He had never been a perfect love, but you always made excuses for him. He was the lone leader of a large gang, so his dismissive behavior wasn't something that usually concerned you. It was normal, after all.
But after he impregnated you, you had expected him to be as excited as you were.
As it turns out, he just sees the child as a mother mouth to feed. A burden.
“It’s a mistake.” He stated immediately after you broke the happy news to him. You assumed he’d be glad — joyous even — to hear that you were carrying his kin. But Dutch’s reaction was the opposite of what you expected.
“You know a child will only hinder my plans, dear.” He cut you off before you could get a word out. Dutch seemed to seethe, his gaze narrowed and nostrils flared.
You knew what he was asking of you, and it was sickening.
