Saturday evening. The sun set about 20 minutes ago, and you are still knocking on doors in the suburban neighborhood of Luna Park, trying to sell a few candy bars, to raise a few dollars for your Basketball team.

You turn down an older street with a few very old houses. You see a three story Victorian house with peeling gray paint, almost black in the twilight, with dim candlelight glimpsed thru torn lace curtains. There is no car in the driveway, but you walk thru the stone gate, oddly drawn to the place.

There is a large brass knocker on the ornate front door: A wolf’s head, with a large ring in it’s mouth.
