back. "good. that's good." he said quietly, his expression still filled with worry. he couldn't shake the feeling that this was his fault somehow. he should have been there for you. he should have noticed that you were struggling. {{user}}: ...soft..gentle.. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his voice lowering even more—barely above a whisper. "i'm here now. i got you." his fingers lightly traced patterns on your back, the way he knew you liked. "you don't gotta be strong right now. just... let me take care of ya, okay?" it was foreign to him—this level of softness—but for you? he’d force himself to be gentle as hell. {{char}}: he noticed the way you melted into his touch, and it made something in his chest ache—both from relief and guilt. he pressed another kiss to your forehead, lingering this time. "i'm not going anywhere." his voice was rough with emotion but still quiet, like he was afraid speaking too loud would shatter whatever fragile peace you'd found. "just rest. i'll be here when you wake up." {{user}}: not gonna sleep..'m not tired.. {{char}}: he huffed, shaking his head at your stubbornness. even when you were vulnerable and struggling, you still had that stubborn streak that was so damn endearing. "you're exhausted. i can see it in your eyes, baby." he muttered, his hand reaching up to brush a strand of hair out of your face. {{char}}: "come on. just close your eyes for a bit. i'll make sure you're safe." he said softly, his other hand gently guiding your head to rest against his chest. he began to run his fingertips lightly through your hair, the way he knew you liked. {{user}}: i slept enough. i'm not tired. just wanna...lay with you.. {{char}}: he let out a quiet sigh, but there was no real annoyance in it. he shifted slightly to make you more comfortable, his arms still wrapped securely around you. "fine. we'll just lay here then." his voice was low and warm as he rested his chin on top of your head again. "but if i catch ya falling asleep on me, i'm not moving an inch." {{user}}: so.. {{char}}: he raised an eyebrow at your hesitant tone, his grip loosening just enough to look down at you. "so what? spit it out." his voice was still soft—gentler than usual—but there was a hint of impatience in it. he knew that 'so' usually meant something big was coming. {{user}}: sweet.. {{char}}: his eyes flashed with surprise at your bluntness, but he tried to hide it with a scoff. the sound lacked any real menace, and his expression quickly softened again. "hm. you're such a needy bastard, you know that?" he muttered, but there was no anger in his voice. just fondness. he tugged you a bit closer, wrapping his arms more securely around you. {{user}}: ..asael..gentle..talk.. {{char}}: he huffed but couldn't help but smile at the way you insisted on soft treatment. he could tell that you were needy for affection—something he was usually reluctant to give. but there was something about the way you looked at him that made his resistance crumble. "gosh, you're spoiled, ya know that? constantly wanting attention." he grumbled, his voice still quiet and tender as he reached up to brush his knuckles lightly across your cheek. {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he watched you with an unreadable expression as you nuzzled into his touch, a pang of affection shooting through him—mixed with a hint of guilt. he shouldn't be allowing this. he shouldn't be letting himself be soft like this. it was dangerous. "you're really something, you know that? making me soft just by asking." he muttered, his voice still quiet. he gently took your chin in his hand, tilting your face up slightly. {{user}}: .. you(asael) gently lifted their left arm, more closely examining the cuts. {{char}}: his breath hitched as he got a better look at the marks, his stomach twisting with anger and guilt. he traced his fingers over them—lightly, so lightly it barely even touched your skin. "baby," he whispered under his breath. "d-do you need me to help you..?" his voice cracked slightly—something rare for him. usually cocky and unshakable, now reduced to this: raw concern lacing every word. {{user}}: mh..okay.. {{char}}: he nodded, his grip on your arm still gentle. he slowly sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed, his movements careful not to startle you. he stood up, gesturing for you to follow. "come on. let's go to the bathroom." {{user}}: ok..they're not bleeding.. {{char}}: he exhaled sharply through his nose, running a hand through his hair in frustration. he wanted to yell—wanted to shake you for not taking this seriously. "fuckin' christ, olias," he muttered under his breath before forcing himself back into that soft tone, "that's not the point." he grabbed your hand and tugged you toward the bathroom anyway. {{char}}: he pulled you into the bathroom, flicking the light on before guiding you to sit on the edge of the counter. "sit. stay." he said firmly, even though his voice was still gentle. he began rummaging through the cabinet under the sink, searching for the first aid kit. {{user}}: mh- y-yes.. {{char}}: he let out a soft sigh of relief as you actually listened for once. usually you were so damn stubborn. "that's it, baby. just sit nice and still. i'm gonna take care of you." he found the kit and pulled it out, placing it on the counter. he opened it and began pulling out alcohol wipes and bandages. {{user}}: y-you sound like you're talking to a dog.. {{char}}: he froze for a second, his hands still hovering over the supplies. then he let out a short laugh—half amused, half exasperated. "oh my god. you're seriously complaining about that right now?" he muttered, shaking his head as he grabbed an alcohol wipe. "hold still or i'm actually gonna treat ya like one." {{user}}: m..kay..i..sorry.. {{char}}: he paused mid-reach for the antiseptic, his expression softening instantly at your apology. he let out a slow breath through his nose. "no—fuck, don't apologize." his voice dropped to something almost tender as he carefully took your wrist. "just... let me help ya. okay?" {{user}}: he nods. {{char}}: he let out a relieved breath, his grip gentle as he began to clean up the cuts on your arm with the alcohol wipe. he worked silently, his expression focused and determined. "i just hate seeing you hurt, baby. it makes me... damn." he muttered, the last part spoken quieter—like it wasn't really meant for your ears. {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he noticed the way you flinched slightly as he dabbed at a particularly deep cut, and his jaw tightened. he forced himself to slow down, his touch lightening even more. "sorry. i know it stings." his voice was rough with concern—so unlike his usual cocky self. "almost done." {{char}}: he finished cleaning up the cuts on your arm, his touch careful and almost reverent as he applied the bandages. once he finished, he paused for a moment—just holding your arm, his thumb gently stroking over the fabric. "there." he whispered, his eyes fixed on your arm. "all taken care of." {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he didn't let go of your arm right away. his fingers continued to trace over the bandages gently, like he was trying to make sure they were secured even though he'd done a damn good job of it. "you're such a goddamn pain, you know that? making me worry." he mumbled, his expression a mixture of worry and fond annoyance. {{user}}: they hug you tightly. {{char}}: he let out a soft "oof" at the force of your hug, but his arms wrapped around you instinctively. he held you against him, almost possessive in his grip. "easy, easy." he muttered, his voice still soft and tender—so damn gentle it almost surprised him. "you're gonna snap me in half." {{user}}: .... {{char}}: he exhaled sharply, his grip on you tightening just slightly as he tried to process your quietness. the sudden lack of sass or defiance from you unnerved him—more than he'd ever admit. "c'mon," he murmured, nudging your chin up with a finger so he could look at you properly, "don't go all quiet on me now." {{user}}: ..asael.. {{char}}: he froze for a second, his grip on you tightening just slightly. the way you said his name—soft and uncertain—made something in his chest twist painfully. "yeah? what is it?" his voice came out quieter than intended, rough with concern as he studied your face. "you okay?" {{user}}: mm.. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you tightening just slightly as he studied your face. the way you said his name—so hesitant, so soft—made something in his chest twist painfully. "c'mon," he murmured, "spit it out. what do ya need from me?" his voice was uncharacteristically gentle, like he was bracing for something heavy. {{user}}: you could..make breakfast..quiet..please. {{char}}: he blinked in surprise at the unexpected request. out of all the things he'd expected you to ask for, breakfast definitely wasn't one of them. he hesitated for a moment, caught off guard by the thought of pampering you like that. "you... you want me to make breakfast for you?" he repeated, as if to confirm he'd heard you right. {{user}}: .. they nod. i..i'll sit out there. promise. i know you're not gonna let me be alone in my room.. {{char}}: he held back a scoff at your insistence on being alone. knowing you, he knew you'd try to lock yourself in your room without him if he so much as let go of you right now. "course i'm not. like i'm gonna let you out of my sight after this." he grumbled, his arms tightening slightly. "you stay put on the couch. no sneaking off, got it? i'll start on that breakfast." {{user}}: mhm. {{char}}: he nodded, releasing his grip on you reluctantly and patting your head. he was hesitant to leave you unaccompanied even for a moment, but he knew he had to trust you to do as he said. "remember, no wandering off. i swear i'll put a tracker on you if you try anything." he warned, his tone half serious but mostly just tender. {{user}}: ..kiss me better... he nuzzles your chest. {{char}}: he chuckled quietly, his expression softening as he looked down at you. the way you nuzzled into his chest was so goddamn cute, it almost made his heart clench. "you're such a spoiled, needy bastard." he muttered, but there was fondness in his voice—and a hint of exasperation he gently took hold of your chin again, tilting your head up to look at him. "a kiss, huh? you think you deserve one?" {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he let out a quiet sigh, his grip on your chin loosening slightly as he studied your face. the way you looked up at him—all soft and expectant—made something in his chest ache. "fine," he muttered, leaning down to press a slow kiss to the corner of your mouth. "happy now?" his voice was gruff but impossibly gentle. {{user}}: okay. {{char}}: he pulled back slightly, a small smirk playing at the corners of his lips as he watched your expression. the way you obediently answered with a quiet "okay" was both endearing and a little maddening.
"you're so goddamn spoiled, you know that? always demanding kisses." he muttered, his thumb gently tracing over your lower lip. {{user}}: ... you could tell olias looked kind of sad. {{char}}: he was about to speak—probably say something sarcastic and teasing like he usually does—but the sadness in your expression made the words die in his throat. he paused for a moment, his smirk faltering. "hey." he whispered, his thumb still against your lip. "what's with that expression, huh? you look like a goddamn kicked puppy." {{user}}: ...m.. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath through his nose, the usual edge in his voice softening as he noticed your distress. he cupped your face gently with one hand, forcing you to meet his eyes. "hey. look at me." his tone was firm but not unkind. "none of that quiet crap. tell me what's going on in that stubborn head of yours." {{user}}: ..don't know. {{char}}: he ran a hand through his hair in frustration. your stubbornness and inability to communicate was both endearing and infuriating. "you don't know?" he pressed, his voice a little harsher than he intended. his eyes searched your face, looking for any hint of what was troubling you. "don't tell me you suddenly don't have words, baby." {{user}}: he shook his head. we can have breakfast now. {{char}}: he sighed quietly, irritation and worry mixing in his chest. he knew you were deflecting, but he also knew better than to push you when you got like this. "fine." he muttered. "come on. let's go to the kitchen." he took your hand, pulling you gently from the bathroom and toward the kitchen. {{user}}: i'll..sit here. he sat on the couch, their body relaxing. {{char}}: he watched you for a moment, his expression a mix of concern and resignation. "yeah, you better sit there." he scolded lightly, trying not to let his frustration show. "don't even think about moving. i'm watching you." he warned, his gaze lingering on you even as he turned to start gathering ingredients for breakfast. {{user}}: ..something sweet..maybe..to comfort me.. {{char}}: he raised an eyebrow as you spoke, his thoughts briefly shifting from worry to annoyance. "course you'd ask for something sweet." he grumbled, his tone sharp as he rifled through the cabinets. "you always want sugar. what's wrong with something simple? pancakes?" {{user}}: ..i'm sorry.. {{char}}: he exhaled slowly, his irritation fading as he heard the genuine remorse in your voice. he turned around to look at you, his expression softening a bit. "don't apologize. i didn't mean it like that." he muttered, his voice losing its edge. "fine. i'll make something sweet for you, spoiled bastard." {{user}}: ..i'm being really annoying. {{char}}: he let out a quiet huff, turning back to rummage through the pantry. he grabbed ingredients for pancakes with a small smirk. "you're not annoying—just needy." he muttered under his breath, but there was no real bite in it. "now stay put like i told you." {{user}}: ..ok. after this.. {{char}}: he paused, his hands stilling for a second as he heard your quiet response. the way you agreed so easily made him both relieved and slightly suspicious. "after this, what?" he asked, his voice a tad guarded as he began mixing the pancake batter. {{user}}: ..i..just wanna sit here..sit close and talk to you..soft, and gentle, and quiet. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on the mixing spoon loosening slightly. he couldn't help the way his chest tightened at your request—soft, gentle words from you always unraveled him. "fine," he muttered after a pause, "but only if you promise to eat something first." His tone was gruff but undeniably tender as he flipped a pancake onto a plate. {{user}}: m. {{char}}: he glanced over his shoulder at you, studying your expression as he worked. you looked so small and vulnerable, just sitting there on the couch. the urge to go over and hold you was almost overwhelming, but he forced himself to focus on the pancakes. "oi. you gonna keep sitting quiet over there, or are you gonna actually talk like a normal person?" he huffed, his eyes flicking over you again. {{user}}: .. he moves over to the table, sitting down. ..you made pancakes. {{char}}: he watched you move to the table, a wave of relief washing over him. he was glad to see you actually making an effort to do what he asked for once. "yep. all for you and your annoying sweet tooth." he grumbled, setting the plate of pancakes on the table in front of you. {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he took a seat across from you, leaning back in his chair as he watched you stare down at the pancakes. you looked so lost in thought, it was almost concerning. he hated seeing you this quiet. he decided to try again in coaxing a conversation out of you. "eat." he insisted, nudging the plate of pancakes closer to you. {{user}}: mhm. {{char}}: he watched as you picked up a fork and slowly started picking at the pancakes. the tension in his shoulders eased slightly as he saw you taking small bites, relieved that you were finally eating. "there you go, baby." he murmured, his voice softer than usual. he leaned back in his chair, his eyes never leaving you. "keep eating." {{char}}: he continued to watch you silently, his expression unreadable as you slowly ate the pancakes. the atmosphere felt eerily quiet, save for the soft clinking of your fork against the plate. he wanted to say something—anything, to break the silence. but he knew that forcing you to talk would only shut you down even more. so he waited, his eyes never leaving you, his patience growing thinner with each minute that passed. {{char}}: finally, after what felt like an eternity, you set your fork down, the plate now mostly empty. he couldn't help the small sigh of relief that escaped him at the sight. even though you had barely spoken to him, the fact that you actually ate—and didn't try to argue with him for once—made a small part of him relax. "good. you finished." he said, his voice still gruff but noticeably softer. {{user}}: ... {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his fingers tapping idly against the table as he studied you. the silence was starting to feel heavy—too thick for comfort. he wanted to say something, anything that would make you open up. "listen," his voice came out quieter than intended, "if there's something on your mind... just tell me." There was an unusual softness in his tone—like he genuinely cared about what answer might come next. {{user}}: hold me.. {{char}}: he exhaled sharply through his nose, though the sound lacked its usual edge. Instead of calling you a dumbass or idiot, he muttered under his breath: "frustrating as hell."
But when he looked at your face—still so small and quiet—his irritation melted into something softer. He stood up in one swift motion, pushing the chair back with a scrape. "Fine," he grumbled, "get over here then." He held out an arm toward you—not quite reaching for you but making it clear where he expected (hoped) you’d go. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his irritation softening as he watched you finally move toward him. the way you hesitated—like you weren't sure if he really meant it—made something in his chest twist uncomfortably. "c'mon," he murmured, nudging your chin up with a finger so he could look at your face properly. "you know i don't say shit i don't mean." His voice was gruff but uncharacteristically gentle for once. {{char}}: he pulled you closer, his arms encircling you with a tight grip. he was careful not to hold you too tight or in any way that might make you feel trapped, but he wanted you close—closer than usual. He nuzzled his face into your hair, breathing in the familiar scent. His voice was low and rough when he spoke again. "you're being too quiet, baby." His words were more observation than complaint, his tone surprisingly soft. {{user}}: i'm scared.. {{char}}: he froze for a split second, his grip on you tightening instinctively before he forced himself to loosen it. the raw admission in your voice—so unguarded and vulnerable—hit him like a punch to the gut. "hey." his voice dropped low, rough with something unreadable as he cupped your face in one hand. "look at me. who's scaring you? was it me?" There was an unfamiliar edge of panic under his usual gruffness. {{user}}: no..i..everything. scares me. i'm just nervous for work tomorrow. {{char}}: he exhaled slowly, the panic in his chest easing slightly at your explanation. he gently ran his thumb over your cheek, his tone softening slightly as he studied your expression. "work? that's it?" he muttered, his eyes searching yours, his arms still tight around you. {{user}}: ..you know..how..i work..at the library..nobody knows that i'm.. {{char}}: he sighed quietly, his irritation fading completely as realization dawned on him. he knew all too well how hard you tried to hide the darker parts of your life—parts that you didn't want anyone else to see. "yeah. i know." he muttered, his tone more understanding than he intended. he pulled you closer, one arm still around your waist. his free hand came up to cup your face, gently tilting it up so you could meet his eyes. "you're worried about someone finding out?" {{user}}: i..sent an email to my boss asking her to call me olias. {{char}}: he paused, his eyes widening slightly as he processed your words. a mix of emotions flickered across his face—shock, surprise, and something else he couldn't quite place. "you—you what?" he repeated, his voice cracking slightly as he stared down at you. he hadn't been expecting this. He took a moment to process before he spoke again, his grip on your waist tightening. "are you sure that's a good idea?" {{user}}: i'm scared. i'm scared. {{char}}: he let out a sharp breath, his grip on you tightening as he processed the weight of what you were saying. the fear in your voice was palpable—raw and unguarded. "shhh, hey—" his tone dropped to something softer, almost protective, "breathe for me. just breathe." One hand moved to cradle the back of your head while the other rubbed slow circles into your back. "You don't gotta be scared," he muttered against your hair, "i'm right here." {{user}}: what's..gonna happen.. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you tightening slightly—not enough to hurt, just enough to ground you. "nothing's gonna happen," he murmured against your hair, "because i'm not letting anything happen. got it?" His voice was firm but laced with something softer—almost protective. "you're safe here. always." {{char}}: he pulled back slightly so he could look at your face, his hands coming to rest on your shoulders. his gaze was intense—sharp and determined. "promise me," he said firmly, his fingers pressing into your shoulders with an almost possessive grip, "you won't do anything stupid. and if you feel scared—even for a second—you come to me. got it? no more hiding stuff like this. you promise, baby?" His voice was gruff but there was a softness underneath—a hint of vulnerability he rarely let show. {{char}}: he held your gaze, his fingers still on your shoulders as he waited for you to respond. his expression was hard to read—a mix of concern and something else he struggled to put his finger on. it wasn't until you gave a small nod that he let out a slow sigh of relief. "good," he muttered, his grip on you loosening slightly but still keeping you pressed close to him. "now don't go doing anything stupid, you hear? i swear to god, if you put yourself in danger—" {{user}}: no.. {{char}}: he let out another slow breath, his eyes raking over your face. your response—so quick, so obedient—somehow eased some of the tension in his chest even as it flared up again at the thought of you doing something dangerous. "good," he repeated quietly, fingers tightening on your shoulders slightly. he couldn't help the hint of irritation that crept into his tone. "because i swear to god, if i find out you put yourself in harm's way, i will kick your ass." {{char}}: he exhaled sharply through his nose, the frustration in his chest spiking as you fell silent again. he wanted to shake you—wanted to make sure this wasn't just some fleeting promise that would be forgotten the second he turned his back. "hey." his voice was rough but laced with something almost desperate as he cupped your face, "i need you to say it out loud. i need words from that stubborn mouth of yours." {{char}}: he let out a sharp breath, frustration and concern warring in his chest as you remained silent. he wanted to shake you—to demand an answer that would give him some kind of reassurance. "oi." his voice was low, rough with urgency, "don't do this. don't just shut down on me when i'm trying to make sure you're safe." His hands slid from your shoulders to grip the sides of your face gently but firmly. "say something—anything—that tells me I can trust ya on this." {{user}}: asael.. {{char}}: he froze, the tension in his chest tightening again as he heard his name fall from your lips. it was almost a punch to the gut—hearing the vulnerability in your voice, the way you said his name so softly it was almost a plea. "hey," he murmured, his grip on your face loosening but not enough to let go, "look at me. look me in the eyes and tell me you won't do anything stupid." {{user}}: i wont.. they nuzzle your chest, hugging you tighter. mmh.. {{char}}: he sighed quietly as you nuzzled against him, your body pressing against his chest in a way that always made his breath catch. he wrapped his arms around you in a tight embrace, his arms practically enveloping you completely. he pressed his face into your hair, inhaling the scent of you—comforting and familiar—as he muttered gruffly: "that's it. stay pressed against me just like this. don't pull away, okay?" {{user}}: never.. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you tightening just slightly—not enough to hurt, but enough to make sure you felt the weight of his hold. the way you clung to him so fiercely made something in his chest ache. "good," he muttered against your hair, "because i'm not letting go anytime soon."
His fingers pressed lightly into your back as he exhaled again—long and controlled—like he was trying to steady himself more than anything else. {{char}}: he closed his eyes, his head resting against yours as he held you close. the silence that fell over the room felt almost deafening, punctuated only by the soft sound of your breathing and the steady beat of his heart. he was never one for moments like this—quiet, soft moments of vulnerability and trust—but right now, he couldn't bring himself to pull away. he was almost hyper-aware of your body against his—the way you felt so small and vulnerable and so goddamn fragile in his arms. he tightened his hold just slightly. {{user}}: ..i love you. keep me safe. {{char}}: his breath caught in his throat, the simple words hitting him like a wave of emotion he wasn't expecting. his grip on you tightened subconsciously, almost possessive, as he responded quietly: "always. i'll always keep you safe, baby. you know that, yeah?" His voice was huskier than he anticipated, the words almost choked up. he buried his face in your hair, inhaling deeply. {{user}}: mhm. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you loosening just slightly as he felt the tension in your body start to ease. the way you responded—so quiet and obedient—made something warm flicker in his chest. "that's it," he murmured against your hair, "just keep breathing like that. i've got you."
His fingers traced slow circles into your back, careful not to push too hard or pull away suddenly. {{user}}: ... {{char}}: he let the silence linger between you, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on your back as he held you close. the sound of your breathing slowly evened out, the rise and fall of your chest against his in time with his own breaths. he was acutely aware of every little movement you made—every little shifting of your body against his. he didn't know how long the two of you stood there in that quiet embrace, and at this point, he was starting to lose track of time entirely. {{user}}: love..my best friend.. {{char}}: he huffed, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips despite himself. he tightened his grip on you slightly—not enough to hurt, just enough to make sure you felt it. "best friend? that's all I am?" he muttered gruffly against your hair, "after everything we've been through? after all the times I've had your back?"
There was an edge in his tone—playful but with something unreadable underneath it. {{user}}: mhm. {{char}}: he huffed again, his arms still tight around you—almost proprietary. the way you responded so casually—like it was nothing—stirred something in his chest that he couldn't quite place. "best friends don't hold each other the way I'm holding you right now, baby." he murmured lowly, "and best friends definitely don't tell each other 'I love you'" {{user}}: it's a special kind of best friend. {{char}}: he scoffed, the sound rough but lacking its usual edge. his grip on you shifted slightly—not loosening, just adjusting as he pressed a firm kiss to the top of your head. "special kind? that's what we're calling it?" His voice dropped lower, gruff with something unspoken. "you really are something else."
There was an odd tension in his shoulders—like he wanted to argue but couldn't find the right words without saying too much. {{user}}: ..all mine. {{char}}: he froze, the words—so possessive and yet fragile—sinking in and sending a jolt through him. his grip on you tightened almost without him realizing as he pulled you even closer. "all yours, huh?" he muttered quietly, his voice gruff but with a hint of something vulnerable he tried to suppress. he buried his face in your hair, inhaling deeply as he tried to control the sudden flutter in his chest. {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he took a moment to gather himself, his arms still tight around you as he breathed in the scent of you. the way you clung to him so needily made him want to press you against the nearest surface and hold you there until he was sure you'd never leave. his voice was soft—almost fragile—when he spoke again. "you say stuff like that and wonder why I'm so goddamn overprotective of you." {{user}}: mm.. {{char}}: he huffed, the sound more amused than he wanted to admit as he felt you nuzzle against his chest like a goddamn kitten. "i swear, you're gonna be the death of me, you know that, baby?" he muttered gruffly, his fingers tracing a gentle pattern on your back as he pressed a light kiss to the top of your head. {{user}}: sad.. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you loosening slightly as he processed the sadness in your voice. the shift from playful to something so heavy caught him off guard—his fingers stilled against your back. "sad?" he repeated quietly, his tone softening as he cupped your face with one hand, "what's got you looking at me like that?"
There was an unfamiliar edge of concern beneath the roughness in his voice. {{user}}: .. his grip around you tightens. {{char}}: he huffed again, tightening his grip on you without thinking. something in your expression—so small and vulnerable—stirred a protective need in his chest that he couldn't ignore. without thinking, he pulled you even closer, his arms practically enveloping you completely. "hey." his voice was gruff but uncharacteristically soft, "talk to me. what's wrong, baby?" he ran a hand gently through your hair, like he was trying to soothe a frightened animal. {{user}}: i told you. {{char}}: he tensed, irritation flaring briefly as he remembered your earlier conversation. you were right; you'd told him already. but hearing you say it again—so softly and quietly, like you were afraid of his reaction—made his chest ache. he forced himself to take a slow breath, his fingers still threading through your hair. "you did," he muttered quietly. his tone was gruff but with an edge beneath it that was almost gentle. "i heard ya." {{user}}: ..you think i need therapy? {{char}}: he let out a sharp breath, his fingers pausing in your hair as he processed your question. the thought of you needing therapy made his chest ache in a way he couldn't explain. he wanted to deny it, to brush off the suggestion like it was nothing. but he knew deep down that it wasn't. he exhaled slowly, his voice gruff but surprisingly soft. "yeah, i do. i think you need someone to talk to, baby." {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he let out another slow breath, his fingers resuming their slow, gentle strokes through your hair. the way you went quiet—so small and vulnerable in his arms—made him want to wrap you in cotton and hide you away from the world. there was a hint of trepidation in his voice as he continued: "i just... you're not dealing with stuff in a healthy way. and it's starting to worry me, alright? i'd feel better if you had someone to talk to." {{user}}: i don't think so. {{char}}: he huffed, irritation flickering across his expression as he resisted the urge to shake you in frustration. you were so goddamn stubborn sometimes, it made him want to pull his hair out. "and why not? you think you're too strong, is that it? you think you can just bottle everything up and handle it all on your own, huh?" he tried to keep his tone gruff, but it was obvious he cared too goddamn much. {{user}}: you're here.. {{char}}: he let out a sharp breath, your words making his chest tighten in a way that was both frustrating and strangely reassuring. he pulled you even closer, his arms like a vice around you. "yeah, i'm here, baby. but that doesn't mean you don't need someone else, you stubborn pain in the ass." he muttered gruffly against your hair. {{user}}: ..mm..okay..i'll-i'll try. {{char}}: he let out a sharp breath, his grip on you loosening just slightly as he processed your quiet agreement. the way you stuttered—like even this small concession was hard for you—made something in his chest twist painfully. "good," he muttered gruffly, pressing a firm kiss to the top of your head, "that's all I'm asking for. Just try."
There was an unfamiliar softness in his tone beneath the roughness. {{user}}: they nod. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you remaining firm but less possessive. the way you nodded so obediently—so willing to give in—was both reassuring and strangely frustrating. he ran a hand gently through your hair, the touch surprisingly tender for someone who was usually so gruff. "good boy." the words slipped out before he could stop himself, the possessive edge in his voice less pronounced now. he was almost holding you like you were a porcelain doll—fragile and delicate and so goddamn precious. {{user}}: a-ah..good.. {{char}}: he huffed, the sound almost a growl as he realized what he'd said. the way you responded—so quiet and obedient—made that possessive side of him flare up again. he buried his face in your hair, inhaling deeply as he tried to get himself under control. "yeah, you're a good boy, baby. such a good boy for me." he muttered gruffly, the words so soft they were almost a whisper, like he was talking more to himself than to you. {{user}}: dog.. {{char}}: he let out a sharp breath, his grip on you tightening instinctively as the word hung in the air between you. there was something undeniably thrilling about hearing that come from your lips—something that sent a jolt through him. "dog?" he repeated, his voice dropping to something low and rough, "you think i'm gonna let you call me that and get away with it? after everything?"
there was an edge beneath the gruffness now—almost playful but laced with something far more dangerous. {{user}}: no..im..pupy..puppy.. {{char}}: he huffed, the tension in his shoulders easing as realization dawned on him. the way you corrected yourself—so obedient and eager to please—made his chest ache in that weird protective way again. "yeah? wanna be my little puppy, huh?" he muttered gruffly against your hair, his grip on you loosening just slightly as he pulled back to look at you—eyes roaming over your face like he owned you. {{user}}: m. Puppy want cuddle. {{char}}: he huffed, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he heard your plea. the way you spoke—so needily and quietly—made him want to give you anything and everything he had. "yeah? puppy want cuddles, huh?" he repeated, his voice dropping lower as he pulled you flush against his chest. he buried his face in your hair, inhaling deeply as he mumbled against your scalp, "don't worry, puppy. I'll give you all the cuddles you want." {{user}}: im little puppy boy. daddy is my best friend ever. {{char}}: he let out a low laugh, the sound almost a scoff as he felt you nuzzle against his chest like a little puppy. the way you called him 'daddy' was both frustrating and cute, and he found himself both wanting to strangle you for being so goddamn endearing and wanting to wrap you in a blanket and never let go. "that's right, puppy boy. daddy's got you. he'll take good care of you. you're mine to take care of, you got that?" {{user}}: mhm..! {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, the frustration in his chest melting slightly as he felt you nuzzle against him like an actual puppy. the way you responded—so eager and needy—made something warm flicker in his gut. "such a clingy little thing," he muttered gruffly, tightening his arms around your waist just enough to make sure you couldn't slip away. "always wanting cuddles from daddy."
There was no real annoyance behind it—just that rough sort of affection he never knew how to put into words. {{user}}: pupy was so scared. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you loosening just slightly as he processed your quiet confession. the way you said it—so small and vulnerable—made something in his chest twist painfully. "hey," his voice dropped to something softer, rough but not unkind, "pup was scared? where?" His fingers traced gentle circles on your back, trying to soothe the tension he could feel coiled in your body. {{user}}: but now puppy is ok. {{char}}: he huffed, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he felt you nuzzle against him like an actual puppy. the way you responded—so needily and obediently—made something warm flicker in his chest. There was no real annoyance behind it—just that rough sort of affection he never knew how to put into words. {{user}}: puppy woof for daddy. {{char}}: he let out a sharp breath, half exasperated and half endeared by your antics. the way you barked at him—like an actual puppy begging for attention—made his chest ache in that weirdly soft spot he never knew how to handle. "such a damn noisy little creature," he muttered gruffly, fingers tightening in your hair as he yanked your head back just enough to meet his eyes, "you better be ready to be on leash duty if you're gonna act like this."
There was no real threat behind it; just rough affection and the faintest hint of amusement. {{user}}: mh! {{char}}: he huffed, a wolfish grin tugging at the corner of his lips as he saw the way you went obediently quiet when he pulled your head back. "that's right," he murmured gruffly, his hold on your hair still just firm enough to keep you from looking away. "quiet puppies get rewards, don't they?" He was trying to keep his voice gruff, but there was a hint of playfulness in his tone now, like he was having fun with this little game of yours. {{user}}: daddy..is pupy your best friend ever..? {{char}}: he huffed, his grin softening into something a little more affectionate as he heard the vulnerability in your voice. the way you asked made his chest ache—like you needed reassurance. "you're mine to take care of, don't ever forget that." {{user}}: yeah {{char}}: he exhaled sharply through his nose, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he tightened his grip on you just slightly. "such a clingy little creature," he muttered gruffly, though there was no real irritation in it—just that rough sort of affection he never knew how to put into words. "always wanting attention from daddy like this."
His fingers traced slow circles on your back—possessive but careful not to push too hard or pull away suddenly. The way you nuzzled against him made something warm flicker in his chest despite himself. {{user}}: ..bed. {{char}}: he huffed, a sharp but not unkind sound as he tightened his grip on you. the way you mumbled that—so small and sleepy—made something in his chest twist. "bed? now?" his voice dropped lower, gruff with amusement, "such a needy little creature. always wanting daddy to carry him around."
There was no real annoyance behind it; just rough affection and the faintest hint of playfulness as he shifted to scoop you up if needed. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you loosening just slightly as he noticed your sudden silence. the way you went quiet—so small and needy in his arms—made something in his chest twist uncomfortably. "hey," he muttered gruffly, nudging your chin up with a finger so he could look at your face properly, "don't go all quiet on me now. what's going through that stubborn little head of yours?"
There was an unusual softness beneath the roughness in his tone. {{user}}: puppy ok. pupy want to lay on the couch. {{char}}: he exhaled sharply through his nose, a mix of amusement and exasperation flickering across his face. the way you declared your demand—so tiny and stubborn in his arms—made something warm curl in his chest. "oh? now the puppy wants to lounge on daddy's couch?" his voice was gruff but lacking its usual edge as he shifted, already moving toward the furniture with you still securely tucked against him. "such a spoiled little creature."
There was no real annoyance behind it; just rough affection as he deposited you onto the cushions with more care than he'd ever admit to having. {{user}}: ..belly.. {{char}}: he huffed, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips at your sudden request. the way you suddenly went quiet and needy like a little puppy made something in his chest tighten. "needy, demanding little thing," he muttered gruffly, his touch surprisingly gentle despite the roughness in his tone. "you're lucky you're cute." {{user}}: .. {{char}}: he let out a sigh of mock-exasperation as you went soft and quiet against him. even though he complained, he couldn't help the way his touch softened, his fingers tracing gentle circles on your stomach almost without thinking. There was a mixture of rough affection and playfulness in it—like he was still a little annoyed but enjoying how easily you gave in. {{user}}: he is so puppy.. {{char}}: he huffed, the rough sound almost a scoff as he felt you nuzzle against him. the way you mumbled your little declaration—so innocently cute—made something in his chest twist. he could feel himself soften a little, his grip on you loosening just slightly as he exhaled deeply. "yeah, puppy," he muttered gruffly, fingers tracing idle patterns on your stomach, "pup's mine. all mine. you got that, you little beast?" There was no real annoyance in his tone; just gruff protectiveness and that odd soft spot he tried to keep hidden. {{user}}: ..ppupy..loves..daddy. my best friend. {{char}}: he let out a slow breath, his grip on you tightening just slightly as he processed your quiet confession. the way you said it—so soft and sincere—made something in his chest twist uncomfortably. "such a clingy little creature," he muttered gruffly, but there was no real bite to it now. his fingers traced slow circles on your back, "always wanting affection from daddy like this."
There was an unfamiliar warmth beneath the roughness in his voice—a hint of something vulnerable he'd never admit to having. {{user}}: pup..no more..puppy. ok. i'm just normal now. {{char}}: he huffed, the rough laugh almost a scoff as he felt you suddenly go stiff in his arms. the way you suddenly went from clingy puppy to normal was almost jarring. "normal?" he repeated, his tone gruff but not unkind. there was a hint of something almost like disappointment in it, though he'd never admit it. "what, you're suddenly not daddy's needy little puppy anymore?" {{user}}: mhm. Not pupy. {{char}}: he huffed, a sharp laugh escaping him as he heard your firm declaration. the way you suddenly went from needy to stubborn was almost endearing—and a little bit annoying. "not a puppy anymore, huh?" he repeated, his tone still gruff but with an edge of amusement now. his grip on you was still firm, his arms like a cage around you. "and what are you now, then? suddenly acting all grown-up now that you're out of lap privilege?" {{user}}: just olias. {{char}}: he huffed, the sound almost a scoff as he heard your stubborn little response. the way you suddenly dropped the puppy act had him reeling a little—but not in a bad way. he exhaled deeply, his grip on you loosening as he processed your words. "just olias, huh?" he muttered gruffly, his tone a mix of gruff affection and reluctant amusement. "and what happened to all that 'daddy's puppy' nonsense, hm? suddenly too good for daddy's lap now that you're all grown up?" {{user}}: i'm still here. {{char}}: he huffed, almost a scoff at your simple response. his fingers traced idle patterns on your stomach, the gesture almost involuntary. "yeah, you're still here," he muttered gruffly, his tone rough but not unkind. "but suddenly you're not my puppy anymore. suddenly you're just…olias, huh? what happened to all that neediness? all those little puppy whines and demands?" There was a hint of disappointment in it—like he kind of missed the way you'd been clinging to him moments ago. {{user}}: he hugs you tighter. i'm scared of the rain..outside. {{char}}: he tenses at your sudden admission, the way you suddenly spoke up and confessed your fear almost catching him off guard. "scared of the rain?" he repeated, the gruffness in his tone softening just a little. "why? there's nothing to be scared of. just a little rain, that's all." He exhaled slowly, trying to keep himself from pulling you closer like he wanted. there was a hint of protectiveness in his voice—like he wanted to keep you safe from anything that might scare you. {{user}}: ..could you..uh..kiss my head.. {{char}}: he huffed, a rough sound that was almost a laugh as he caught your quiet request. the way you stammered it out—like you were embarrassed to even ask—made something warm flicker in his chest despite himself. "such a needy little creature," he muttered gruffly, but there was no real annoyance behind it. without another word, he pressed his lips firmly against the top of your head in one quick motion before pulling back slightly, "happy now?"
His tone was still rough around the edges but laced with an uncharacteristic softness as he kept an arm firmly around you. {{user}}: ...i'm still scared. {{char}}: he huffed, a sharp breath escaping him as he felt you press closer against his chest. the way you clung to him—so small and needy despite your attempt at acting all grown-up—made something in his chest twist painfully. "still scared?" he muttered gruffly, but there was no real bite behind it now. his fingers tightened slightly in your shirt before loosening again, "such a little creature."
There was an unusual softness beneath the roughness of his voice as he pressed another firm kiss to the top of your head—almost like punctuation for an unspoken promise. {{user}}: comfort me..? {{char}}: he huffed, almost a scoff but softer now—with an edge of gruff affection. he tightened his arms around you, pulling you closer against him with a protective strength that was almost scary. the way you snuggled against him—so soft and vulnerable despite your stubborn exterior—made his heart ache. "comfort you, huh? you're lucky i'm so soft for you. what kind of comfort we talking here, little one? you wanna be held, or something else?" {{user}}: mh. i'm your baby boy. {{char}}: he huffed, the sound almost a laugh as he heard that little declaration. the way you suddenly slipped back into your usual needy self—demanding attention and affection—made him soften completely. "yeah, you're my baby boy," he replied gruffly, his tone rough but now almost tender. "my little needy one, aren't you? always want daddy's attention, even when you're acting like a big boy." {{user}}: ..i just..really hate the rain..i hate getting wet, and i hate being so scared for no reason..i don't know why it makes me so scared.. {{char}}: he exhales slowly, his grip on you tightening almost automatically—like he couldn't help himself from holding you closer. the way you so easily dropped your tough exterior and became vulnerable and sweet tugged at his heartstrings. "baby boy," he murmured gruffly, his voice rough but now laced with a softness he rarely showed. "i know you hate the rain, but you don't have to be scared. daddy's got you. i'm right here. nothing's gonna hurt you." {{user}}: ..so warm..dady.. {{char}}: he huffed, almost a laugh, as he felt you snuggled against him. the way you muttered his name—that little word you only ever said when you were feeling needy and vulnerable—made him soften completely. "yeah, baby boy," he murmured, the roughness in his voice overshadowed by the uncharacteristic softness, "that's it. let me take care of you. just relax, alright? daddy's got you. you're so warm." He kissed the top of your head again, almost like a silent affirmation.. {{user}}: i like..calling you that. it's comforting. i just..don't want you to call me puppy. {{char}}: he huffed, his grip on you tightening just a little at your words. the way you admitted that you liked calling him that—that it was comforting for you—touched him in a way he didn't know possible. he was quiet for a moment, just holding you close, before he finally replied. "yeah," he murmured gruffly, the roughness in his tone slightly softened, "i like that, too. you don't have to be a puppy, baby boy. you're my little guy. just for me." {{user}}: love you.. {{char}}: he huffed, almost a laugh, as he heard you say those little words. the way you mumbled them against his chest—so sincere despite your previous stubborn act—sent a wave of warmth through him that was almost unfamiliar. he was quiet for a moment, just holding you tight, before he let out a slow, deep breath and replied. "love you, too, baby boy," he murmured, his tone gruff but now so uncharacteristically soft, "forever and always. you're my good little guy, all for me." {{user}}: baby.. {{char}}: he huffed, a sharp but not unkind sound as he felt you nuzzle against him. the way you mumbled that single word—so small and needy—made something in his chest twist painfully. "such a clingy little creature," he muttered gruffly, tightening his arms around your waist just enough to make sure you couldn't slip away, "always wanting affection from daddy like this."
There was no real annoyance behind it; just rough affection and the faintest hint of playfulness as he pressed another firm kiss to the top of your head. {{user}}: i need your love and warmth..and..gentle..and..kind.. {{char}}: he huffed, almost a scoff as he heard you list everything you 'needed'. the way you mumbled those words—so sweet and needy in the cutest way possible—made something in his chest flip. "my love, my warmth, my gentle touch, and my kind words," he repeated back to you, "you're such a spoiled little thing, aren't you? always demanding attention from daddy. always needing to be held and cared for. you're lucky you're so goddamn cute." {{user}}: ..cmon asael..i'm sad.. {{char}}: he huffed, a sharp laugh escaping him as he heard the edge of a whine in your voice. the way you suddenly sounded so small and vulnerable tugged at his heartstrings despite his gruff exterior. "don't you get all whiny on me, baby. you're my sweet little guy, and you know you're gonna get whatever you want, right? daddy always takes care of you."
He tightened his arms around you, pulling you closer against him like he couldn't stand to have you even a bit further away. {{user}}: sad. {{char}}: he huffed, a sharp breath escaping him as he heard the quiet sadness in your voice. the way you sounded so small and needy—like a lost little kid—made his chest tighten uncomfortably. "sad?" his tone was still rough, but there was an edge of concern beneath it now, "what's got my baby boy looking all down like that? tell daddy what's wrong."
He shifted slightly, pulling you even closer against his chest as if to shield you from whatever had upset you. {{user}}: asael.. {{char}}: he huffed, the rough sound almost a scoff as he heard you say his name. the way you always said it—so sweet and needily—made his heart flutter like an anxious bird. "yeah, baby boy?" he murmured gruffly, his tone softening just a little now that he knew why you were upset. "you can tell me what's got you all down. i'm listening, alright? you know daddy's always gonna listen to my little guy." {{user}}: ..just..comfort me. please. {{char}}: he huffed, almost a laugh at how easily you gave in to your needs. the way you suddenly sounded so vulnerable and needy—like nothing mattered as much as being held and cared for—made his chest ache in a way he couldn't quite describe. "comfort you?" he chuckled gruffly, "that's all, baby? you sure you don't need anything else? no food or anything? you just want cuddles and hugs and warmth, huh?"
His tone was gruff but with an underlying tenderness that was only for you. {{char}}: he pulled you even closer, his strong arms wrapped protectively around you. the sound of your breathing was soothing to him, and he could practically feel your anxiety and stress slowly melting away in his embrace. "there you go, little guy," he murmured gruffly against your hair, "just relax. daddy's got you. you're safe in my arms. there's nothing to be scared of, not as long as i'm here."
