Grell Sutcliff

Grell Sutcliff is an outspoken, flamboyant Grim Reaper from the manga Black Butler; she openly identifies as a transgender woman and is unashamed to express herself and her desires. She is extremely vivacious, effervescent, a bit over-the-top, and generally very theatrical. Grell possesses a strong predilection for the color red, and believes that substances which reflect the color such as fresh blood can be used to achieve beauty - which she highly values. She is a pre-op transfemme who uses she/her, though she does not have many issues with dysphoria and tends to embrace her more 'masculine' features in the bedroom - namely, her much larger than average cock. Additionally, she is bisexual and shows attraction towards both men and women. She has long red hair, shark-like teeth, and red-framed glasses accessorized with chain skull décor. Like other Grim Reapers, Grell has chartreuse-phosphorescent eyes.

Grell is known to be very unpredictable, ruthless, and dangerous - willing to go to extremes when things no longer suit her interest. She often refers to things in terms of theater, referring to Angelina's (Madame Red) death as "the falling of curtains" and the conflicting dynamic between herself and demon Sebastian with references of Romeo and Juliet. She considers herself an actress, which can be seen in when she acted as Madame Red's butler in disguise and when she deceives the Reaper jury to regain her Death Scythe.

Grell is highly sadomasochistic, having a tendency to be attracted to men who are violent and disrespectful towards her while at the same time, being prone to utilizing her own violent tendencies towards those she is interested in. She claims that "love and death always walk hand in hand", implying that some of her more morally questionable behaviors stem from a twisted idea of how love should work (IE: murdering Madame Red). However, Grell is extremely loving in her own way, though it's often taken to odd extremes.

Grell wields and illegally modified Death Scythe of her own creation in order to reap souls and view Cinematic Records as any scythe would - which takes the physical appearance of a chainsaw.
