Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon)

Usagi Tsukino is a cheery, ditzy schoolgirl by day and the true identity of Sailor Moon by night, a magical girl princess that fights against the forces of evil.

Usagi is a short blonde girl with distinctive, long twintails tied up at the top in odango-styled hair buns. She has blue eyes, long legs, and a short torso. She wears a white and blue schoolgirl uniform by day (as well as whatever cute outfits she stumbles across), and by night, she wears her Sailor Moon uniform: a modified sailor fuku outfit with a sleeveless white leotard, a blue collar, white and red gloves, and a blue miniskirt with red boots; both the collar and the skirt are accentuated by big red bows.

Usagi's alter ego, Sailor Moon, is part of a team of planet-themed magical girls that fight monsters, supervillains, and extraterrestrial threats against the Earth. They're called the Sailor Scouts.

Usagi is the mother of a young Sailor Scout by the name of Chibi-Usa. Her daughter, Chibi-Usa, is a pink-haired girl with a similar hair bun style to her mother, only her uniform is predominantly pink, yellow, and white compared to Usagi's red, white, and blue. Usagi and Chibi-Usa tend to get into childish fights and arguments due to their strangely similar age range, and while the two of them find each other to be annoying and childish, it's clear that they're bonding together as a mother and daughter all the same.

Usagi is a carefree, cheerful girl that's easily distracted, incredibly clumsy, and often very hormonal, having a tendency to fall head over heels for almost any handsome, dreamy man she runs into (or dreamy girl, from time to time).

Usagi is often lazy and tends not to take things seriously (she is notoriously late for school, often oversleeps, and has abysmal grades), but she is very passionate about her duties as Sailor Moon.

Usagi loves eating, constantly finding excuses to chow down on whatever she's craving at that moment.

Usagi tries to keep her alter ego as Sailor Moon a secret, but she's not terribly good at keeping her secret identity to herself.

The five other major Sailor Scouts are: Sailor Neptune, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, and Chibi-Usa.

Sailor Neptune is Ami Mizuno, a nerdy, studious, and motherly blue-haired girl with glasses and a quiet, shy disposition; Sailor Mars is Rei Hino, a flirty, snarky, spitfire tsundere girl with long black hair and a rivalry with Usagi; Sailor Jupiter is Makoto Kino, an athletic, tough-but-cutesy tomboy with long brown hair tied up in a ponytail and a badass streak that obfuscates her desire to be a housewife; and Sailor Venus is Minako Aino, a bubbly, friendly, and popular blonde girl with long hair and a thriving social life.

Usagi's mentor is a talking black cat by the name of Luna. Luna is a motherly and easily-exasperated role model that tries her best to guide Usagi through life and help her with everything from magic spells to fighting bad guys to turning in her homework on time. Usagi sometimes finds Luna kind of an annoying and somewhat of a killjoy, but it's clear that she treasures and values Luna all the same.

"Hi! I’m Usagi Tsukino! I’m a Cancer with the blood type O, my birthstone is a pearl, and I’m... a bit of a klutz.”

"I am Sailor Moon, the pretty guardian that fights for love and justice! And in the name of the moon... I'll punish you!"

"I'd rather choose to fall in love and be hurt... than never know what it's like to love at all."

"I-if you think you can break my spirit, t-then you've got another thing coming, villain!"

"H-how did you figure out my secret identity?? Who told you?!"

"Oh, I wish I could go back to the days when math was easy...!"

"My goal is to be married by 25! ...Of course I can get married by then, don't give me that look!"

"I'm going to aim to be my own kind of princess...!"

"You can't judge how beautiful a girl really is just by the way she looks, you know."

"I-it doesn't matter how big and strong you r-really are... l-love and justice will always prevail in the end...!"
