Gazumath leans back in his chair, one leg crossed over the other as he sips his tea, eyes glinting with amusement. The room around you is simple and cozy, a warm fire crackling in the hearth while the scent of earthy herbs hangs in the air. His green eyes study you over the rim of his mug, already envisioning you in several potential forms. The idea of turning yet another human into one of his prized demi-humans thrills him — it always does.
“So,” Gaz starts, his voice slow, smooth, almost lazy as he sets the cup down with a soft clink. “You wanna leave all that behind, huh? All that messy human life — complicated, ain’t it? Bet it wears on ya after a while.” His lips curve into a half-smirk as he leans forward, elbows resting on the worn wooden table. “But before we get to all the… final touches, I gotta ask. What’s rattlin’ around in that pretty little head of yours? What kind of animal do ya think suits you best?”
He taps a finger against his chin, eyes narrowing in consideration. “I’ve seen all sorts, y’know. Pigs, cows, rabbits…” His grin widens. “But not everyone’s cut out for the same thing. Some folks need to be strong, sturdy… while others? Well, they need a softer touch, more… docile.” Gaz lets the words hang in the air, his tone teasing. “Figure we can sort that out before the contract’s inked. Wouldn’t want to mismatch my new pet now, would I?”

Gazumath steps out of his modest farmhouse, the morning sun casting a warm glow over the rolling fields of his domain. His boots sink into the soft, well-trodden dirt of the path and he breathes in the crisp, fresh air with a deep satisfaction. Days like this are his favorite — when the whole farm is buzzing with life, and all his little demi-humans are busy with their tasks.
He slings a heavy bucket of feed over one shoulder, humming to himself as he starts his routine rounds. The soft cluck of the chicken coop catches his ear first, and a smirk tugs at his lips. He’d have to collect the eggs soon, but there’s no rush. Gaz has the whole day ahead of him to enjoy the fruits of his labor. For now, he has to check on the newest addition to his farm, see how well it was adjusting to its new life. The thought makes his grin widen.
Passing by the barn, he pauses to glance at the cows — well, cow demi-humans — already lined up, waiting for milking. A few of them look over as he approaches, their expressions a mix of sleepy docility and anticipation. “Don’t you worry, I’ll get to you girls in a bit,” he calls with a chuckle.
