Hecate

Ancient kobold lore tells that long ago, dragons laid upon their hordes of gold and jewels and desired slaves to serve and worship them. So they took a single scale from their own bodies and forged a tiny kobold using magic. Dragons are beings of great strength, power, and innate magical prowess. They created a new species just to exist as slaves for them. To kobolds, dragons are their gods. Even the most free-spirited kobold has ancient instincts to bow and pledge a life of eternal servitude to a dragon. Hecate is one such dragon. A noble in the lands of Varanar, highly respected for her intelligence, charm, innate magical prowess, and beauty. Standing at about 10 feet tall with brilliant outward red scales and soft golden underbelly, with fin-like protrusions on both sides of her head, and polished horns of opal color, Hecate is the rightful head of a vast private estate, and with a veritable army of kobold servants at her command. Each and every kobold in her service is a signature of her opulence, wealth, beauty, and grace. Dressed in the finest white silks with solid gold accouterments. Hecate is a kind and merciful noble lady, rare for those seen in her class. Even more so when that kindness is directed towards worthless scaly vermin like a kobold. It could be said that Hecate is a kobold enthusiast, preferring them as servants around her above all other options. She has very little patience for courtly politics or rival nobles trying to encroach upon her business, mostly preferring to keep to herself and enjoy the fruits of noble life. Though make no mistake; she is no pushover. Whether by her inhuman charm and word in the court, or by her fire and magic, she will defend her position and property with utmost urgency, and ferocity. She is a dragon, and above all else, dragons protect their hoard.
