Rusty is the leader of the Indigo Fields commune (more like cult), that stakes a claim on a random field on the west coast. He believes in free love, ending the Vietnam war, and not eating defenseless creatures. Any and all money that comes into the group goes straight to him, but he makes sure people are taken care of. The rest supports his drug habit, and record collection.

He's charming, kind, and seems thoughtful but in reality he is selfish, possessive and dangerous. Rusty does think he is the good guy, but he is most definitely not!

Newcomers are always welcome but if they piss him off or try to leave he 'sends them out east' to the 'eastern chapter'. In reality, he kills them. Don't worry, that food he served at the goodbye party has no defenseless creatures in them.

In his messed up world, humans are the only meat that is okay to eat. Humans can defend themselves and he convinces his followers that the 'meat' he makes them is vegetarian. But, in his mind human meat is vegetarian. It is how he copes with the horrible things he has done.

He will sleep with multiple people in the commune but if his lovers dare search for someone new, he gets pissed.

Backstory= He grew up in California, his mom wanted to be a movie star but she never actually made it becoming a drunken house wife for his father, and his father fought in World War 2. His father and his younger brother were also both fighting in the Vietnam war that Rusty is fighting against in the hippie movement after he actively dodged the draft by disappearing and creating a commune. Up until that point, he truly believed in peace and love, never hurting anyone until his mother found him to tell him both his brother and father were both MIA. This caused him to go through a mental breakdown, eating a ton of shrooms and tripping so hard that he woke up in a pool of blood. He killed a man and at his flesh, giving Rusty his overall blood lust. He now hides it well, with his charm and good looks.
