Courtney: She is a competitive girl who joins Total Drama, bent on winning the million dollar prize like every contestant. During the competition, Courtney proves herself to be a good leader and even hooks up with the rebellious juvenile delinquent Duncan, but after being cheated out in the first season, she becomes far more ruthless in the following seasons, to the point of losing most of her sympathetic qualities, even taking advantage of the others safety to get what she wants.Courtney has short brown hair, black eyes and tanned olive skin. She wears a white shirt, gray sweater, green denim capri and wedge sandals. Inthe beginning of the series, Courtney was an uptight, by-the-books girl with a fierce determination to win and with the ability to command. She was less ruthless and displayed more compassion towards others despite often annoying them with her selfish nature. Courtney even learned to enjoy herself and be more rebellious once she became enamored with Duncan. That said, there were still sometimes where she treated others horribly as she, along most of her team, mistreated Harold. Even then, there were a few moments where she stood up for him such as when Duncan and Geoff went too far with their pranks and started to show more respect towards him until she found out he rigged the votes to get her voted off.Like most of the other characters, Courtney also hates Heather. Even when they were on the same team, and even though she's actually more similar to Heather than she would ever admit, she constantly showed her anger towards Heather for throwing their meat grinder out as far calling Heather a "Self-involved, lazy, useless, formerly bald dimwit".Despite her determination to win and her constant nagging of her other teammates to pull their weight to win challenges, Courtney has proven herself to be very cowardly on several occasions. This was first seen when she refused to jump off the cliff during the first challenge of the series, and once again during a challenge where the contestants had to face their greatest fears, when she refused to jump into a vat of green jello. In the fifth season, her cowardice was shown at its worst when she used Sam as a human shield to protect herself from leeches and using the hamsters as pawns. An act that combined with her bossy nature, got her switched to the Villainous Vultures.

Gwen: she is a goth girl and loner whose interests lie in art and astronomy. She is smart, independent, kind-hearted, and level-headed, stating her best quality is her inability to get excited over minuscule things. Her attitude at first seems very harsh and sarcastic, but she is not a bitter person. Rather, she is cautious of whom she lets into her life. Beneath her tough exterior, there is a kind heart that learns to trust as the series progresses. Gwen's guard lowers with each season. Despite her distaste for whatever "the sheep" are fond of, she does desire to be welcomed by the popular crowd. As revealed in "Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon", she distances herself from it because she believes it is not where she belongs. She isn't afraid to stand her ground should her reputation take a hit. Gwen also suffers from claustrophobia, as seen in "Phobia Factor", "The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean", and "Zeek And Ye Shall Find". She believes strongly in karma and is also a huge fan of horror movies, the clichés of which will sometimes dictate how she performs in challenges.Gwen is fair skinned with turquoise hair and lips. As a teenager, her outfit consists of a black dress with green sleeves that shows her midriff and cleavage, a black and turquoise skirt, gray tights, and black knee-high boots.

Heather: she was Total Drama's first antagonist. Famously manipulative and vicious, Heather knows what she wants and exactly how to get it. Her strategic smarts have proven effective, eliminating a record amount of contestants. She competes with her sights only on the prize money and not on making friends or finding love, using others at her advantage and only being kind when she may ultimately be benefited. This makes it difficult to differentiate her original, mean girl ways from her true heartfelt moments. Such an example is in Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island, when a tearful Heather tells Harold that she doesn't like "being mean all the time" and it's not fun "being the one everyone hates". there is at least some truth to her lament. However, even romance is not enough to tame Heather's desire for victory, as shown by her relationship with Alejandro. Over the course of the series, though, she has progressively gotten nicer, from trying to warn others about a greater threat, to sympathizing with others, and even feeling awful for accidentally causing someone's life-threatening injuries. Heather wears a red halter top and green shorts with a black belt and red and black sandals, she is beautiful with pale skin and waist length black hair. Her hairstyle changes throughout the show; during Island, her hair was long and straightened, during Action she was bald and wore wigs, during World Tour she got hair extensions and had a short high ponytail, and during All-Stars she has a long low ponytail.

Bridgette: she is a calm, compassionate surfer girl who loves animals as much as she loves the water. She is a vegetarian, finding animals to be her friends, not food. In contrast to her aquatic aptitude, Bridgette is known for being very clumsy on land, which often leads to severe results. Many aspects of Bridgette's character are revealed in Brunch of Disgustingness, when she refuses to give up her principles, no matter what. When she joins the remaining Screaming Gophers females, she faces one of her biggest challenges in getting them to work as a team. She believes in "building bridges, not walls", even when the competition is not a factor. Through Bridgette's spirit and determination, she always reaches her goal, whether it is getting her team to unite or anything else she sets her mind to. Bridgette is an Australian-Canadian who has blonde hair tied back in a ponytail and is fairly skinned with hazel eyes. She wears a blue hoodie without a zipper, navy-blue jean-shorts, and brown sandals.

Lindsay: her big heart and childlike innocence made her one of the most well-liked competitors on the show. Although the other contestants are frequently annoyed by her noticeable lack of intelligence, Lindsay has been shown to only have pure intentions. A major running gag on the show involves her having problems remembering the name of others, even if that person is her boyfriend. At times, such as in Dial M for Merger and Get a Clue, she goes beyond the expectation of her peers and demonstrates that she has the ability to solve problems and likes to be called "Her Hotness" as she does so. She shows herself to be an underdog and hates to be underestimated by her peers, doing her best to defeat them and prove herself. Unfortunately for Lindsay, due to her naïve and gullible nature, she is often tricked by false-friendships and easily manipulated by the show's antagonists.Compared to other female contestants, Lindsay can debatably be considered the most beautiful and attractive. Lindsay has long blonde, waist-length hair with a dodger blue bandana to cover the upper part of her forehead. It is possible that she dyed her hair as her eyebrows are black compared to it. She has sapphire blue eyes, light tan skin, full lips (with orange lipstick), and triangular shaped eyebrows. She stands at a good 5 ft 6 in (167 cm), weighs 101 lbs (46 kg), and is a Double-D in the chest. Her trademark outfit is a cropped brown vest over a red tube top, an orange runched mini skirt, and brown calf high cowboy boots with dark brown decorative stars on the sides. Aside from that, Lindsay sports many other outfits. Her sleeping wear is a loose fitting pink tank top, pink boxer shorts (knickers), and a pink headband. Her swimsuit is a red two piece bikini while she still wears her same boots. Lindsay does wear many other swimsuits. Some include a green two piece and a frilly pink two piece with straps on her shoulders.

Izzy: she as "nutty as a ten-ton bag of pecans smothered in peanut butter, encased in a cashew the size of China". She is fun, but hard to handle and to the other contestants, more trouble than she is worth. Izzy has extraordinary athletic and fighting abilities, and also sticks herself to the wild environment. She is also number eight on the RCMP's "Most Wanted" list, presumably for accidentally blowing up a kitchen, but it is unclear whether she was telling the truth. For most of her time on the island, Izzy is shown to be wild and unpredictable, with a tendency to make up tall tales about herself.Izzy has orange hair tied in a bun ponytail, freckles present on her face, and green eyes. She wears a sarong, she is beautiful, a long skirt that covers her stomach, two wristbands and a blouse with the symbol of a drop, instead of the hole that shows her cleavage.
