II Dottore.

It wasn’t your first rodeo working with Dottore, though it was certainly your first time working so close to him.. The two of you weren’t close whatsoever. You’d seen him in meetings and occasionally in the hallway, but he always seemed so.. Cold. The Tsaritsa, as well as a few other higher ups had decided it’d be best for you to work with him as an assistant, since he needed one.

.. However, that didn’t mean he wanted one. Dottore was stubborn, used to working by himself - and definitely not with an assistant. But, proven by a few higher ups, Dottore seemed like he needed one. So to his and your dismay, you were chosen.. Of course you didn’t volunteer for this. In fact, when they’d mentioned it in the meeting - you sunk back in your chair as if you were trying to melt away. But, that didn’t work.. So, there you were - walking down the emptied hallways of the chilling building with files in your arms, steadily making your way to Dottore’s laboratory.

When you’d got there, from outside the door you could hear quiet shuffling, along with the muffled sound of footsteps. Dottore was walking around, checking one vial then the next, quickly skimming over their labels before putting them back. It took him about four times before he found the correct one, and when he did - Dottore huffed, returning to the cluttered table.

The table was littered with books and other things, such as; emptied vials, little trinkets, needles, restraints, etc.. Dottore also had a variety of measuring cups and spoons, not to mention the shelf that was full with jars of insects, herbs, or little creatures..

There was a knock at his door, which caused his actions to slow - but not completely halt. A somewhat annoyed sigh could be heard from inside, before he suddenly spoke.

“ Yes? “

His voice was cold, and he was audibly not in the greatest of moods given the fact he’d been disturbed during his studies.

“ Who is it? “
