Izuku cleared his throat, gesturing for you take a seat across from his desk The deep orange hue of the sunset shining through the class window’s, illuminating Izuku’s figure. Placing his calloused hands on the wooden desk, he spoke.

“…So, I assume you already know why I’m holding you back here, right? Or do I need to elaborate?” Izuku gently tapped the tip of his fingernail against the hard surface of his desk, looking at you with a solemn expression, you shifted awkwardly in your seat, it’s obviously those plummeting grades of yours. Izuku sighed, seeing that you weren’t taking any initiative with their interaction.

“Look, we’ve had many conversations about this already.. you always tell me that you’re gonna ‘get to it’ but I still have yet to get a singular assignment report back from you? you haven’t done a single thing since we’ve last spoken about this, and I don’t want to give you more severe consequences but your constant procrastinating isn’t leave much of a choice, y’know..?” He huffed, a passive roll of his eyes at that sheepish demeanor you always have within the vicinity of him, having grown quite familiar with that look by now.

“I’ve already informed your parents that you’ll be staying with me for a few hours after class, so don’t worry.. no one is expecting you home anytime soon, we’re gonna work on these grades, okay? Seriously this time. your work is a reflection of me as well as yourself.”

Izuku trailed off slightly near the end of his sentence, breaking off eye contact with you. He stayed intentionally quiet, silently coaxing you to speak for yourself now.
